    Fantastic avo toast!
    Tony S.

I've stayed at IHG hotels all around the world for nearly two decades, but this was my first time at one of their EVEN properties--and I'm officially hooked on their wellness concept! Nestled in the lush greenery of Alpharetta, this hotel has a casual but warm and welcoming vibe from the moment you walk through the doors. The staff is genuinely friendly, and I had a great conversation with Jenna about the hotel's facilities. By the way, HUGE thanks to her for recommending the avocado toast for breakfast--it was delicious! I absolutely loved the workout and yoga gear provided in the room. After a rough two days of travel, the bungee chord/TRX-style equipment was a game changer for stretching and easing my back. Perfect for realigning after a long flight. Another cool touch was how simple it was to control the TV with my phone. Just scan the TV's barcode, and my phone became the remote--super convenient! The room itself was cozy and comfortable. I especially loved the four pillows on the bed, which made for a restful sleep. The bathroom was spacious and spotless, too. I'm so glad I chose this place, and I'll definitely be staying here again on future trips. Highly recommend it!

I stayed at Even Hotel because I was traveling with a coworker and he loved it here last time we stayed. I did not want to because I have an aversion to IHG brand hotels since one really bad experience in one in Columbus, OH. He convinced me saying he really loved it and that it was close to the local branch office we were visiting. I have to say, my friend was right. This hotel is good. I wondered why it was called Even Hotel, and thats because all their rooms are even numbered... It has a very modern look to it. It's also big on being healthy. Theres even exercise stuff in every hotel room. Not my thing, but my coworker loves that. I loved the comfortable room and delicious breakfast. I am more than willing to come back, more than I can say for the rest of the IHG brand.

We spent a night here for a staycation and had a decent stay. Proximity to the Avalon area was great, and we could have even walked it if the weather had cooperated. The lobby and fitness center looked and smelled clean, and our room seemed to be neat as well. Inside, there's a fridge, a small pod-based coffee machine, and a bathroom with a rainfall shower. Compared to other hotels where we've stayed, our king sized room felt smaller than most. Later, I wondered if the cozier square footage contributed to the sensitive (and slightly noisy) HVAC system, which made the room go from chilly to hot within mere minutes. One unique thing about the rooms is that they come equipped with exercise materials. We had a yoga mat, jump ropes, and an exercise ball by our bed, and judging from pictures others posted, it would seem that each room comes with something different. The TVs have free workout videos for those so inclined, but since we were already a little cramped for space and there was such a great fitness center downstairs, we didn't make much use of these. Downstairs, there is a small store for comestibles, a bar, and a restaurant that serves made-to-order breakfasts. Unfortunately, breakfast isn't free, but it's a convenient option if you need to grab a quick bite. Important to note: Parking is not free. There seems to be an external parking management company that oversees these spaces, and you'll need to pay through a website (accessible via the QR codes that are on the parking lot signs). It was $12 per night, which felt a little steep since this isn't a super premium hotel in a hotspot area. In the end, we paid it because there aren't any other parking options in the area but it's something we wished we knew when we booked.

