    This is gel btw.

They're very overpriced and their work does not match their prices. I asked for a pedicure with gel polish and she literally put too much polish on it it looked a mess. Then I asked for a overlay refill she proceeded to take my nails off and charge me for that. Then she charged me for a whole new overlay set when I clearly asked for a refill. She rushed my nails & when I realized I requested that they be done over all of them. She did them again and blamed it on the dryers not working or whatever it looked a mess still after being there for almost 3 hours i just left. I got home & took a shower & when I got out the gel on my nails had bubbled up. So, the next day I went back and waited 2 hours for them to fix my nails & toes. I got there at 9:40 am and didn't leave until 12:09 pm. Also, they literally cut you repeatedly then say sorry like ....

    Same.

I went to this salon for my first pedicure and this is what happened in the buffing process. I didn't know how bad it was until I got home and saw my heels. I also requested gel polish and did not get the gel polish even though I was shown what I thought were gel colors. I would not go back or recommend.

This is the photo I showed the salon for an example of what I wanted done.

So I brought a picture of what I wanted. Was suppose to be pink into white ombré. Ombré is more money. When I asked why there wasn't pink they admitted to using the wrong dip powder. I was still charged for the ombré, $78 + tip for ombré dip and just French paint on my toes (no pedicure) because I was short on time. They offered to fix them but said it'd be another 20 minutes to fix. I had a sitter watching my kids so I was unable to devote anymore time after already being there for 2 hrs. I can never find a nail salon to come close to any pic I show and I'm not showing pictures of anything difficult. ‍

This is the picture I showed them to imitate.

Very swanky place. Very clean..... but be ready to shell out some serious cash to get any service done here! Upcharge is the name of their game here. BEWARE!! I've searched high and low around for a decent nail spa that offers what my "home" nail salon does in TX. I got the classic pedicure and a full set of dipped nails. Pedicure was exactly as you expect, no frills there, but I also didn't pay the extra cash to get frills. I also got a full set of dipped acrylic nails. Which was $5 more than I'm used to paying (at a comparable salon) which was fine (I guess). However, it's extra if you want ANYTHING else. Want to keep them a little long? $5. Want that cute shape? $5 One nail different color/design? $5+ They even have nice little signs all over for the "extra services" you can add on... extra massage $12... etc. While I understand that it's perfectly acceptable to pay for extra services... but to file my nail into a different shape? Really? When you'll already be filing them anyway? And it wasn't even done right!! I still went home and filed them myself into the shape I wanted. (For the record I wanted a little more of a rounded-less square tip. Not even that crazy...) I certainly do not mind paying extra for services that are above and beyond, this place starts expensive and you will be Nickle-&-Dimed to death if you don't watch out.

    Cut on pinkie nail

My friends and I went to this nail salon at around 6:20 ten minutes before they closed. They were rushing us and very rude. They were not gentle and cut her cuticle then proceeded to use nail polish remover on her open wound. She did the French tip horrible. It is not clear how it is supposed to be and she did not clean up the edges at all. There's acrylic on her fingers and nail polish , very unprofessional. My point is if they did not want to take customers they could have just said so when we walked in the door instead of doing a half ass job like this.

Came in for a pedicure. Love the environment. Very friendly and entertaining but the pedicure was good. I got the basic jelly pedi.

She didn't make small talk during the facial which I was ok with but I have no clue what she was doing or putting on my face which since it was my first time, I would have liked to know what was happening/going on my face. Still an enjoyable experience. The receptionist (blonde with glasses) however was the down fall. When I got there, the two ladies behind the counter seemed bored and were playing on their phones. When I gave my paperwork, she kept her back to me and said "all done? Ok, just a minute" because she was too busy scrolling through Facebook to turn and talk to me then took a few minutes to actually help me. After my appointment, I came out and she said "you're all done unless you want to leave a tip." Which of course I planned to do, I left a little over 25% of the regular price of the facial (not the Groupon price I paid). When I handed it to the receptionist she said "that's it?.." which really rubbed me the wrong way. I was not given any follow up treatments or suggestions. I won't be returning to this place solely based on how the receptionist made me feel. Edit: The manager has since called, apologized and offered for me to try them again which I appreciate.

The girl that did my facial was really nice and did a consultation before touching my skin. She mentioned that she didn't have the steam on because it takes 30mins to get it going (not sure what that meant) she used a warm towel instead. I'm not trying to bash them, but usually at other spas, especially at the Woodhouse, they massage shoulders, hand and feet while they are waiting for the mask to do it's thing. The first set of mask I just laid there for about 10mins, I had to actually asked how much longer I had to lay there with the towel. I could do that at home myself, do a mask, put a warm towel and lay in my bed for 10mins. The second time around, she put something that had aloe Vera that felt amazing!!! And then she did a brief shoulders massage. I'm not sure what every establishment does when they just have their customers lay there while the mask is doing its work. But I've seen other customers in other sites rave about the scalp, hand and foot massage they got during their facial. That's what I was expecting, because that's what the Woodhouse does and many other spas I've been too. Is it because I purchased a Groupon and didn't pay a full price??? Is the massage something I should not expected at this spa? Or just certain people have gotten lucky?
