If you have visited European Wax Center check your credit/debit statements for company fraud. I went in for 2 services in July 2025. I was given a pre paid discount when I left for those 2 services again next month. I never went back for the prepaid visit because I was not happy when I got home an saw the results. In October I noticed a charge on my CC for EWC and called them. On a recorded line Callie at this location explained that the location I went to was shut down and this location took over those client accounts. She looked up my account, and told me that the closed location had issues with unethical practices involving signing clients up for monthly services without their knowledge or by not fully explaining it as monthly. Callie explained they have been getting a lot of calls about this issue and assured me the manager will get it taken care of for me. 8 phone calls later (all recorded) getting the same run around and nothing being done I spoke again to the manager Keri Frank in mid November. She assured me that I should have a check in the mail by Dec 1 and if not email her at the EWC email address she supplied. Dec 15th I reach back out via phone and the location says they have no idea when she may be back in. After months of the run around I got tired of begging for money stolen from my account to be returned. They now refuse to call or email back and even refused to reply to the Better business Bureau. If you deal with this business only use cash. They can't take money without your knowledge or permission with cash. I spoke with Callie and Keri at the Franklin Tennessee location as well as Megan from Hendersonville. Services and fraudulent practices happened at the Antioch Tennessee location. If you have ever been to EXC double check your statements and make sure you were not one of the many that got signed up for things you did not consent to. read more

This location is my go-to (even though there are two other locations way closer to me). They are so friendly, super safe in regards to COVID precautions, easy parking, and most importantly... Kayli Ann works at this location. She is a waxing magician. I've seen many people over the 6 years I've been going exclusively to European Wax Center, locations both in Chicago and the Nashville area. She is hands down the best, and my eyebrows are so thankful for her! They offer wax passes which I have always taken advantage of. You purchase a set number in advance and get a few for free based on the pass you buy. I want to start by saying I have been getting waxed for four years so I am not new to what it entails. Granted, I also went to European after months of not going because of Covid. HOWEVER..... This was the most painful experience of my life. My entire body was sore from clenching up from the pain. She pulled the same strips more than once because she couldn't get them off cleanly the first time. She was sitting nearly on my leg in order to get the leverage she needed. At one point I told her to just stop and I would shave what was left. I later learned from someone who used to work there that they are trained to use larger strips (to save money) and this is why it hurt so much. She didn't leave the room when I was getting dressed afterward, which felt very awkward. And then they gave me the hard sell to buy a package at the end. Which was the last thing I wanted to do since I will NEVER be back. The front desk person also complained about how my aesthetician was so far behind schedule. It was all very unprofessional and I DO NOT recommend. read more

Very pleased with the service here. They are laid back and friendly, and honestly, it's really nice to come to a location that's not as slammed as Green Hills. Plus, although I normally avoid Cool Springs like the plague due to traffic congestion, it's not bad getting here because once you exit I65S, you only have to go through one light. Sandy is my go-to gal here, and she's always smiling and in a good mood, managing to make you believe she's not totally terrorized by yanking the hair off people's nether regions all day long. Had booked a appointment a week early with Brittany for my services been seeing her for years, got there to see that my appointment time and Waxer was changed, didn't realize that a text was sent out yesterday, which I didn't respond too, the front desk was so unprofessional and had no customer service ability to solve the issues, along with a manager that was to busy to deal with the issue. I purchased a wax package recently here at this location. I called 5-4-22 around 12:45 pm to cancel the package and get a credit for the remaining balance. The lady that answered told me i wouldn't get a credit because of the $25 cancellation fee and said she'd have the manager call me. I called right back to leave my name for the manager and told her " you didn't get my name???" And that her tone was rude.. she then hung up on me and proceeded to hang up on me / send me to voicemail each time there after. I eventually called the location in Nashville on Richard jones rd and spoke with a very professional young lady named " Carlie" who was able to help me and gave me a much better experience. In the future I will take the extra drive to the Nashville location before I ever step foot back in " the cool springs location because they are rude and don't value good customer service. read more

