I'm out $77.00 and will no longer shop famous footwear thanks to Brian. Our last visit for a pair of boots I tried on and decided to purchase, suddenly became the wrong size at the register?! He then told me he couldn't find the pair I tried on. It was almost closing time and no other customers in the store so the boots should have still been wherever he left them but he told me he couldn't find them. Then to not receive the rightful credit for my returns was more than I could accept. Took my business elsewhere and this dude is no longer a credit to this biz! Why the drastic change I'll never understand. Their loss too!$$$$$!

I walk straight to the back and peruse the clearance and then slowly wander the rows up front to see the plethora of stock. I love the variety and the brands they carry for women. I admit, men do not have the same variety but this is not my demographic. I want to specifically call out the store on 41 in Fort Myers. Some out of town business associates took my advice and went into DSW yesterday. The store was closing right at the same time as a typical evening monsoon was roaring through Fort Myers. The out of town guests were staying across the road and could not walk through the weather back to the hotel. After attempting to call a taxi and the hotel shuttle, they were faced with the trek across the street. The store associates kindly offered them a ride (it took 2 cars) and they made it back to the hotel nice and dry. Amazing. I already loved DSW - now, I am a fan for life.

They quoted me $45 to repair the shoes (bottoms and heels) and $20 to repair the broken luggage handle. I thought the prices were acceptable. They require payment in advance. I was told they would be ready for pick up the following Thursday. I thought that was a long time for the repairs but took the holiday weekend into account. I asked what time of day and they said in the afternoon. Unfortunately, they were not ready when I arrived the following Thursday afternoon. I picked them up on Friday and they did a good job. My husband is happy with the shoes and the luggage is once again useable. This would have been an easy 4 Star review if the job had been finished when expected or they had called to let me know it wasn't ready before I made the unnecessary trip.
