Brad travels to the High Point Furniture Market once a year and makes the rounds until he finds a really great selection for his store. I still have my first mattress from Jax Mattress in my spare bedroom and I still love it. The time had come to replace my old King size mattress. I was pretty excited to shop for a new mattress because of all the new styles. I was torn between the new hydrid Reflection mattress from the Bed Boss or a more traditional pillow top from Jamison which is exclusive to Marriott Hotels. After trying out several others and looking at reviews I decided on the Marriott mattress by Jamison. I also bought a comfy Bamboo set of sheets, a bed frame, box springs and mattress protector. I got all this and delivery for less than the price of the mattress only at other stores. Not sure how he keeps the prices so reasonable and the quality so great but after three years I'm back and Jax Mattress is going strong!

I called ahead to ask a few preliminary questions and Glen answered all of them with enthusiasm and clarity. So far so good. We visited the store that afternoon and Glen greeted us with a glowing smile and a hardy handshake. He began by asking a few questions to help him select 5 mattress set that would best satisfy our expectations. As we tested each set, Glen provided meaningful additional details about each one that demonstrated his vast knowledge and experience in the mattress industry. I kind of went in knowing what I was looking for anyway and did find a small foot rest that sort of matched my black leather couch with the cushion attached with velcro. The price was $50--which I was not willing to spend that day. The shelf was a bust, but they did have a decent selection of bed frames, mattresses, tables, chair and couches on the sales floor. Waking up daily feeling like you was hit by a bus & all your pressure points are screaming and you have to take 10 mins just to get up out of bed and hurt all day and have to use pain patches, rollers, sprays, meds, ice/heat pads, Epsom salt baths DAILY. I came in for over a 8 month period sampling mattresses. I tried every bed only being able to try a few each day, because my back would start to shoot pain and aching so I wouldn't be able to choose because of how bad my pain was. They have a one trade out policy if you don't like the mattress you purchased. I had others who helped with my prior 2 purchases they were great as well, but when I got them home to sleep 1st way to soft, 2nd way to firm and she worked with me with a 3rd and I went thru the whole process again and tested beds. I came multiple times throughout the weeks to test beds and she found me the perfect bed! She explained each bed with details and comfort levels and why THIS mattress would be perfect! Stating my body was aligned with the mattress and spine was level and people with curves this mattress hugged to those heavier areas but still kept you aligned. Today is the FIRST day ever since finding out in 2003 about my Fibromyalgia that I was able to sleep throughout the night not tossing and turning, not shoving pillows around me, and under me to relieve pressure points, to being able to wakeup without ONE throbbing/sharp pain pressure point screaming. Why not give them a shot? I saw one I liked online and went over to the warehouse to check it out. The place is huge and hot. Up the ramp and immediately to the right is the clearance area so I strolled in to see what they had. Most of it were damaged furniture marked down but still good enough to use. Unfortunately they didn't have anything I wanted. So I made a beeline to the dining room furniture and saw the set I wanted. A friendly salesman came by and asked if I've been helped. I told him no but I knew exactly what I wanted. I showed him the table and we went to the front to checkout. Him stated that the floor model was the last one they had and would I have a problem with that. No assembly? Shoot, easy for me. He told me the guys would disassemble it if they need to get it inside. Cool beans. He told me it would be a few hours before they could deliver it, so go run my errands (I guess I looked like I had stuff to do?) and they would call me. I thanked them and I did run my errands. A few hours later the delivery guys did call me and told me they were on their way. They arrived when they said they would, carried my dining room set up the stairs and in my apartment. If you're in a pinch for furniture, you should definitely check these guys out.
