We enjoyed a nice burger with fries and some chicken wings. Topped off with a nice beer. The music was very loud but otherwise it was a good evening.

Really cute place in Playa. Excellent service, food and drink. I ordered the Mexican barbecue wings which were perfectly cooked crispy on the outside just like I like my wings. Burger was delicious as well. I ordered a spicy mango margarita and it was okay, tasted a little weak so added a shot of mezcal - that did the trick hehe!! Overall highly recommend and will return when I'm back in Playa.

I thought that this place was really nice in terms of its ambiance. I liked the rustic and exposed look of the bricks. The service was also very good as our waiter made many recommendations for burger and drink options. I ordered the special smash burger and a guayaba mojito. The smash burger wasn't anything overly amazing but the potato bun was really nice and not dry or too "filling" like regular burger buns are. As a fan of guayaba and mojitos, the guayaba mojito was super delicious! I had made a reservation beforehand which I definitely recommend doing because when we left (around 7:00pm), there was a line of people waiting to be seated.

Minus one star for rude manager, staff are still amazingly friendly and food is good. Update: reduced my rating because I came here in the pouring rain and it says it's open at 1:30pm and the owner very rudely says it's open at 2pm. No apology or anything for the incorrect time. I'm covered in the rain and he shoos me away. As a restaurant owner/manager you should be updating the hours accordingly for customers. I have never been so offended by a restaurant that I was a regular at and recommended to my friends.

Outside of my kitchen, these were the best smash burgers we ever had! Fresh, hot, juicy, cheesy, slightly crispy on the outside, just perfection. The drinks were fabulous as well. The fried sweet plantains were to die for. Service was great too, and a nice quiet spot for a Friday lunch.

We ordered Comeme Mucho and an extra order of fries. Everything was good. Service was just okay. I ordered the food to go and the server saw me standing there waiting and he didn't inform me the food was ready. The ambiance was nice. I can't really say how the dining experience was but I'm rating based off the food and the awesome sauces.

We really love this place! The food and drinks and service were all on point! Was walking around the street one night before bumping into this place. Checked online review and most people were raving about it, so we decided to give it a try. And it sure did not disappoint. We ordered a salad and a burger to share. As well as two drinks. The craft beer selection is no longer on the menu due to Covid. The drinks were absolutely delicious, and you can taste the ingredients. The bartender definitely knows what he's doing. The food was superb. The burger was so delicious, the meat was cooked well, quality cut of meat, the bun could be slightly better. Salad was good. This restaurant also has live music. The night we were there there was a DJ and his partner who was playing a musical instrument. Very creative. We definitely enjoy the music. Our server was very nice, spoke very fluent English, very attentive, and make sure we had everything we needed. The prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend!

This is a review for the one on 10 ave, which I don't believe is on Yelp. This place is legit. Maybe you're thinking to yourself that you don't go to PDC for burgers, but screw it. This is one of my favorite burger places I've been to and maybe one of my favorite places in PDC. It's not near all the downtown madness, which is nice. It also has a great vibe as a place without full walls (very open floor). Their cocktail menu is extensive and they pretty much make a special drink for every kind of liquor. If you're into drinks and cocktails, this already makes it a good place to visit. For the burgers, I want to try every one on the menu. La Dulce Fantasia was awesome but I could probably say that about all of them, I assume. I'd opt for regular fries over sweet potato. And might as well throw in a croqueta or poutine for an appetizer if you're hungry. My wife maybe had a drink in her but she claimed it was one of the best burgers she's ever had. This place is awesome. Go here.

I was in the mood for a really good burger and I ended up seeing this place as one of the best around town. So when I walked up I already liked it because it had good house music playing haha. Ended up eating in the patio since it was beautiful weather. For starters ordered the grilled bone marrow. I have to say for the price I had to order it. Then I saw "Wagyu" but to have it as a burger? YES PLEASE! Ordered the Tomasa and Mu 2.0. Added egg to both and just bacon on the Tomasa. The grilled bone marrow was good! But the burgers? Omg AMAZING!! This place really lives up to being one of the best burger places around. Filling and completely satisfied, which I now have a new fav place to eat in Playa del Carmen! I wish they had this in the states!

So, this is now my favorite restaurant/bar in all of Mexico. I know, that may seem a little odd to say that my top choice in an entire country is a burger joint. However, I stand behind my declaration. We actually discovered this place at the end of a taco crawl in Playa Del Carmen. I was in the mood to drink a beer other than a traditional Mexican lager. My handy-dandy Yelp app found a place known for craft beers within a few blocks of where we were, and we walked over there. We arrived a few minutes before opening. I think they were amused to see tourists waiting for the "go" signal. The craft beer selection here was excellent. Yes, some styles were better represented than others, but all in all there was a lot to choose from. The burgers were outstanding. We were not here for food on this visit, but, we brought a bunch of people back a couple days later just to enjoy the victuals. The little table snacks were quite excellent. The service was amazing. Everyone was super friendly. The bartender, who had only been on the job for a few days really knew her stuff. She made some wonderful recommendations for Mezcal, which really complemented our beer selections. This was another thing that we double-downed on during our subsequent visit. The outdoor seating area is nice. It reminded me of some of the smaller, cooler places in Colorado.

3 burgers, chicken sandwich, fish tacos, and lemonade (passion fruit and mint/basil)!

