We went into the store and talked to Cosimo. He was easy to talk to, explained the pros and cons of different surfaces, and answered all of our questions. As soon as the product was in, we were contacted and scheduled the work to be done. The job was replacing three bedrooms with laminate, however after they pulled up the carpeting, they found two spots that needed to be leveled. This was done quickly and didn't end up adding any time to the job, they actually finished before they said they would be done, even with the extra work that needed to be done to level and grind down the concrete! Cosimo and his crew were excellent to work with and I honestly would encourage you to reach out to them if you are thinking about changing floors OR if you need ideas/suggestions! We are so happy with the quality and efficiency of the work, the communication with Cosimo and his team, and of course, the finished product looks amazing!

Their guys showed up on time. They were courteous. They were respectful of us, and respectful of our home. They asked for our input when they got to a part that required some judgement. They performed mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and drywall work. All done nearly to perfection. And they passed the acid test; after they left, I noticed two small things which I thought could have done better. They returned immediately and made these right. And they sent an invoice almost a week later (giving us an opportunity to discover any other issues, which we did NOT), and the invoice was for the exact amount of the estimate. They accepted my credit card payment over the phone. Our job was a small one, but they have definitely encouraged us to contact them again for our next job - small or large. The problem was management and follow through. I was told at checkout not to move my cart and that help would be sent to load the boxes of tile I purchased. As Edward completed a team meeting at the Pro Desk, I waited, employees and management just watched and I felt extremely uncomfortable. What makes this especially disappointing is that the cashier staff did everything correctly. They offered help, requested assistance over the radio, and set the expectation that support would be provided. Had someone simply communicated that no one was available, I would have handled the situation myself without wasting time or standing there waiting while being ignored. I am sharing this review because my experiences at other Floor & Decor locations have always involved a high level of professionalism and respect for customers' time. At this location, however, it was made very clear that unless you are extremely able bodied be prepared to do everything yourself, please don't expect support, even when it is offered. As both a licensed contractor and a woman, I found it unacceptable to be completely ignored by a room full of employees and management while struggling with heavy materials. I will be avoiding this location entirely moving forward and will instead continue to support other Floor & Decor stores that uphold the level of service the brand is known for.

In less than a month after installation we found numerous fractures in the tile and notified the installer. Due to the amount of tiles that were affected we also notified the manager of the tile shop. The Tile Shop did a review and decided that the issue was due to the underlayment that the installer used. I inform them that we were also finding scratches on the tile and felt that there was something faulty with the tile. The installer claimed that he had never had any issues with any other tiles that he has installed except the ones we had. Ultimately, as the consumer we were caught in the middle with no resolution. We are extremely disappointed with the outcome of our project. We did not want to try to do repairs as we were not confident that we would not have even more issues is the problem involves areas all over our home.

They also provided a professional, accurate, and detailed estimate while clearly telling me what might cost more once they get in there (e.g. leveling the floor). Other companies either gave me really rough verbal estimates or overly specific (& wrong) estimates. Communication with the guys is fantastic. The work was done with the kind of craftsmanship I expected from my meticulous grandpa (that is.. they know what they're doing and do it properly!) The guys work fast, thoroughly, are kind and easy to have around. I had feedback on two small things while they worked.. no problem, they resolved them quickly and without issue. Marin and his team recently finished a project at my home that included new engineered wood flooring, marble tile and small amount of carpeting. Right from the start, this project went extremely well. Jonas was very helpful and knowledgeable about the various products they offered as well as very patient when I changed my mind about the wood I picked out. He got quotes to me very quickly and followed up on every request. Once I decided on the products, Marin and his team did an amazing job and finished the project 3 days ahead of schedule. The tile guy was a real artist. He installed 12"X24" marble tile on my bathroom floors as well as 4'X8" marble tile on my master bathroom wall. Everyone that has seen the work complimented the workmanship. My wood floors are beautiful and the installation was flawless. If Marin was not available when I called him with questions, he got back to me promptly. His team showed up when they said they would and kept the job site very clean. My remodel project is stilling going on, so the picture is not the best. If you are looking for a quality company that goes above and beyond, this should be your choice. read more

