This is a small little true gift shop with beautiful eclectic items from jewelry, giftware, art and clothes. I bought a couple of things to bring home for friends. The staff member was super friendly and even packaged my items for travel. I wasn't sure if it was the owner but she was definitely welcoming. The price of the items were also very reasonable and I will definitely be going to this store again.

I was unsure of how worthwhile stopping at a citrus market place would be, but we had some time to kill and Sun Harvest Citrus ended up being such a good find! There's plenty of parking. As we walked up to enter the market, everyone (and I mean EVERYONE) was eating ice cream from here. These people got the memo - the ice cream is where it's at! They also have a juice bar in the back where you can sample the fresh juices. I don't even like orange juice and even I found the cranberry orange and strawberry orange juices to be sweet, delicious, and refreshing - the perfect treat in the Florida heat. They had other flavors like grapefruit juice, classic orange juice, tropical orange (pineapple), and a peach orange. Juices are available by the half gallon and single bottles. They even had a chips and salsa sample which is also made fresh. We grabbed some local tasty treats as souvenirs - popcorn, salt water taffy, jerky, coffee, cookies, etc. They also have homemade key lime pie - available by the whole pie, half, and slice. And of course, we had to get the ice cream! I got the orange dreamsicle cone, which is their orange soft serve and vanilla swirled together. Great flavor, great texture - no complaints! There was also a key lime flavor (also delicious) in addition to more classic flavors. They have three sizes - kiddie, single, and jumbo. The kiddie size was the perfect little pick-me-up treat. You can also get fresh juices and other bakery items. We found a coupon in one of our Florida brochures for the ice cream which they honored without issue. We also saw a coupon for the big bottles of juice. There's a couple tables inside and additional benches and tables outside to sit and enjoy your goods. Sun Harvest Citrus did not disappoint! It was a nice pit stop.

Parking wasn't bad and if you're looking for a souvenir from Florida then this is the place to go and you can definitely spot where you are by driving down the road and seeing a big metal orange. This place is full of souvenirs to potentially bring back: spices salt, and pepper, shakers, alligator jerky, Florida, popcorn, coconut candies,etc. I love that you can have samples of the juices before buying. They even had some salsa and chip samples. They are shown to have a coupon in the touristy maps and guides. One where you can use to actually get a discount on your ice cream. I ordered the dreamsicle which is the most popular, but I didn't have a chance to look at the sizes and after ordering realized that the lady, I just put me in for the regular size which was too much sugar for me. If it does, though she was kind of rushing me which I didn't love. Also, if you're wanting to use the coupon, you have to have your own copy and cut it out/rip it out. And it's also one per order. I also ordered the Keylime pie. I like the filling. It had a very much coconut flavor probably because they use more coconut milk, but their crust on it was not very good. The cream score was actually pretty good. It was a hot day so it melted pretty quickly, but I liked the orange thing that it had and balanced with the vanilla.

It has the typical touristy souvenirs that I love...nothing that I needed but things I loved to look at. There were a few bags of prepackaged shells that my Dad picked up and said "I'll just buy these and save us the trip to the beach!" If I'd known we wouldn't get to the beach until high tide, I might have taken him up on this. Tuttle's is located on the lighthouse end of the island...it seems less traffic-y than some of the main parts of town and so I think it would be worth a drive to stop in. If I had more people on my list that wanted a Sanibel gift, this is a great place!

We walked into the door with our 5 and 9 year old and the moment we walked in the man, who was disheveled and appeared to be wearing pajamas said "this isn't a place for children, keep your hands off." Mind you we were barely in the door. Just after this my 16 year old niece was in there buying two postcards and when she pulled out her credit card, he with an attitude, actually ripped the postcards out of her hands and said "I don't charge two dollars," which she didn't even understand initially since he couldn't bring himself to mutter more than five words of explanation. He also had not actually told her the total and there was no price marked on the postcards. Once she realized he meant that she needed to pay cash instead of card, she pulled out cash and paid for the postcards, although she should have just walked out. We live on the island and have been here several times. We have been lucky enough to have his female employee, who is very kind, help us in the past. Needless to say, after experiencing the owners behavior we will never be back.

I tried taking a selfie and the owner offered to take a real picture for me. How thoughtful! The store is a bit bigger than most shops and the better of the merchandise are the t-shirts and sweatshirts. They were of better design and quality without being too expensive. By better design, I mean the shirts were not cheesy or super touristy. It does not look like you got the shirt at a giveaway. The designs and cuts were just enough to say casual beach wear and if you wanted to stock up for gift giving it won't break the bank. There are shells to buy in the back of the store as well. Sand dollars were in good condition and they have a good variety of smaller colorful shells too. Good people working there as I was not pressured to buy something. The store has a beachy, laid back vibe. I talked to the lady working here and she told me they moved the store to downtown Fort Meyers area recently. They initially had a store on the artsy Matlacha island but it got destroyed by hurricane Ian so they relocated here. I wish I would have gone to Matlacha art village but this store brings a bit of that world to you and to everyone in Fort Meyers. It is great to see work created by local artists. They have everything from pottery, home decor, paitings, sculptures, souvenirs, jewelry. Various styles, materials used for creating wonderful merchandise. Nice surprise to find this cute store and learn about their story. Great they reinvented themselves and keep supporting local artists.
