This was 1st and many more visits to come. The moment I first encounter Carmen was with my initial phone call to schedule an appointment. She was extremely nice and warm over the phone. My appointment was set and scheduled for 10/4 at 1 pm. When I walked in I was greeted by my first name and a smile by Carmen. She had this presence about her that wanted me to just hug her, but I didn't want to come off as a weird customer lol. The energy in the environment was soothing. She was professional and knowledgeable. She made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. My facial and massage was amazing. My skin is literally glowing and super soft. She noticed I had a few little chin hairs and offered to wax them for me. I told her that the wax breaks me out. She immediately said, "oh no we don't want that to happen I can just tweeze them". She wasn't persistent about the wax, but more so she genuinely cared about my skin and listened to what I had to say about the wax. Finding Christopher Dean has ended a personal quest for the one person that can do it all! It began with the most thorough, thoughtful, relaxing massage I've ever had and I've had many. Chris litterally dissapears and you are transformed which is how is should be. I was so relaxed and rejuvenated the next day that my co-workers now refer to him at "Magic Hands" and, no worries, he is the ultimate professional. I then made a second appontment for cut and highlights which was a huge leap of faith for me. Chris exceeded my expectations in every way. I hesitate to post this review only because I feel that I've found a hidden jewel but I realize that Chris will always give me his undivided attention. I LOVE that there is no background noise, no rude people talking on their cell phones, no phones ringing and no constant interruptions! The interior location in an aging mixed retail center is a little difficult to get past but well worth the effort. Once inside the atmosphere is ultra modern, clean, professional and calming. Came in on a Groupon for the facial with scalp & foot massage. Chris is both extremely professional and very friendly, really making you feel at ease. He is very attentive and takes his time - no rushing - and makes you very relaxed. Great facial, and the scalp and foot massages were just an extra bonus. The room is quiet and bed beyond comfortable. When I left, I discovered he also did hair and massage. I returned the following month for another facial (just as nice) and also made a hair appointment for keratin, color, and cut. Chris really knew what he was doing and listened to all of my needs. It was a really great experience all around, and I'm happy that I've found someone who I can trust for my hair and face. I've been there four times now and am assuming nothing will change. Great massage and facial! I was a bit early for my appointment with Carmen, this I was greeted by Chris! A very personable young man! Then it was time for my appointment. Carmen warmly greeted me and ushered me into the room. I had a facial, reiki and s full body massage. The natural products that were for the facial made my skin glowing and supple! Carmen explained to me that she has the products made to her specifications. My massage was terrific! Carmen is quite knowledgeable and thorough in her massage technique!