This started out roughly but ended up fantastic! We were on a house finding trip and needed a long stay. After much research my wife found the Even Hotel and it seemed nice with pretty good rates plus they accepted dogs! We booked our two week long stay and drove over. To save a littke money we booked one room for the day we arrived and two double beds. Then for the rest of the time there we booked two adjoining rooms. I called ahead to be sure we would be able to get a room, for the first night, that would be able to just open to the adjoining room the next day so we didn't have to move all our stuff. We had packed up my wife's office monitors, boys gaming systems, brought lots of snack stuff, and tons of luggage. We had to rent a small uhaul trailer to get it all there and I really didn't want to pack everything up to move it again. When I called, the gentleman helping me was not really very nice, but we did work through it. We got in very late... it was a heck of a long drive... and we checked in and went to our room. It took 3 luggage cart fulls to get everything up to the room. The next day things were messed up. We had to load up and move rooms. I wasn't happy at all but I figured one move and it would be done. We got into the first adjoining room to wait for the other to be ready. I noticed it was darn hot in the room so I cranked the AC. It didn't work. I talked to the front desk and they sent some one over. It could not be fixed by them. The hotel was sold out and it turns out they were not even supposed to be renting out this room! We needed a solution. Their first solution was to move rooms for a day while they got a company into fix it, keep the other adjoining room, and then move back again once the AC ways fixed! That meant loading and unloading and loading and unloading again! And they really were not sure they could get it fixed. I was not down with that! After much discussion we did arrive at a fantastic solution... they gave us a suite with an adjoining room for the same cost. The suite had an extra room with like a living room/office area micro wave and all. (Note the smaller rooms don't have micro waves... something to know if you are staying for a while) It was a much better plan then we had originally and from then on our stay was great. The restaurant in the hotel was closed for breakfast and lunch and only open for dinner Wednesday through Sunday. But their limited menu was good... hamburgers, wings, humus and a few other offerings... the wings were actually exceptional and my kid liked the burgers. The staff, after our first experience was phenomenal. Very kind and helpful all the way through our stay. The location was fantastic!! Right across from the Avalon area which is filled with shopping and places to eat. Over all it was a great stay!

Clean, modern and fairly new hotel near the Avalon shopping area. The rooms were clean, the staff was professional and accommodating. I really liked the safety precautions taken during this time (considering the pandemic) masks & gloves worn by staff & plexiglas at the checkin-in desk. Signs encouraging stair usage and urging to avoid crowding into the elevator were also appreciated precautions. Down side- No microwave in the room, the hotel not currently serving meals and restaurant closed due to pandemic, no daily house keeping due to pandemic. This is all understandable BUT I just want to share this info so guests can be prepared. Also, the hotel is about a year old and a bit off the Main Street, better signage would be nice. Overall I would stay again. Oh- there is a pet fee. I believe it is $ 100.00 per stay.

    King suite
    Lanese A.

I was surprised when I receive the email a couple days before giving me a upgrade to a king suite. However, when we arrived, there was an issue. the issue was resolved within 35 minutes and they were more that apologetic and the room was amazing and worth the wait. The food in the restaurant was great. The King suite has one half bathroom and one full bathroom in the master bedroom. The master bedroom has its own television. The living room has a deep sofa, but it is not a pull out couch. There is a workout bike. The living room has a television as well. You can cast from your phone as well to both television

    Masks are required

We stayed at the EVEN Hotel Suites due to having no power at home from Hurricane Zata. We picked EVEN Hotel suites, because it was dog friendly for a $100 fee. This is very high because this basically doubles the cost of the room, but we were just glad to have our dog come. We felt very safe and comfortable throughout our stay, even with COVID-19 going on. Masks were required throughout the hotel room when not in your room, though there was no one enforcing this. Our room had two queen beds, and a spa-like restroom. The hotel is kind of fitness-based and there is lots of workout equipment in the room. I felt like the room had been cleaned very well for the most part. The rooms are very well designed, and have huge TV's, as well as a dry erase board. There is also a really cool set of LED lights above the bed that can be adjusted using the remote control on the nightstand. My kids loved those! I was a little suspicious about the pricing. I saw online that rooms started at $84, and called over the phone to make reservations. The woman on the phone said that the lowest rate was $104. I asked her about this and all of a sudden, the lowest rate was $94. Definitely ask about the pricing, otherwise they'll try to overcharge The atmosphere of the hotel is very nice, but it gets pretty suspicious at night. We went outside to walk our dogs around 10 PM, and there were two men smoking pot in the parking lot. I know the hotel really had nothing to do with this, just wanted to include this to let everyone know to keep your kids in at night.

We were turned off by having to go out to the parking lot and scan a QR code to pay for parking at the hotel through another entity.