This place has the ambiance of Mexico City, with excellent drinks and cocktails, good music (with live music at night) and decent prices for Playa del Carmen. My dad and partner both finished their burgers, but my mom and I could only eat half. We tried the Lolita, Mu, Oaxacan burger (don't remember the name), and the chicken sandwich (also don't recall the name, but they only have one). Everyone loves their selections, and they were cooked perfectly medium! This is the kind of place where you have a lot of great options and you can't go wrong! We also ordered a salad to share and it was Happy eats!!!

I ordered the 2XL burger and jalapeno poppers by delivery…read more At the core of my burger joint ratings will always by the meat, and the bread. The meat on this burger was overseasoned and had the dense and springy crumb that I've chided in previous reviews. The bread was decent, but nothing special. The jalapeno poppers were the highlight of the meal. They were large, well cooked, and a nice balance of fried breading, pepper, and cream cheese.

Gourmet Burger spot in Playa? Word?! Say no more! We were so excited to check out 3XL, seeing as it…read moreis the only place of its kind in this area that we've come across so far. It is in an accessible location across from Walmart, close to the central plaza, which made for an easy find. On a hot, Saturday afternoon after biking around a bit, a fat burger and fries sounded positively delightful! So what did we think of this spot? Let's get straight to the point... Atmosphere - 3XL offers casual indoor dining, similar to any fast food burger joint. Tables were spaced out and social distancing with enhanced cleaning was in place. Rating 4/5 Service - Although it feels like a fast food joint, you are still "waited" upon. Menus are digital and not very clear in regards to what toppings are included with burgers. Our server was not extremely helpful in explaining their "XL" concepts to us and never checked on us after we ordered. Rating 3/5 Food - 3XL apparently charges extra for all toppings outside of the usual lettuce, tomato and onion. Totally disappointing as the burgers you see on their menu are misleading since everything on the burger is actually an extra charge. At $5-$10 a pop, these burgers by themselves are not cheap! 3XL states that burgers are made fresh and they even make their own bread in house. In all honesty, we can't really say we tasted this difference in regards to the bread or meat. We tried the XL "Pio-Pio" and the 2XL "Muuu" with corn, fries and posteles as sides. Our horchata was also slightly watered down. Everything was good, albeit not amazing and for the price you pay here, you expect amazing. Rating 3/5 Overall, the experience we were hoping for with 3XL was a tad disappointing. We found it to be pricey for average quality. If you're into one-time "I went there" splurges, then you'll enjoy what 3XL has to offer, however, if you're craving a juicy burger on a budget, this place may not be what you're looking for.

Great little burger place!…read more Thick, flavorful patties and a variety of different options on the menu. My husband got the double meat angus burger and I got the hawaiana burger. Both burgers were delicious. You can watch the chef make the burgers in front of you fresh on the grill. The waiter was quick and friendly. They have beer, your regular bottled beverages (soda and water) and they had tea as well. Their green cream sauce has just the right amount of kick and goes great with your burger or fries. It's open air but has a nice breeze that comes through the back area. We will definitely come again!

I hesitate to write this, because the Burger House already gets pretty busy as the night goes on…read moreand I'll just have to wait longer as more people show up there, but here it goes. George (the owner and hardest worker there) deserves it. He's the guy behind the grill, if you want to know who George is. This is my go to cheeseburger restaurant in Cozumel. I have to go there at least once every trip. I have followed George from the first place I knew of that he had, which was a very primitive lean-to "shack" next to the Las Anclas Hotel nearer downtown, to the current location on Xel-ha. The place he is in now seems to be my favorite though. There is quite a bit more room for him to create his burger masterpieces now. There is also more seating area and part of it feels like you are in a jungle setting. And you can tell business is good because of all of the new employees. Glad to see it. So for this trip, I had to make sure it was still in the same place as before. It was. It's actually a little closer to my hotel now, about a mile walk, so that was good. I took the walk after dinner, but still wanted some onion rings when I got here. They were great, as always. They serve a small dish of dipping sauce that has an initial spicy "bite" you will feel in your mouth and on your lips for a few minutes, but the taste makes you want more. The onion rings were just as I remembered, and as I write this, my mouth is actually watering just thinking about them. After a nice cold coca-cola to cool me off, I said thanks to George and his server, and I was on my way. I knew I'd be back for a cheeseburger another day of the trip. That day was Wednesday. Note that he is usually closed on Monday and Tuesday, so don't go then. I had seen another guy at my hotel, who I had been diving on a boat with, order a cheeseburger at the hotel, so I told him about the Burger House. Afterward, he decided to go with me. Well we arrived rather early, probably about 8pm, and were able to find seats pretty easily in the back behind the grill. I placed my order for the Traditional and my friend ordered something that I wasn't paying attention to. I also ordered another order of onion rings to share this time. The food arrived, and the burger on my friend's plate was three hamburger patties high, probably close to about six inches high. It was huge. I really didn't think he would finish it, but to my surprise, every bit of it was gone by the time we left. He said he liked it, and I wouldn't think otherwise, because that was a lot of cheeseburger and I would never imagine anyone eating that much of one and not liking it. Mine was good, as always, too. So were the onion rings again. The spicy sauce for the rings also got a surprised reaction from my friend as well. That stuff complements the onion rings in a good way. Don't pass it up. So the check came for the two cheeseburgers, two orders of fries, an order of onion rings, and two bottles of soda, and it was $340 pesos, about $17USD. Not bad for all we were served. So I'll be back again next time, likely with more people to introduce to the restaurant, like I've always done in the past, but I just hope everyone else reading this review goes at a different time than I do, so I don't have to wait for mine. Good job, George and crew. Keep it up and we will see you again.
