Today we took a tour to The Cotswolds. This was the only tour we booked during our 2 week stay in London and I was nervous about being on a bus all day as I tend to get pretty car sick. I arrived over an hour ahead of our call time to be able to get on the bus early and sit close to the front. Our driver was Grahame and he was very smooth, navigating the traffic effortlessly. I never once felt sick due in large part to his skillful driving. But, back to our guide, Manon. Her knowledge, humor and professionalism made our day super special. So glad we booked our tour to Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Bath. We learned so much from our tour guide, Kevin. He was knowledgeable, funny and kind. He made an entire day feel like it wasn't enough by sharing really interesting facts and stories that tied into our trip out of the city. If you are not able to make the bath tour or you're pressed on time, I recommend visiting the pump room which will give you access to the springs and fountain where you can taste the water. We did the Windsor Castle, Oxford, and Stonehedge tours. The tour guide was knowledgeable, but if you are looking for that English experience with an English tour guide, go somewhere else. We had less than an hour at Windsor Castle. We had a reasonable amount of time at Oxford. You mainly see the buildings in which HR students live, though they are all closed to the public. The town was unique. Then, Stonehedge, we had more than enough time. We also did a tour on The English bus on this trip- I would use them over Evans. read more

The early access inner circle Stonehenge + Windsor tour was exactly what we'd hoped! The early morning start got us to Stonehenge before public access hours and Simon even threw in some bits of information about London while on the bus on the way out of town. The private inner circle Stonehenge time was breathtaking. Both our Evan Evans guide Simon and a Stonehenge expert Wendy provided ample information, along with plenty of time to wander, take in the majesty of the site, and take lots of photos. After time to grab a snack and browse the exhibit, we headed to Windsor on the bus and enjoyed exploring the area. This was a very good tour. Our guide Simon and driver Mike did an excellent job. This tour covers a lot of ground in one day, so there are definitely better ways to see each of these places. If you have limited time, it's a good way to see these three very important and impressive tourist destinations. That said, I have to say it was a disappointing way to see Windsor castle. I never felt more like I was being herded. There was no guide. Also no time to add an audio guide. I was happy to see it, but it would be so much better at a less busy time and with a guide. To be clear, though, this is what you sign up for when you try to cram three things into one day...it's not the fault of the tour. The tour of Oxford was better as Simon provided the guide and did an excellent job. Being left to walk about on our own at Stonehenge was fine. Simon gave us a primer before we left the bus so we knew what we were seeing. All in all, it was a good choice for us in a five night visit to London. Went to stonehenge, our coach had a flat tire at 7:45am and by 2:30pm it was still not repaired. Our bus driver and tour guide were just as frustrated since they were unable to get communications on when someone was supposed to show up Supposedly someone was supposed to show up at 10 and than 11 and than 12:30. Really? We missed our other tour of Windsor castle and spent an entire day waiting for a fix .I spoke to customer service and they hung up a few times on me. We booked the London Windsor, Stonehenge and Bath tour. We met the bus at the Victoria Bus Station. The ticketing process was quick and easy. Our tour guide, Richard and driver, Julian were amazing! Julian drove that bus through the tiny streets like threading a needle. It was very impressive seeing him maneuver the tiny streets and opposing traffic. He got us to each site on-time, which gave us more time to sightsee. Richard was so knowledgeable of everything! He had several tourists from many different countries and he was able to communicate with each of them in their native languages. Again very impressive! We went to Royal Windsor Afternoon Tour with our wonderful guide Oliver. THANKS to him for the enlightening lovely afternoon. He was so knowledgeable, charming and absolutely wonderful. This tour is 'A Must' for anyone going to London...well worth going to see & explore. My only suggestion is if we could have had an extra hour or so I would have enjoyed walking & touring the town a little. The castle is expansive and with the audio guide we followed we had the right amount time to see the Castle as well as the Chapel & the miniture doll home museum but not the town. The city of Windsor seem to have many restaurants, stores (shopping) and lovely places for memorable picture taking. Our tour guide, Simon, was extremely informative, helpful, funny, and made our group's first experience to Bath, Stone Henge, and Windsor Castle an amazing and memorable experience. Simon was able to tie in England's history and interesting facts from our initial pick up spot in London until the end of the tour. For example, he was able to tell us the origins of Bath's history and while we were on the way to Windsor Castle, he would throw in interesting and entertaining facts pertaining to Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, English celebrities, and the Royal family. It was a fun and engaging way to learn about England's history. Although, we weren't permitted go go into Windsor Castle during the tour (they were closed to the public), Simon was able to tell us interesting facts about the surrounding areas. I feel fortunate to have been able to see 3 very popular tourist attractions in one day. Yes we had to rush each event, but I do feel that I saw what I wanted to see--With one big exception! We signed up for a Sunday to do this tour. One of the main things that I wanted to do upon touching British shores is visit the Queen's final resting place. This is not possible on a Sunday because services are being held in St. George's Chapel where the Queen is buried. How disappointed was I? Horribly! Did the Leeds Castle, Canterbury Cathedral and Cliffs of Dover Tour. We left promptly at 0900 hours (Boarding started at 0830 hours). Took about two hours to get to Leeds Castle. Spent at little over an hour there. Another long drive to Canterbury. The tour guide recommended a place to eat there, and whomever wanted to, could place an order with him so the food would be ready when we got there. I had the meat pie. Good stuff. Evans tours is mediocre at best. One tour we took that included the Tower of London didn't leave enough time actually see everything at the Tower before it closed. The Jack the Ripper tour was terrible as well. They said fish and chips was included. Yeah more like 1 fish nugget and some chips. Went to Windsor, Stonehenge, and Oxford today. The bus was packed and uncomfortable.... smaller than airplane seats. We waited about 45min to get into the castle and had one hour to stay there. We spent about 20min in line at Stonehenge and had 45min total. Which meant you could either go to the stones or exhibition... not both. And we had less than an hour in Oxford! It's ridiculous to pack 3 sites into a day, especially when you know how long the lines are going to be. 2 sites would be fine. And the tour guide was very knowledgeable but would not stop talking....just rambled on and on, even most of the time we were on the bus, which was at least 5 hours! The worst part? 4 people were left behind because they didn't make it back to the bus on time. And they were only 10min late!!!!! read more