I arrived late--as usual--and check-in went smoothly. The front desk agent was extremely polite and helpful. I asked for a plastic key (I always do this as a backup in case the app fails), and while she was processing it, another employee (Not front desk maybe engineering are maintenance) chimed in to say I didn't need to visit the desk if I checked in on the app. I had literally just explained why I came down, so that felt a bit dismissive. Either way, I got my keys (she gave me two) and headed up. My Hilton Gold status wasn't acknowledged--not a big deal, but it's usually part of the routine. My room was on the 7th floor and looked great. Just inside the door was a Cuisinart coffee maker (dual-cup), a small refrigerator with two complimentary water bottles, and a low countertop with two drawers. Between the coffee area and the closet was a wall mirror. The closet itself had hangers, an ironing board, iron, and a safe. At the top of the closet, there was what looked like a concealed compartment--unclear what it's for, but it stood out. The bedroom had a wall-mounted TV above a second set of drawers with an ice bucket and glasses, a desk with a non-rolling alligator print chair (surprisingly stylish), and a plush armchair with a side table and lamp. Bedside setup included two lamps, an alarm clock, and a limited number of USB ports and plugs. Outlets were scarce overall--one near the coffee maker (but half-blocked), and one in the hallway. Another not positive note is they have no free coffee so you can't get a cup of coffee without paying for it and that is the first time I've encountered that at any Hilton anywhere. The bathroom was clean, with a glass shower, lighted mirror, and a built-in nightlight (which I always appreciate). Towels were average--not luxury, but not thin or scratchy. A hair dryer was provided. The door had a solid privacy guard at the bottom. I didn't have much of a view at night, but the room felt comfortable and well-kept. Breakfast was a bit of a mixed bag. The staff was great--super friendly and welcoming--but the food didn't impress. The bacon was practically inedible, hard like plastic. Pork sausage links were decent, and the Gouda cheese grits were flavorful but salty. Pre-made waffles were good. There were the usual extras like breads, pastries, and fruit, but overall it didn't feel like a standout Hilton breakfast. I didn't go back after that for the rest of my stay. The snack shop by the front desk could use serious attention. It was heavily stocked with healthy options that didn't seem to be selling, while candy and chocolate were gone almost immediately. I had a late night chocolate craving and came up empty-handed--only ice cream was available. On top of that, they sell glass Coke bottles that require a bottle opener, but there's none in the room or the shop. I had to go back to the front desk and ask the guy to use the one he carries in his pocket. That shouldn't be how it works--either include a bottle opener in the room or offer one with the purchase. I didn't request housekeeping during my stay, but I liked that they left a card on my door letting me know I could reach out by 2 PM if I needed anything. That's a nice, considerate touch I haven't seen at other Hiltons. Parking is mostly in the rear. There are Diamond and handicap spots up front, but for most guests, you'll need to walk a bit either to the front entrance or the side door--even from the closest spot in the main lot. Each evening, the hotel had a lively vibe. The bar and patio areas had groups hanging out, enjoying drinks and conversation. It seems like a fun place to stay if you're here for leisure. I was just in town for work, so I didn't get to take advantage of it--and I never even saw the pool (if they have one). The night staff were friendly and attentive every time I passed through the lobby. Overall, the hotel is clean, the staff is great, and the room was comfortable. Just a few tweaks--better breakfast execution, a stocked snack shop, and accessible bottle openers--would elevate the stay. On a side note I had to sign into the Wi-Fi on my cell phone and my laptop every single day of my trip At other Hiltons I stay signed in the entire time I'm there or maybe after 5 days it resets could you have your IT people adjust that setting please It's a pain when you're behind a VPN for work

