I've been to this location before (pre-Covid) and stopped going because it just wasn't the best experience. I decided to try them out again since it's been over a year, and I was not disappointed. My wax specialist, Aimee, was phenomenal. She was patient, well informed, and did her absolute best with each of my services. The front desk staff was great as well as the manager who seemed to be training new staff. After this experience I'd definitely come back again! read more

Honestly, I never leave reviews. I have thought to start and just don't, BUT OMG, I had such a good experience, I thought I have to leave a review. I have not been waxed in like two years! literally pre-baby, and he is 10 months old now. So you guys know what that means for a bikini full, it's like the first time all over again, OUCH. However from start to finish, EWC hooked me up. I specifically asked for someone more seasoned, and they booked me with Buffy. I've asked this before at different locations like in Co and Ca, and still it was whatever. So when you have someone newer, I feel like they forget to do the lip, and then they like have to pull at the hair & skin at the same time to get a good grip to rip it all out, and that mess is uncomfortable, but not Buffy, she did good lips which means she could just grab and pull out. She told me when to breathe and exhale, and told me the most engaging story about her son being in boot camp, I was barely thinking about the fact that I was exposed lol. I am the type to get nervous having my hoo-ha all out in the open on the table, then the added uncomfortableness makes me really clammy, which feels embarrassing, but she was so quick and efficient and always applied pressure after pulling to help with the pain, so I barely got clammy at all. It was done so quickly and efficiently I was pleasantly surprised. And now, I will actually go back and use my passes I bought. I'm telling you, I bought my pass in California in like 2017 maybe 2018, and barely used it, but this experience changed the game for me, I def won't mind going regularly again. Thanks Buffy! Well, it seems my girl friend was satisfied with what she got and with what she was charged. When, she was about to enter the car after leaving, she decided she wanted something else. We re-entered and was told $21.00. After the service was done we attempted to pay the bill and was told 38.00. Yes! Supposedly, she got another service at the first visit and was told she was being charged now. Hah! No way! read more

Had an okay experience.... I got a Brazilian and was waxed multiple times... I mean like 8 times over the same spot. Not really sure if that's how it works? She re-waxed me because she said I had shorter stubborn hairs, but she could've plucked them after maybe like the 4th time with wax?? Anyway, everything was fine over all....until I got home and realized my butthole wasn't completely waxed. I know it's a hard to reach area, but I was told to put my legs up and even spread my cheeks so she made sure she got everything! Not sure what happened? I always have said "the key to happiness is good eyebrows" I think if everyone tried to put their effort and energy into their eyebrows instead of people and things that make them unhappy, the world would know peace. Anyways, I started going here last year. The front desk staff is very welcoming and cheerful. Every time I walk into this place it's like all my stress stays at the door. If I miss an appointment I sometimes feel like death is approaching. I will ONLY see Buffy because well I believe she's the best, however, all the other eyebrow technicians seem great, but they're not Buffy. I also won't let anyone near my eyebrows for any reason if they're not Buffy. I go every 2 weeks and god damn do my eyebrows SLAY! Every time I go back I walk out better than the last time. I think I shed a tear or 2 on 1 or 2 occasions. Your first wax is free. And they offer wax packages that end up saving you $. And for every friend you refer you get $10 added to your account. Another thing I love is they text you Appointment reminders and are very easily reachable via text for those of us who can't stand to engage in simple human contact methods such as using the phone for a phone call. I went to see Alexis R. at the Slidell location, the team there is great! 1. Incredibly knowledgable and so friendly I couldn't have asked for better service. 2. Alexis R. is a wonderful esthetician and is incredibly gentle and actually listens to you. She did a good job on my eyebrows (though I am a little picky, and for my first time with her, she did well on the shape of my eyebrows!) She also waxed my face and underarms beautifully, such a sweetheart. 3. Prices are incredible and they are always looking out for your pocket. I would definitely go here again once I am back in town to visit! read more

Pros: -The staff were nice and so was my waxer. - It didn't hurt as bad as a normal Brazilian. Think they have a better wax formula than most. Cons: -She didn't do as thorough of a job as I'd like--especially for a $60 wax. I shouldn't have to pluck stray hairs myself, especially in the butt area which is the point of a Brazilian. -The complimentary underarm wax was nice but she left a small patch of hair. Overall I felt the job was rushed. I decided to give EW a chance since I was in town and hadn't tried it before. I'll be sticking with my usual wax place back home. read more

This was my first visit to this EWC location. I relocated from San Diego where I regularly waxed every 4 weeks. I've been to only EWCs for the last 4 years--I love this company for cleanliness, reputation and comfort. I can't remember my waxers name (she was pregnant and due any day) but she did a good job. I will say that she left the wax on longer than I'm used to but maybe it was because my hair was being stubborn. She listened to my guidance regarding my c section scar which I appreciated. Overall, not the quickest wax I've ever had (my girl in Cali was the BEST) but kitty left pretty! read more

I have been coming to EWC since October 2017. I have always had a great experience at this center until tonight's visit. My wax specialist is amazing! Jolinda has always made my experience worth my 40 minute drive for these services. The receptionist however was very unprofessional this evening. She held a personal conversation on her cell phone at the time I was ready to check out with questions to upgrade my passes. I went here for a full Brazilian, half leg wax, and an underarm wax. Christina did all my waxing. She was great! Incredibly fast, very knowledgeable and as gentle as one can be when waxing. The manager was very helpful when I first arrived. She educated me on all the products I could take home with me to better extend the life of my waxing and improve my skin. Christina used the products on me so I knew what I was getting before I bought it. I left with 3 products, a super cute free bag, and incredibly smooth skin. DO NOT use them! The facility and people inside are great. But you will be harassed by confirming phone calls and threatening text messages long before you make it to the door! They are constant and full of threats if you don't show ... even when you have a record of showing. No regard for personal standards or like you have anything to do that text confirmations and reservations you've already made. It's stressful and completely unnecessary!!! DO NOT do it!! read more
