I hate to do this because the ladies were very sweet, but I truly did not enjoy my experience yesterday getting a Brazilian. No it was not due to the pain (but yes it did hurt). The lady who did my wax was not rude at all but she had no customer service. She spilled wax all over the place including on my leg, she also laid wax directly on my clitoris and then struggled to yank it off. It hurt terribly. I just kept thinking the whole time that maybe she just didn't know techniques to make this process less painful and more efficient because I've received around 7 waxes before (all around vacation) and none of them have felt like this. Also when I told her it was too hot, she did not say a single thing. It was a bit awkward. This is not the profession to be in if you don't have customer service. Edited as I received a text asking for a review....text mentioned my "Wax Specialist" as Kierra. Went in for the "free" first time wax as I've never used this company. Went to the Mansfield, TX location. Not sure what I expected but this wasn't it. When I walked in, three ladies were sitting at the desk, one immediately got up and acted annoyed as she went to the back. The lady at the computer was professional and nice. Fast forward 5 minutes and the "annoyed" acting one comes from the back with a fake smile (yep, she was for me), never introduced herself and then told me to undress from waist down and get up on table. I'm not necessarily modest, but I was expecting something other than strip down and get on table. She did ask if it was my first time and I said yes. The description of the Bikini line says "four finger-widths off the front starting at the natural bikini line and two finger-widths starting from the top"....what I left with is hardly a finger tip on the sides. I know it was a "free" visit and the tech probably didn't make much, but I was prepared to tip heavily to compensate (I tipped but not like I'd planned to). Also, there was a HUGE missed opportunity to upsell as now I'm seeing an upsell would have been at 50% off. She did ask if I wanted her to tweeze the few hairs and I declined as she was not gentle or friendly (even with me attempting to make conversation with her), so I decided I was done. The girls at work had warned me not to go here, but I went anyway since it was "free". Will not return. read more

