This was my first time visiting World Market, and I was impressed by how much they have. I ended up buying some plates that felt heavy, well-made, and reasonably priced. They were already showcasing Halloween items at the front of the store, which was fun to see. The store wasn't busy, so I took my time meandering through all the different sections. I especially loved the international food area. It was so cool to see so many countries represented. Prices were pretty good overall, and I appreciated the little clearance sections scattered around. Novelty beer and food also causes an occasional chuckle or smile provides opportunities for a fun pic to post on Yelp. The store is bright and spacious. You can find many different and unique great quality items throughout the store. There is a big furniture sections with artwork, home accessories,rugs and pillows. You can spend a long time looking at the global food section located at the back of the store. There is a large assortment of coffees and teas. They even have samples to try. The food section of the store was my favorite! So many unique items from all over the world. The candy and chocolate displays had me standing there mesmerized. I wanted it all! There was also a fantastic beer section that anyone would love. Lots of interesting snacks too. You can also get jewelry and a few clothing pieces. Something for everyone. World Market is always a fun store to visit- between their extensive wine section to international foods to all the home decor- I love going on the hunt. John actually spotted the store and we both agreed to run in. We ooohhh'd and ahhh'd over various items. John really liked some of their maps hanging art. I loved the African made baskets, but they were pricier than another place I recently bought one from. Still- great fun seeing the different patterns. I found an interesting coat hook that I liked- moon phases! I had to get. They have these mugs with a lid for steeping that I want so badly- I saw them at the World Market at Marsh Landing! But I am holding out for when my kitchen is redone to see how much space I have. We grabbed a couple bottles of Island Grove wine- a Florida made wine that I first discovered years ago at World Market! And a winery I hit up anytime I travel to visit family in the Tampa Bay Area. Thank you World Market for introducing me to them! I love several of their wines and they have new labels- so the wine here was on sale!!! Win- Win!!! My wife asked if we could stop in here on our way to Trader Joe's across the street, because she saw that they had a large artificial plant on sale that she wanted to look at. I figured this would be mostly a delay until I got to eat samples at TJ's, but I went along with it. I was pleasantly surprised! Not only did we walk out with a darn nice artificial plant, but we picked up some awesome hot sauce (bizarrely large selection), some European candy for stocking stuffers, some Belgian beer (huge beer and wine section), and a really fun kids's book for my godson. It was an odd combo of purchases, but somehow it made sense in the context of a place that seems to collate a bunch of interesting things from around the world -- I actually had a really good time walking around looking at the wares. And the prices are in general quite reasonable! Special shoutout to the cashier who was super helpful in helping us sign up for the rewards program and get a 15% coupon to use as we were standing right there at the register, which was much appreciated when we were buying a pretty expensive plant. They have an eclectic collection so pretty much anyone could find something. They have so many types of kitchen wares. They have utensils, pots, pans, bakeware, stemware, glasses, spatulas and also different plates, bowls and serving ware. You can honestly come back time and time again and find something new each visit. They have lots of décor items such as baskets, curtains, shower curtains, baskets, artwork and more. Wonderful experience! Whatever you pay the staff.... I promise you that it's not enough! Melody and the manager (sorry forgot her name), helped me so much. I went in to browse the clearance patio furniture. Although I was indecisive at times, they had the patience of Job. I wanted one set but then decided on one chair and I wanted a second chair but it was not in the store, so we had to call and look for another chair at ehe closest locations and hold said chair there. All in all great experience and I was able to get a great deal on great quality patio furniture. read more

My daughters and I love shopping at World Market. There are so many fun and interesting things in every corner. Of it weren't for my husband being there, we probably would have shopped for a couple hours. I can't imagine more of a disorganized place to have candy. I was able to take all of the fizzy wizards and blinker dinkers and put them in the back of my jeans and then to hide everything the staff was totally OK with me putting all the candy inside of a drawer set. I took the drawers to check out and they let me take all of the fizzy wizards even though I had around 50 or 60 coming out of my pockets. Just for fun I walked back in there and I took all the KitKat bars and the manager started yelling at me but then I said, "Katie too bad these are my candy bars." I probably walked out with $300 worth of merchandise by the end of the evening. Nobody did anything to stop me and at the end of the day I pooped in a bag and threw it straight through the window and no one did a thing. Best service ever! We were at Trader Joe's across the street and decided to pop by and see if we could pick something up at World Market. We didn't know that they only did curbside pick up from noon to 6pm. I stood by the door and was about to call them to see if could place a phone order but the staff came out to see if she could help me. As it was another hour and a half to noon, we thought that we'd call and pick up a different day. But she was so nice and offered to pick the