I ordered three custom sofas from JC Perreault, manufactured by Décor-Rest, expecting high quality and durability. What I received was anything but. After waiting six months for delivery, one of the sofas started to fail within another six months--springs were literally coming out of the seat. It took over a month for anyone to come and fix it. Fast forward eight months, and the same sofa broke again in the exact same way. This furniture is in the home of an elderly woman, with no children, no pets, and very light use. If a sofa can't survive in that environment, I can only imagine how quickly it would fall apart in a home with young children or animals. It's not only disappointing--it's dangerous. The fact that this happened twice with the same piece shows a clear failure in Décor-Rest's quality control, and JC Perreault's after-sales service was slow and unhelpful. They were quick to take our money but nowhere near as responsive when things went wrong. A sofa of this price and brand reputation should last for years--not fall apart twice within less than two. This is not an isolated issue; it's a warning sign. I would strongly caution anyone considering purchasing from either of these companies. Buyer beware: you're on your own once they deliver.

Purchased a Bed and a sideboard 6 weeks ago. These guys were arguing and shouting at each other in Russian during more than 1 hour. I was shocked by that, but since they were putting together the bed, I endured that. Then, no news, I had to leave a very large number of messages, emails as nobody never answers their queue line. You always end up having to leave a voicemail but they never call back. After numerous attempts, I left a call back number and 3 days after I received a call and a new delivery was booked. I explained that I live on the 3rd floor, they told me no issue, they are used to that. Well the delivery men showed but they told me that they can`t deliver because the sideboard is too heavy and they need a third man! I had to leave I don`t know how many voicemails, emails, call back numbers before someone called me and booked another delivery. Guess what, the day prior to the delivery, I didn`t receive the automated message to tell me it will be delivered within the 4 hours timeframe and of course no one calls you back or trying to help. I have submitted a dispute with my bank and requesting to have the sideboard credited + the white glove service fees in their entirety. This is a scam company; they will do anything to prevent you from reaching out to them; that are very fast at cashing in but that have a very problematic customer, sales and after sales service. You have no idea all the frustration that I had to go through due to their lack of responsiveness and due to the fact that you can never talk to someone live!