I'm updating again because, I noticed that my vag is not even waxed completely I'm really upset. Never again!! Well not with Natalie or that location. I'll wait to speak to the manager per the front counter lady. And FYI Ms. Lady that answered the phone this am on 2/15 if patches of hair grows in less than a week that's a problem. When the waxers tell meMy hair doesn't grow like that and 6 weeks is when I should be coming back. Not less than a WEEK MA'AM!!! Best tip: if you've never been to european wax before, your first service is free!! Yes, this means your first Brazilian is free if you've never been to european wax center before. (And then you'll get hooked because you'll love it!!) And they also have a referral program, for every friend you refer you get $10 credit !! So refer away! You can purchase services a la carte or there's different packages you can purchase. There's payment plans that are offered as well if you prefer not to pay it all up front. I am super happy that they finally opened a location in Mansfield. The other locations (especially the one in Arlington highlands) that I have been to are always packed/booked/located in busy areas where parking might be a bit annoying. I normally go to Katie and she's super awesome, gentle and makes everything comfortable. She pays attention to details and does the breathing exercise with you while doing your Brazilian to make it a little easier ( lol). She genuinely cares and always gives good feedback and tips to ensure your getting the most out of your waxes outcomes. And only recommends products she truly believes you'll need. She'll never push you to purchase any products! I've always had a good experience coming here. There was only one incident thing that happened some time ago that made me mad. I had an appt booked at 6:15 with a specific person. I showed up and the lady that checked me in proceed to tell me that they change me to a different waxer and then told me my appointment was actually at 6:30. It would have been nice if they had notify me ahead of time if they were changing my waxer (like... what if I didnt want that person they changed me to??? It made me uncomfortable...and caught off guard) ... I also let the person that checked me in know that when I verified my appt when they called me, my appt was for 6:15, not 6:30.. but she was like " ... no it says on here it's at 6:30." So I'm like... ok whatever no big deal 15 mins...nothing I can do about it now but wait. But you know that feeling when someone gives you the " you're lying" look? Hate that she gave me that look when I know forsure what time I originally made my appt.. so my frustration came from them changing my wax person without notifying me or asking me first if it was ok.. and the time being mixed up. 6:30 finally rolls around and another client walks in to say " hi I'm here for my 6:30 appt!" only to be told, "actually it says here your appt is at 6:45" urgh!!! So!!! Whoever the eff made those changes, not only changed waxers but also screwed up our scheduled times.. like it's 15min difference, yes..but our time is just as valuable.. and its inconvienent!! For everyone! So please when you make changes like transferring clients to another waxer for whatever the reason may be (person called in sick/quit), it would be nice to notify the clients of changes.. And def triple check that the times are right....please. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. My first wax there went fine, no problems it was fast and relatively painless. Of course on my way out the door I got the sales pitch of prepay your waxes and it'll be cheaper in the long run blablabla. As someone who waxes every month I signed up. Huge mistake. Don't do it. My second wax was scheduled for 6/13/22 for 1:30pm and I got an email AND voicemail confirming my appt the next day. I show up and nobody is available to do my wax. I had already taken the day off work and driven 25 minutes and couldn't reschedule for another day. I had to wait an hour for another wax tech to become available. No phone call, no warning. My third wax was today at 3:45pm, I got an email yesterday confirming my wax again. I was having lunch with my family and I saw I had a missed call from the European Wax Center at 1:10pm but no voicemail. I returned their phone call at 1:33, 23 minutes later and no one picked up and left a voicemail. I called again at 2:04 because I was starting to get suspicious and nervous. Again no call. I got to the European Wax Center at 3:35 and completed dark and doors are locked. I waited ten minutes past my appt time and nobody came, no sign on the door, phone call, txt, or email. This place is the worst, BEWARE, their customer service is the worst once they have your money. Now I'm reaching out to my bank to see what my options are because they are a very shady business who do not keep their appointments. Natalie is the girl to go to! I've been to 3 different locations since I've been a member at EWC (since 2015!). In almost 3 years of going to EWC, she has been the most professional, efficient, and clean (no leftover wax on me). Also, since becoming a regular in 2015, I have never felt pressured to get a service or buy a product. They have great packages, and if you go regularly, it makes sense to get one or more. It saves you money in the long run. However, the customer service doesn't change if you don't get a package or product. They have always treated everyone with respect and courtesy in my experience. I had my scheduled appointment on 5/10/23 for which i thought was scheduled for 4:30pm but upon check in the receptionist advised that it was at 4:15pm but ask me to hold a second . I was completely okay with rescheduling for another day or time but she's a sweet heart and just went ahead and got me in . Esthetician Amy came out and called me to the back and in the mist of that she asked the receptionist " So is this going to take over my break " in which the receptionist responded no . okay we go into her room and she didn't say a word to me .. I literally had to ask are your ready for me to uncloth from the waste down & where do I put my clothes ??? all she respond was yes . cool .. I then laid on the table and she just got straight to the point . the wax was SO HOT !! like burning my skin hot and when I told her it was hot she just went back to the pot and stirred the wax .. im thinking to myself like ok whatever . she then proceeded and she's being so rough even after i made her aware that i was 6 wks postpartum with an incision . leaving a review makes me mad all over again it was my worse experience ever . she didn't talk me thru anything . she would put the wax on there & don't even pat it a little to make sure it's dry before she pulled it . she would pull it and not place her hand on the area to you know try to help ease the pain after the pull .. it was so intense that i asked " are you not having a good day " & her response was " it seem like im not have a good day ?" and which I responded " it just doesn't seem like you want to be here today " ... no reply after she was " done " it was literally TENDER TO TOUCH !! which she knew and wiped hard with cleanser . i got up , paid & as soon as I got home i examined myself and results proved that she was IN FACT upset that she had to service me or wasn't having a good day . the hair that was left I could literally look down and see it then when i used a mirror to see it was more in between places . i can't believe this experience really . i only rated 2 stars because of the receptionist , she's always so nice and this was my first time with Amy but I'll never return to European again because of this . read more

This waxing experience is so much better than traditional muslin strip waxing. I have very sensitive skin & traditional waxing leaves me red, swollen, & uncomfortable. EWC uses a different type of wax that's much gentler & causes virtually no irritation. My underarms are a bit red for about 30 minutes after, but that's it, no pain, no swelling. I've seen a few different technicians here. Hailey is by far the best I've encountered. She's very efficient,detailed & clean. No leftover wax on the skin, removes small hairs by hand, and listens to your concerns. I bought a wax pass & will continue to request her whenever I can! read more

I haven't got a wax in a while so I understand the pain level will be more intense. However my waxer she was very nice but new. It was actually her first day. The wax was hot. I believe if I had an experienced waxer my experience would have been less painful, there were several passes with the wax and my skin is now irritated. I love this location but this is by far my worse experience and I have been waxing for 3 years. The waxer really cause discomfort for me on the lip part I just honestly believe it was lack of experience. I do understand that is the only way to experience. read more