items up for us. We wanted "natural" chocolate and regular (non-sugar free) raspberry Torani Italian syrup. She picked up the correct items (trust me, delivery services have gotten us the wrong items before), and let us pay by credit card. She also asked for our membership number. Nice store with unusual items from around the world! Not only clothes, jewelry, kitchen wares but foods, wines and beers! We were just looking to find stocking stuffers and did find truffle oil for cooking, basting, sautéing in or to use for bread, pasta, etc.! But I love looking at the different foods.. so many things from everywhere! In the kitchen area they had lovely olive wood bowls so dramatic and finely sanded for just $20... who can I give it too (I already have one I got in Italy)?! So I came here for one thing and one thing only. Clearly Canadian. That oh so nostalgic 90s favorite sparkling water. I knew from shopping around online that they carried it and it wasn't going to be a rip-off like Amazon. I found that, and so much more. Left with a few really good finds and some impulse purchases. All food rated. Didn't even have a chance to really look at home good or kitchen area. Hit up the food and the clearance and got out of there. Didn't want to spend all of my money! This is a great store to get all kinds of unusual knick knacks for the house, gourmet foods and drinks to construct a macked out gift basket or if you are looking for some uniquely styled furniture in dark woods, this is definitely a fun place to peruse! It doesn't seem as if the furniture here is high end stuff, but there is some low to moderate priced furniture that would be great for good looking, less-practical usage. The higher priced furnishings seem a bit sturdier. But this is a fun store to peruse as they have a little smattering of a lot of different and unique items from around the world and the inventory seems to switch up every other month or so to introduce new promotional elements for the store. Man I love World Market! While some of the prices are a bit much, it's fun to just look around at all of the pretty things, and sometimes you can find a great deal. I am signed up for their Explorer awards... and my last visit got me 25% off my entire purchase! Score! When I was living in Ormond Beach, World Market was one of the only places in town that had a great craft beer selection. While Jax is different, and definitely a force to be reckoned with on the beer scene, World Market still carries a nice variety of beers you won't be able to find at your local grocery.... and also has a great wine selection as well. From gifts, to curtains, furniture, ethnic foods, to wrapping paper, paper lanterns, to dishes, this place has a great eclectic mix of items, sure to fit anyone on your gift list (or for yourself.) I love the coffee and tea selections, and you can find some really awesome and unique jewelry and scarves too. We still use our espresso cup set from here and it's held up very well! Most things are handmade and imports, so if that is your thing and you've never been here, head on over that way. What a wonderful place. Clean and vibrant with a friendly staff. I admit the premise is a bit weird. Furniture, table settings, wine, and exotic food all under one roof. It seems to be working, though. If I had to compare it to another store Pier 1 Imports comes close. World Market has a nice selection of foreign foods. I found myself lost (in a good way) browsing the vinegar, salts, spices, and pickled items. Then later buying way more candy than I needed. Well worth the experience of trying new things, not so much worth the price tag though. Admittedly everything has been delicious so far. They also have a large wine selection and some beer. So if that is your thing it's worth checking out, although I think everyone should look around here at least once. read more

I've been coming to this place for decades now in various cities and it's always an experience. As someone who enjoys seeing different and new products it's nice to get different perspectives and see things that are just a little out of the ordinary from conventional things at a local grocery store or big box like Target. Sure there are some products that I'll likely never try, but the fact that they are accessible is nice to know. Prices can go from "Really? You want how much for that?!" to "That's totally fair for what I'm getting" The selection of useful and functional products to purely decretive or kinda useless I find is nice no matter what it is that you are looking for. You can walk in here and get lost browsing for a while so if you need to kill some time this is a great spot to do it as well. This location is well maintained. It's clean and organized well, and I have never had any negative experiences with the staff or anything either. There were plenty of associates around for help and quick to offer assistance. Everyone was busily working. Which is odd lately. Because what I've seen while out and about is a lot of employees chatting and ignoring their responsibilities as well as customers. But I did not see that here. I always love coming to World Market. You never know what you're gonna find or where it might come from! They've got things from all over the world, form food to furniture. They have a good wine selection and snacks from many different countries. Their furniture is pretty nice, some priced above where we'd actually bite, but still nice. Love, love, love this place! Came in to world market and scored some post halloween sales which were pretty awesome. Walked around the new store and it was almost exactly the same as the old location when it was right by Barnes and noble. The store was very clean, organized and sale signs were clearly visible. Most if not all items had price tags on them directly so price checks weren't always warranted. The cashier who checked us out was very friendly and even was willing to give me a coupon to use right then and there but lucky for me I had a good coupon in my email.
