Saw a youtube video by The RopeMonster a guy who highlights great eating and drinking spots in Playa. We brought our dog and sat on the patio, while it wasn't so hot you needed air conditioning it is nice that they have that option in another room. The place is clean, the service was super fast, the menu a bit tricky if you want it in English you have to scroll down past the one in Spanish through a whatsapp pdf on your phone. The burger I got was Hawai de vacaciones - pineapple jam, bacon and habanero, smoked ham, cheddar cheese, and truffle mayo smash doble ó classic cut 220 wagyu 340 Best burger I have ever had which I was not expecting and the reason for my picture looking like it does. The fries come with it and they were good with a nice touch of flavoring. This location was on 10th as they have another on 40th. read more

Food was great! Such delicious burgers too! We visited twice during our vacation and both times had a great time and good drinks and food. Our server was so attentive and really took care of us. Instead of your traditional tortilla chips and salsa they provided churos and salsa! That was a hit! Super cute decor and very well lit for a patio theme restaurants. Really cute place in Playa. Excellent service, food and drink. I ordered the Mexican barbecue wings which were perfectly cooked crispy on the outside just like I like my wings. Burger was delicious as well. I ordered a spicy mango margarita and it was okay, tasted a little weak so added a shot of mezcal - that did the trick hehe!! I thought that this place was really nice in terms of its ambiance. I liked the rustic and exposed look of the bricks. The service was also very good as our waiter made many recommendations for burger and drink options. I ordered the special smash burger and a guayaba mojito. The smash burger wasn't anything overly amazing but the potato bun was really nice and not dry or too "filling" like regular burger buns are. As a fan of guayaba and mojitos, the guayaba mojito was super delicious! Update: reduced my rating because I came here in the pouring rain and it says it's open at 1:30pm and the owner very rudely says it's open at 2pm. No apology or anything for the incorrect time. I'm covered in the rain and he shoos me away. As a restaurant owner/manager you should be updating the hours accordingly for customers. We really love this place! The food and drinks and service were all on point! Was walking around the street one night before bumping into this place. Checked online review and most people were raving about it, so we decided to give it a try. And it sure did not disappoint. We ordered a salad and a burger to share. As well as two drinks. The craft beer selection is no longer on the menu due to Covid. The drinks were absolutely delicious, and you can taste the ingredients. The bartender definitely knows what he's doing. The food was superb. The burger was so delicious, the meat was cooked well, quality cut of meat, the bun could be slightly better. Salad was good. This restaurant also has live music. The night we were there there was a DJ and his partner who was playing a musical instrument. Very creative. We definitely enjoy the music. This is a review for the one on 10 ave, which I don't believe is on Yelp. This place is legit. Maybe you're thinking to yourself that you don't go to PDC for burgers, but screw it. This is one of my favorite burger places I've been to and maybe one of my favorite places in PDC. It's not near all the downtown madness, which is nice. It also has a great vibe as a place without full walls (very open floor). Their cocktail menu is extensive and they pretty much make a special drink for every kind of liquor. If you're into drinks and cocktails, this already makes it a good place to visit. For the burgers, I want to try every one on the menu. La Dulce Fantasia was awesome but I could probably say that about all of them, I assume. I'd opt for regular fries over sweet potato. And might as well throw in a croqueta or poutine for an appetizer if you're hungry. My wife maybe had a drink in her but she claimed it was one of the best burgers she's ever had. I was in the mood for a really good burger and I ended up seeing this place as one of the best around town. So when I walked up I already liked it because it had good house music playing haha. Ended up eating in the patio since it was beautiful weather. For starters ordered the grilled bone marrow. I have to say for the price I had to order it. So, this is now my favorite restaurant/bar in all of Mexico. I know, that may seem a little odd to say that my top choice in an entire country is a burger joint. However, I stand behind my declaration. We actually discovered this place at the end of a taco crawl in Playa Del Carmen. I was in the mood to drink a beer other than a traditional Mexican lager. My handy-dandy Yelp app found a place known for craft beers within a few blocks of where we were, and we walked over there. We arrived a few minutes before opening. I think they were amused to see tourists waiting for the "go" signal. The craft beer selection here was excellent. Yes, some styles were better represented than others, but all in all there was a lot to choose from. The burgers were outstanding. We were not here for food on this visit, but, we brought a bunch of people back a couple days later just to enjoy the victuals. The little table snacks were quite excellent. The service was amazing. Everyone was super friendly. The bartender, who had only been on the job for a few days really knew her stuff. She made some wonderful recommendations for Mezcal, which really complemented our beer selections. This was another thing that we double-downed on during our subsequent visit. This place has the ambiance of Mexico City, with excellent drinks and cocktails, good music (with live music at night) and decent prices for Playa del Carmen. My dad and partner both finished their burgers, but my mom and I could only eat half. We tried the Lolita, Mu, Oaxacan burger (don't remember the name), and the chicken sandwich (also don't recall the name, but they only have one). Everyone loves their selections, and they were cooked perfectly medium! This is the kind of place where you have a lot of great options and you can't go wrong! This place is too dark at night to take photos. My apologies. I ordered the shrimp and chorizo croquettes along with the Mu Burger. I was overall underwhelmed by the meal and the cost. The croquettes are basically fried balls of some strach with bits of chorizo and shrimp. The bite is dominated by the starch in the croquettes. The burger was underwhelming. The meat did not have enough fat. The pack of it was too dense. The grind was too fine. And the beef was not well seared. This outweighed all other factors of the burger. The dressings (bacon, cheese, etc,) could not begin to cover up the generically mediocre beef. read more

Worst experience at a restaurant in Mexico. We come to this country 1-2 times a year, so we are not new to the experiences. We ordered 2 burgers well done. And truffle fries. We did not get our fries and my burger was literally bleeding all over my plate of food. When we asked them to fix it; they said they would have to just charge us for a 3rd burger; and refused to fix it. The sauces were good at least No one here speaks English. We have enough Spanish thay it was fine for us. But it would not be for someone who doesn't speak Spanish. This photo does not do the blood justice. Our two margaritas took for ever to get, my husband tried to order two items off the menu & they were out of both items, our appetizers we ordered were burnt to a crisp, fries originally were supposed to come with our burgers and they were out of fries & I ordered plantains my husband had the salad as substitutions and we were charged extra for both items! Before we even got our food we ordered two soft drinks and never got them, my husband asked to cancel them only after we were done with our meal & they seemed upset about us cancelling them! The burgers we received were alright, nothing too appetizing, but because we were starving we ate it except for the burnt plantains which were not edible! This spot is great! Nice ambience and aesthetic, has a very European vibe with the music, decor and craft beers. We ordered the truffle and mushroom burger, it was delicious! The Truffle fries were yummy as well, but did not expect them to come with this sweet red sauce drizzled on top. It was an interesting mix, I would maybe ask for only the truffle sauce next visit. The Arugula salad was fresh and was not shy on the cheese. Mac and cheese was good as well, but must eat quickly as the cheese hardens fast. The Maracuya cocktail was absolutely delicious and fresh. We will definitely be coming back next time we visit Cancun! Here are some of the highlights I can think of; excellent drinks menu with wine, beer, cocktails and great mezcal options. I ordered a mezcal and it came served on it's own little tray with different citrus and salt. My fiance loved his beer too. The burgers are top notch. Both cooked to what each of us asked for. I appreciated how you can build your own from any ingredient. And there are so many to choose from.