One of the lesser quality waxing experiences I have had. From the moment I walked in, the staff were far more interested in selling me products and selling membership packages rather than focusing on providing a good wax job. After explaining and showing the waxer what I wanted, she still waxed in areas that I did not want waxed. She did not listen to anything I said, and continued trying to sell me products. Even when I was paying and walking towards the door, staff was trying to sell. Higher prices for much less attention to detail. It was my first time using European Wax Center. My schedule was pretty full that day with leaving for vacation the next day, therefore I did not want to have to make the hour drive to my usual place. As I get waxed very regularly, I made sure to exfoliate well before my appointment as to get the best wax and avoid any ingrown hair issues. It seemed very..."factory" in there, no frills at all, cold, red and white color scheme. Very much like a "modern" looking doctors office. Perhaps I am just comparing them to my other place with heated tables, soft music and tranquil colors. First they had me scheduled for a totally different service. (Eyebrows instead of a Brazilian...that's kind of hard to mistake.) Luckily I stopped her before she started. She then seemed very hurried about it, which is understandable, since eyebrows are less than a 5 minutes process, and a quality Brazilian usually takes 15-20 minutes. The application and removal of the wax just didn't seem right. They don't use the post wax oil (my other salon does) to soothe, prevent ingrowns and remove any residual wax, (but they will try to sell you a bottle of it when you leave) and they don't give you a mirror or anything for you to check their work when they are finished, which is why I guess I was surprised (SHOCKED actually!) to find lots of black wax left behind after I got home, and no tweezing of stray hairs left behind. After I cleaned myself up, there were 3 VERY noticeable spots (about 15-20 hairs each) that were completely missed. I just tweezed those myself, slightly irritated, but not thinking much if it. Within about 24 hours I started feeling a little stubbly in several places, which I thought was odd. Within 48 hours it was apparent that I was not waxed properly. Nearly half of the area had already started to regrow, as the hairs were just snapped off at the skin instead of being removed from the root. Usually a wax from my other aesthetician will last me a SOLID 3-4 weeks before even a few hairs start to pop up. Many times I have gone up to 7-8 weeks before needing to be waxed again. On day 2 of my vacation, (less than 72 hours after my wax) I actually had to shave, which is what I was trying to avoid. They convince you to make your next appointment when you leave. When I got the reminder email yesterday, I called to let them know that I would not be coming in, and nicely explained to them why. I was told that they had a 3 day "touch up" policy, but as I let them know, I was on vacation within 24 hours of my visit, that would have done me no good anyway. No real remorse or anything, just a general, passive "sorry, you should have called us. OK, bye." as if they get these type of calls frequently throughout the day. I wasn't expecting a freebie or anything, but working in customer service, much of the time in a salon, I guess I thought they could have offered a little discount to try again if they thought it was a fluke that I was poorly waxed and were certain that the next experience would be better. I guess not. The turn over there is high, which I guess means having regular, loyal, long term clients aren't a priority. Would have been nice to have a new aesthetician just a few minutes away from home instead of driving an hour, but I guess I will keep looking. read more

I was disappointed with this place. Since their prices for eyebrow waxes are more than double the normal price, I expected premium service. Though the location was nice, I felt like I was rushed through and no one was friendly. The person that did my eyebrows didn't asked what I wanted, she just started waxing, and I had to stop her. I had a coupon for a free wax since it was my first time, and on my way out the receptionist made it abundantly clear that I was expected to tip generously. Attention to detail is lacking. I am a guy and I went in to get my back waxed. I get home and a big area of hair down the middle of my back was missed and another area on my shoulders. I also had them do my brows and had to touch them up with teaser myself at home. I do not feel they do a good job with males. I'm really disappointed that I didn't like this place more. I've been a regular at a different salon in Nashville and decided to give this place a try since it was closer to my home and had pretty good reviews. Setting up an appointment online was easy and they were able to get me in really quickly. The front desk staff and my waxer were really nice and I got the fastest wax I've ever had in my life (which when you're doing a Brazilian is a life saver.) That speed, however, came with a price. First, the speed came from the fact that the waxer (Nancy I think) just put a ton of wax all over and pulled it all off in one direction regardless of what direction the hair was growing. Because of that, like other reviewers said, it doesn't actually pull the hair out properly and now a week later I already have significant and patchy regrowth in my bikini area and eye brows. I also had my lip waxed while I was there and the waxer completely missed 1/2 of my lip...not sure how that's even possible. When we were done, there were a ton of missed spots I had to have her cover. She was happy to re-do parts of it but the missed spots were pretty obvious so it just showed a lack of care. Second, because they use the hard wax, they use this powder to make sure the wax doesn't get stuck together and when I left I had powder all over my legs, clothes, feet, etc. I noticed some other people coming out with the same problem. Not a huge deal, but something to know going in. Last, I'll agree with reviewers saying this place was clean but I think there's a way to have a clean facility without being so clinical. The waxing room looked more like a doctor's office than a salon. I feel like my Obgyn's room is more welcoming. Two stars are for the niceness of the staff and low prices. read more
