Would not recommend. I've been to this location several times because it is the closest so it's convenient. However the service has never been great. There has always been an issue, mainly with the quality of waxing. I have been to different places in the past but honestly this place had to be the nicest of them all. Aesthetically this place is super nice and clean. Great for privacy, which I liked. My friend and I walked in and waited a very short time to be helped. They gave me a discount for being there my first time and Whitney was very nice and gentle. Technicians are great the attendant at the front desk was very rude. The front desk attendant publicly and rudely complained to my daughter about responding to texts and updating "card on file". My daughter explained she thought the texts were automated and the attendant continued the confrontation. I went to European Wax Center in Pinecrest on 2/29/24 for an upper and lower lip wax, which I had not done before. The technician was very nice, but when she finished the upper lip , she realized there was a problem, and she asked if I use retinol products, which I do. Apparently, prior to seeing her, the staff was supposed to ask certain questions, which they did not, one being if I use retinol products. The wax removal caused my skin to become raw and extremely red, and she had to apply a burn cream. The skin above my upper lip is currently peeling . Although the technician was extremely nice, the staff needs to be reminded of how important it is to ask about product usage. read more

First thing I did was Yelp and see what the reviews were for this specific location and it had great reviews. Immediately I went on the site and booked, thank gosh they had availability the SAME DAY! I was in luck. FYI - you get your first wax free! (What more could you ask for?) I went in for a eyebrow and lip wax, when I first walked in I was greeted by this very nice young lady I wish I knew her name to add to the review. She was very friendly and explained everything, she also gave me a bag of goodies! She was great, very pleasurable. Now on to the waxing, it was great. Roughly 2 years ago I started looking around for places near by that had good reviews regarding waxing services and I lucked up on EWC. There are several locations here and I ride past this particular one often, but I'd never gone in to ask any questions, look around, or have any services done. However, after reading through the reviews I decided to give this place a try. I made my reservation online and was reminded the day prior. When I arrived, I was greeted by 2 nice young ladies and every day after my initial visit was pretty much the same. The facility is also clean on a consistent basis. My aesthetician was Stacie H. Some people are nudist or just plain old comfortable in their skin, but I am shy (covers eyes). Stacie made me feel comfortable and somehow during the process I forgot that I had my lady part exposed. Her technique/skills also ensured that I experience little pain. I would highly recommend her the only problem is that she no longer works there. I've always loved this place. Anytime I have an event coming up, I just pop in and pay less than $15 to get my eyebrows done. They always manage to get me in as a walk-in appointment, even on weekends, sometimes I'll just have to wait for a few minutes. They really do a spectacular job. European wax center is definitely all about the experience. I've been coming to this location for over a year now and Rio has completely transformed my eyebrows. When I first came in my eyebrows were thin and uneven, but now they're full and perfectly arched. I've learned the importance of returning to the same person and not just jumping around to any near by salon. Rio methodically left hair in certain places so that I would have eyebrows I've always wanted. Another plus is that the wax is basically pain free...they dont use cloth or paper strips either. I purchased an unlimited brow package for $250 that was broken down in to 4 payments and now I can go in for an eyebrow wax whenever I want to - messy brows, never again! EWC also has many products in store for sale and honestly they are all worth it and work great. They can be pricey, so look out for promotions! Love them and recommend them to everyone. I'm disappointed with your site. I tried calling to make an appointment. Sat on hold for a very long time. Was eventually told that the person at extension blah, blah, blah wasn't available and that their mailbox was full. Was disconnected. So, fine, I'll book it myself online. Check all necessary boxes. When it comes to logging in I try to create a new account. It won't let me. It only wants me to sign in with Facebook. I don't want to sign in with Facebook. I go back. Start over. Try to create an account. I try to hit the icons to enter my information. It won't let me. It keeps redirecting me to Facebook. So I guess if you're a new client there is no way to make a reservation because no one is going to answer the phone and you cannot make a reservation online unless you want to give away all of your Facebook information and see endless ads on your page from European waxing. If you've never been to EWC, your first wax is free. You'll need your ID. You could choose from eyebrows, lip, and bikini line. (I believe these are the three you get. Don't quote me) I've been coming here for a couple of years now and I've been coming to the same Waxer for over a year now. I've decided to not be selfish and tell the world about her. (I know I'm a bit extra but hey, if you're not your people's hype man then are you really their people? I think not) Please don't think because I know her and go to her my opinion isn't valid because of the history. I don't sit here and brag for anyone that isn't good. Like everything in life, you have to try it a few times to know exactly what you like and how you like it. For some the fortunate ones, they hit it head on the first time and for others, well, you have to keep trying and I feel that's how it is when you get wax. Everyone there does a good job. You just have to find the one that does the perfect job for you. Jessica hands down is the BEST of the BEST at what she does. (Pinecrest Location) She will make sure you're comfortable and will talk to you while you're in there. She's funny, easy going, an all around great time. She's extremely picky and that's important to me. I like knowing that I won't walk out of there with a chunk of missed hair down there. Get this, she even gets a napkin and damps it to apply right after she pulls off the wax. Like.. who does that? No one that I know of. I would recommend her now and forever. I have bought continuous packages for European Wax Center. Once my packages are completed I will not be coming back. According to their policy, you can not get waxed by two different ones in one day. However, prior to coming to this facility I have been waxed by two wax specialist in the same day. This facility rather lose business than accommodate a guest. I got full frontal waxing and typically at other waxing places I get red bumps afterwards the first few days and the skin is delicate but this is the first time I am actually completely fine! The location close to University station has a women there who is super nice but none of the hair was removed when I checked I didn't say anything to her cuz I'm not like that also I didn't know if every worker there would be the same so I never went back to any location. It is just not worth my time. I am a nurse and I am a full time Mom of a toddler so it is just not worth it to chance it. If you keep trying you will find some one that actually removes your hair. They have places in Atlanta like this too some people remove hair some don't but even when they do remove most of your hair and missed a spot don't be afraid to ask them to wax again that part that still has just a little bit of hair because you can give them a tip. I was nervous coming in because a stranger has never seen me exposed When I walked in, I was greeted and it was very welcoming. I had booked Demi for my Brazilian and she was the sweetest person ever. She made me feel extremely comfortable. She kept talking to me the whole time and tried to distract me. She didn't make me feel uncomfortable about my body and wanted me to have the best experience possible :D I'm not going to lie it did hurt I would rate 7/10.
