Stay away from EVA Electric, they are known for taking your money and not finishing any of the jobs. The more I read, the more people I see been ripped off by this company. Read other reviews on Facebook and next door. They have done this numerous times to many people. HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - A local business owner was arrested Thursday by the South Carolina Department of Revenue after he reportedly failed to pay over $26,000 in withholding taxes, according to a news release. Jorge Borrego, who is the owner of Eva Electric Inc., is charged with three counts of failure to collect, account for or pay withholding tax. According to arrest warrants, Borrego knowingly failed to pay $26,601 in withholding taxes to the state. The taxes were withheld from Eva Electric Inc. employee wages from 2015 to 2017, the release states. Borrego, 44, is currently being held at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center pending a bond hearing. If convicted, he faces fines up to $10,000 and/or up to five years in prison per charge. read more

Our power went out in the bathroom and hallway. Went to Yelp for a recommendation, EVA was well recommended so I called, a person answered and said someone would be there soon. Primo and Moe came right by and completely and competently fixed a loose connection in two locations and a failed GFI receptacle. The cost was fair. Thanks EVA Electric! read more

A friend reccomended this company to me when I was looking for someone to run power to a building. They were very fair, honest, easy to work with. He came in thousands less than another major company who quoted me. The other company even told me I had to do all these upgrades and Eva Electric came out and told me the truth. He could of said yeah the other company was right, you need all this other stuff done, but he was honest and saved me thousands. He seems to love his job, very knowledgeable. Great experience with EVA! Arrived to our condo to find most of our electricity was out! Since it's in an old building we were worried the cost would be out of control! These are the most professional electricians I have ever worked with in my life and I have bought several properties that need electrical work. The ease of the online scheduling and guarantee process let me sleep peacefully knowing I would not get a phone call that somebody could not make it an hour before which is happened with other places in the past. I went online I scheduled my appointment Jorge showed up and was professional and gave me a great reasonable quote with extremely fast turnaround time. They showed up on time put up exactly what I needed installed exactly what I needed and left my house clean And the work was perfect. Finding a Great! Electrician is difficult look no further hire EVA for any and all electrical needs y'all get professional courteous caring workers. Do you need a good electrician ? Call Jorge at eva electric. They are fast, good and extremely reasonably priced. Not to mention they are good people. I've been trying to find a decent electrician that would show up when scheduled for a year. Eva is all that and more. Constant communication with me, prices a third of all the big boys and corporations.