The property itself is beautiful, and check-in was smooth. The front desk representative who checked us in initially was friendly and professional. We were assigned Room 414, which initially seemed comfortable and well appointed. That all changed around 2:00 am, when a wall recessed alarm inside the room suddenly went off at a volume comparable to a fire alarm. It was loud, jarring, and immediately woke us up in a state of panic. We called the front desk immediately and were told this happens occasionally, there was no life safety concerns, and we did not need to vacate the property. The representative said she would reset the room by cutting and restoring power, which she noted sometimes resolved the issue. What was truly surprising (the alarm itself aside), was how familiar the representative was with the problem; this made it clear this wasn't the first time it had occurred. Unfortunately, the reset did not work. About 20 minutes later, after we had settled back into bed, the alarm went off again. When we called the front desk back, we were told our only options were for them to turn off the power to the room for the remainder of the night or move to another room for what would have only been a few remaining hours of sleep. Turning off the power wasn't an ideal option because my husband's medical sleep device requires continuous power, and after being jolted awake multiple times, relocating in the middle of the night felt like another unnecessary disruption. I understand that systems fail and unexpected mechanical issues can happen. However, because it was clear this was a known, recurring issue, it felt like a missed opportunity to address a maintenance problem before placing a guest in that room. Being repeatedly awakened by a blaring alarm is not a minor inconvenience, especially when is avoidable. As a Hilton Honors member who stays at Hilton properties frequently, I found this experience especially disappointing. The response felt reactive rather than proactive and did not mirror the level of service either one of us had come to expect from the Hilton brand (especially a Curio Collection property). The Hamilton is a beautiful hotel in a prime location, but a hotel stay ultimately comes down to comfort and rest. Unfortunately, that didn't happen here, hopefully this feedback helps prevent similar experiences for future guests.

Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Wrongful $375 Tow Charge and Removal from Holiday Inn Express…read moreAlpharetta Windward Parkway To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding my family's stay at the Holiday Inn Express Alpharetta Windward Parkway and the conduct of General Manager Samuel O. Djan. We believe we were wrongfully charged $375 for a towing service that never occurred and were later removed from the hotel after requesting proof of the charge. When we checked into the hotel on August 5, 2026, everything went smoothly. The front desk associate was courteous, professional, and helpful. Prior to this incident, my husband spoke directly with Samuel by telephone regarding our truck. My husband explained that the truck would be moved no later than August 1, 2026. Samuel agreed and stated that moving the truck by that date would be fine. During that conversation, Samuel never mentioned a towing company, towing fees, service charges, invoices, or any money owed. Based on his approval, we understood that moving the truck ourselves by August 1 would fully resolve the matter. We honored that agreement exactly as discussed and personally moved our truck by August 1. It was therefore shocking to later be told we owed $375 for an alleged towing-related charge, even though our truck was never towed. On August 5, my husband was informed by the front desk associate that Samuel wanted to charge us because our truck had allegedly been towed. This made no sense because the truck had never been towed. Throughout that day, every conversation went through the front desk associate because Samuel repeatedly refused to come out of his office, stating he was "in a conference." We were told Samuel had an invoice proving the charge. However, the front desk associate herself confirmed that she remembered us coming downstairs and moving our truck ourselves. She also appeared confused because she knew no tow truck had removed our vehicle. We finally spoke with Samuel in person on the morning of August 6. He again insisted we owed $375. When it became clear that our truck had never been towed, his explanation changed. He then claimed the charge was simply because a towing company had been called. This raised several questions. If Samuel had already agreed we could move the truck by August 1, why was a towing company called at all? Why was this never mentioned during the phone conversation? Why were we initially told the truck had been towed, only for the explanation to later change? Even more concerning, Samuel requested that we pay him directly in cash. We were never allowed to speak with the towing company or pay them directly. We simply were expected to hand cash to the hotel manager. We repeatedly requested proof. If the towing company performed a billable service, there should be surveillance footage showing a tow truck hooking up to or moving our vehicle, along with dispatch records and an invoice describing exactly what service was performed. To our knowledge, no such evidence exists because we moved our own truck. After refusing to pay a charge we did not believe we owed, the discussion became heated. My husband became frustrated after repeatedly asking for proof and receiving conflicting explanations. During the exchange, he called Samuel a "sucker" and challenged him to step outside. While we acknowledge this language was inappropriate, it occurred only after we believed we were being pressured to pay $375 for a towing service that never occurred. Shortly afterward, Samuel canceled our reservation, claiming my husband had made threatening statements and that he no longer felt safe. We believe this action was taken after we challenged the disputed charge and insisted on proof. We respectfully request that IHG investigate this matter by: * Reviewing hotel surveillance footage to determine whether a tow truck ever hooked up to or moved our vehicle. * Obtaining the towing company's invoice and dispatch records. * Determining whether any billable service was actually performed. * Explaining why we were initially told the truck had been towed, only for the explanation to change. * Explaining why Samuel requested direct cash payment instead of allowing us to work with the towing company. * Explaining why Samuel agreed that moving the truck by August 1 would resolve the matter but later attempted to charge us $375 after we complied. The facts are simple: Samuel approved our plan to move the truck by August 1; we did exactly that; our truck was never towed; the front desk associate confirmed we moved it ourselves; Samuel later changed his explanation for the charge, requested cash payment, and we were removed from the hotel after requesting proof. As longtime travelers, we have never experienced anything like this. We respectfully request that IHG Corporate conduct a thorough investigation and provide a fair resolution. Sincerely, Kimberly Brassell