Tour: Day trip from London to Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, and Oxford with entry. Getting there: The tour started loading from Victoria Coach Station at 7:30am, which was a little nerve wracking since my husband and I thought it would be a good idea to Uber at 6:50am from Canary Wharf to get there by the time the bus left at 8am (bad idea, take the tube instead!!!). Luckily we made it by 7:45am and found our tour at Gate 0. Whew! Once we hop on, the bus is beautiful, comfortable, and safe. The Tour Guide: Peter and Vin were extremely professional, and the content if the trip was witty, educational, and an absolute pleasure. By far one of the best tours I've ever done - thank you! The Tour: Once the bus was loaded we leave a bit early at 7:50am towards Windsor Castle (win!). We queue up by 9:05am at the entrance, and thank goodness we did because Windsor Castle opened at 9:30am and was packed with tour groups. We get until 11:10am to tour the grounds, which sadly wasn't enough time to do the 90 minute guided tour commissioned by the Crown. Regardless, seeing the state apartments and the Chapel were absolutely breathtaking. Next up, Stonehenge with a travel time of 1.5 hours. We arrive at 12:50pm and have until 2:10pm to take photographs, shop, or eat at the café. Lastly, Oxford with a travel time of 1.5hours, where we tour the colleges, learn about the history of the town and have time to walk around for 40 minutes. We leave around 5:20pm towards London and arrive past 7pm, making it a jam packed day but oh so worth it! Thank you again! read more

Had a really lovely day on the Windsor/Stonehenge/Bath tour. Out guide was Eugene & our driver was JZ. Purchasing the tickets online and meeting up was very easy and clear. The coach bus was very comfortable and new - with Wi-Fi, usb charging, and toilets aboard. Honestly, this was a great value and made life so much easier to be ferried around to so many sights in just one day. If you only have time to do these sights in one day, I recommend this method. The tour we chose included entry into Windsor and Stonehenge, and free time in Bath, although personally I'm a little skeptical of how one can fit in a tour of the Roman baths into this jam-packed day. Everything was super streamlined, and Eugene our guide was really informative with pointing out stuff at each location, while on the road, and even giving us a bit of a walking tour of Bath and even a quick points of interest as we left London. The tour also gave you personal little audio guides for us to hear Eugene without him needing to shout. And at Stonehenge, these devices turned into audio guides at various points of interest. We took the Blenheim Palace tour with the Cotswolds and Bampton tour on 6-2-24. It was very disappointing. There was a triathalon being held at the palace the same day as the tour. Evan Evans should not book a tour at a location that's having an event that is so disruptive for sightseeing. It's not like the triathlon was a spur of the moment event.