Just completed a large job replacing most of the flooring in our 45 yr old home in No. Central PHX. Marin bid the job, and was fair, knowledgeable and competitive. We spent months doing our due diligence before hiring Marin for the job. Big, expensive job - you get the idea. The job was mostly performed by his brother and nephew, and they worked hard and long to complete the job on schedule. They moved furniture, jack-hammered out old tile, chipped out old wood, carefully installed and painted base moldings and laid all the engineered wood. These two guys are special - great attitude, hard workers and they kept the job very clean and well organized. How often do you find hard-working, real craftsman that actually care that you know what's going on, and want you happy every step of the way? We will post on Angie's List as well. Simon and his crew just completed installing 3914 sq ft. of wood flooring in my home and did a gorgeous, phenomenal job! I had previously spent more than two months tideously interviewing and investigating countless flooring companies in the Phoenix area before making the calculated decision to hire European Design Flooring. From commencement date until completion they worked long hours, non-stop, daily. The job required them to fabricate and install flooring over two very difficult "double curved" custom-made steps running across the entire width of a room as well as two flights of custom-designed curved stairs. Many of the other installers had told me they just didn't have the tools or means to do this work but European's team is highly experienced. Everyone who enters my home immediately exclaims "beautiful floor job." After doing an enormous amount of research via the Internet and visiting most of the wood flooring showrooms in town, my husband and I decided to go with European Design Flooring. Perfect decision all the way around! The salesmen worked with us to try and match some preexisting wood and, after brining numerous samples to the house, we picked the closest match. Luckily none of the previous wood floor abut the new but, even if it did, I truly believe no one would notice. That's how well they helped us match our current flooring. The work was executed exactly as expected. The installers we meticulous while working in the various areas of our home and cleaned up each day before leaving. They arrived when scheduled and worked full days until the job was completed. No more carpeting in our 4200 sq ft house and does it ever look good! We moved here from out of state and were unfamiliar with local vendors. We were thrilled when we found European Design Flooring. We interviewed 4 companies -- selecting the right installer is critical for hardwood flooring to ensure a smooth finish and no gaps between boards. Every person that we dealt with was professional. The installers were amazingly meticulous and paid attention to every detail. They installed raw Brazilian cherry floors in our entire upstairs, sanded and finished them, included some angled portions and a custom border in our master bedroom. Not only were we pleased with the workmanship, but other vendors that were working on our home were very impressed. We also used them to do our back staircase and needed their expertise to finish the landing on our main staircase (where we had committed to a stair vendor before meeting European). When I went into their showroom they had a large variety of hard wood flooring, tile, carpet and more. I was a little startled with what to decide on but Jonas helped me narrow down to a couple samples. I took them home and came back the next day to get pricing. They gave me a very fair price. We hired European Design Flooring to refinish our hardwood floors. We've had these in our home for over 15 years and didn't want to put new ones in or replace them with engineered hardwood or laminate. They came over the next day and they gave us a quote along with some advice about what alternatives we have. They hardwood floor refinishing was what we went for, and the whole process was very simple and European Design Flooring really took great care of us. We told Tom that we were anxious to get it done. After speaking for a while we found out Tom was going to celebrate the holiday near our home. He offered to call on Christmas afternoon and if we were available he would come over for a few moments and do the measurements. Tom called Christmas afternoon, stopped by the house and within 10 to 15 minutes he was finished measuring. He said he would email a final cost on the next couple of days. We were initially given an estimate of 2-3 weeks for the project, but the entire thing was completed ahead of schedule in just 10 days. Nick is a true professional. He responds immediately to calls/texts/emails, and he came by multiple times to check on the progress and answer all of our many questions. The team who actually installed the floors was also phenomenal - polite, hard-working, and highly skilled. I have such respect for them! I usually come to these reviews looking for an idea of pricing. After meeting with Nick, my husband and I didn't bother getting an estimate from any other companies. We agreed that even if someone else came back with a lower estimate, we would still go with Toscani because we felt THAT confident about the quality of work and the high level of service we were going to receive. We were right and are so glad we made the decision we did. Our experience with Nick and Toscani Flooring has set the bar almost impossibly high for other companies. I picked two colors I liked from the warehouse and was given nice large samples to take home to decide. Cody came to measure within a few days and the price was very fair and they could schedule quicker than I could even be ready. The carpet installation team, Christian and Jesus, were friendly, efficient, paid attention to detail, cleaned up everything, and did an excellent job and we couldn't be happier with our new carpet. He worked tirelessly to find the perfect color match to my existing floor (he has great connections). Very friendly and respectful of my home, pets, and family. Great communication.