Pretty typical Hampton Inn that was in a convenient location for visiting Alpharetta. The Yelp map…read moretakes you the back way into the hotel, but there is a much shorter path thru the shopping mall next door, just look for the round-about. The hotel is clean, the service is pretty good, and the beds were comfortable. I originally was booked in 209, and the view was the rooftop air conditioners that made a humming noise, so after the first night, I was switched to 409 and it was much better. The breakfast was decent, and I did not use the pool or gym, but then again, this is just a decent, safe, and quiet place to stay the night.

Maintenance came but didn't fix the problem. Then I noticed this . A soiled & stained mattress where my head would have been that night. GROSS!! I reported to front desk asked for manager but he wasn't in. We moved to another room down the hall. Next day asked for manager at 9:00 and 11:00 both times front desk reported him out. At 9:00 I did send him an email with the picture and asked for compensation. And even though he was reported out I DID see him in the lobby at 11:00 because I recognized his name on his name tag. So he was IN just refused to address the issue. Great manager!?! So he gave me 10,000 Hilton Honors points and thought that would be OK. I don't know but if you are a Hilton member 10K doesn't get you anywhere! Reported to Hilton Honors but they said they can't do anything more. These Hilton properties are franchises! Hilton has no input on issues like this!

My son found his dad's blazer and touched it. He cut a big chunk of his finger skin. We went downstairs to get the first aid kit. They had 2 but both were empty. At least they had a gauge to keep the blood from flowing to give my husband enough time to Walgreen to buy the first aid kit 2. One of the lights in the room never worked since we were there. On our last night, my husband (without knowing), turned on that broken light and it tripped the room's fuse. We called the front desk, and they said they had no maintenance staff nor any room for us to move. My husband found the fuse and reset the fuse. He turned on the broken light again (he didn't know it was the reason for the black out the first time), and it blew the fuse out again. This time, we couldn't get the electricity back. I called the front desk and they told me "I'll make note that your husband broke the fuse". I had to correct her that "It's the hotel's broken light that broke the fuse".

I could grocery shop/cook or eat out and bring home my leftovers. It's technically walking distance to the Avalon. It's about a mile, but the path is well defined and easy. (A great way to get in your steps!) I thought my bed was really comfortable. Plus you get 4 pillows!! 2 firm and 2 soft. I appreciate the free laundry amenities. Nothing worse than digging for quarters. The best part of the whole experience is the food. They have a kickass (pardon my French) breakfast spread. Eggs, sausage, fruit, breakfast carbs, oatmeal, and juices. On top of that, they have hot food Mon-Wed evenings, with complimentary beer/wine social hour. Really really good. For a work trip, it was perfect because I didn't feel like cooking and I can only eat so much lean cuisine. Highly highly recommend.
