We spent a night here for a staycation and had a decent stay. Proximity to the Avalon area was great, and we could have even walked it if the weather had cooperated. The lobby and fitness center looked and smelled clean, and our room seemed to be neat as well. Inside, there's a fridge, a small pod-based coffee machine, and a bathroom with a rainfall shower. Compared to other hotels where we've stayed, our king sized room felt smaller than most. Later, I wondered if the cozier square footage contributed to the sensitive (and slightly noisy) HVAC system, which made the room go from chilly to hot within mere minutes. One unique thing about the rooms is that they come equipped with exercise materials. We had a yoga mat, jump ropes, and an exercise ball by our bed, and judging from pictures others posted, it would seem that each room comes with something different. The TVs have free workout videos for those so inclined, but since we were already a little cramped for space and there was such a great fitness center downstairs, we didn't make much use of these. Downstairs, there is a small store for comestibles, a bar, and a restaurant that serves made-to-order breakfasts. Unfortunately, breakfast isn't free, but it's a convenient option if you need to grab a quick bite. Important to note: Parking is not free. There seems to be an external parking management company that oversees these spaces, and you'll need to pay through a website (accessible via the QR codes that are on the parking lot signs). It was $12 per night, which felt a little steep since this isn't a super premium hotel in a hotspot area. In the end, we paid it because there aren't any other parking options in the area but it's something we wished we knew when we booked. read more

Great experience at the EVEN Hotel. I was in the area for work and stayed through the weekend. I had two reservations, given that part of my stay was booked through work and the other was personal. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating, and they provided great service to help me both edit the room booked for work from a king to 2 queens and keep the same room for both reservations. I did technically have to check out and back in, and since the other reservation was not technically in my name, I had to be added as an additional guest on the reservation- but it was a very quick and easy process that required a phone call to the hotel. I didn't have to move my belongings in/out during this time, which was a huge plus, and given I had to leave for work, they communicated across staff to make sure everyone was aware of the situation. The hotel itself was nice, clean, and modern; not too fancy, but the perfect middle. They have a "restaurant/bar" in the lobby that serves breakfast and drinks/lite meals in PM, as well as a limited AM "grab and go" items. You have the option to include a breakfast voucher to your rez.; however, if convenience isn't your goal (for example, surely business), it may be better to leave it off so you can find local cuisine. They had a water station in the lobby with lemon, lime, and regular water, which was refreshing and a nice touch. When booking, they have standard and premium - the difference being floor level. We booked standard and were on the 4th floor (out of 6), so if you don't care so much about that, it may be better to save and go standard. I found the pricing to be reasonable. The rooms were clean and as expected - bathroom with toiletries (attached big bottles), I personally really liked the scents. Either a king or two queen beds, a desk area, a mini fridge, a closet with a safe, an iron, etc. There was a full-size mirror and, to my surprise, a little workout area (yoga mat, blocks, light weights). Small detail for me that made a huge difference - the ice station also provided water. It is directly next to the elevator, so no need to look for the ice room. The hotel was in a great area - close to avalon as well as other shopping and restaurant plazas. Right down the street is a Starbucks and some resturatants and a whole foods across the street. If you're looking for a clean, decently priced hotel, this is a good spot. They have a gym and outside seating area - unfortunately, no pool or hot tub, which would have been a nice addition. Check in extremely easy. Chris is a very nice young man and made the process very easy. He's an asset to your company. Room is very nice. Very clean. Bathroom has Beekman 1802 shower products which is a very nice touch. Double shower head; rain and hand held...also a nice touch. A/C has always on fan if you prefer....again, very nice. But I had zero issue with noise in the room so even without I think it would be fine. Exhausted after a 15hr+ work/travel day and this was a nice place to instantly relax. This started out roughly but ended up fantastic! We were on a house finding trip and needed a long stay. After much research my wife found the Even Hotel and it seemed nice with pretty good rates plus they accepted dogs! We booked our two week long stay and drove over. To save a littke money we booked one room for the day we arrived and two double beds. Then for the rest of the time there we booked two adjoining rooms. I called ahead to be sure we would be able to get a room, for the first night, that would be able to just open to the adjoining room the next day so we didn't have to move all our stuff. We had packed up my wife's office monitors, boys gaming systems, brought lots of snack stuff, and tons of luggage. We had to rent a small uhaul trailer to get it all there and I really didn't want to pack everything up to move it again. When I called, the gentleman helping me was not really very nice, but we did work through it. We got in very late... it was a heck of a long drive... and we checked in and went to our room. It took 3 luggage cart fulls to get everything up to the room. The next day things were messed up. We had to load up and move rooms. I wasn't happy at all but I figured one move and it would be done. We got into the first adjoining room to wait for the other to be ready. I noticed it was darn hot in the room so I cranked the AC. It didn't work. I talked to the front desk and they sent some one over. It could not be fixed by them. The hotel was sold out and it turns out they were not even supposed to be renting out this room! We needed a solution. Their first solution was to move rooms for a day while they got a company into fix it, keep the other adjoining room, and then move back again once the AC ways fixed! That meant loading and unloading and loading and unloading again! And they really were not sure they could get it fixed. I was not down with that! After much discussion we did arrive at a fantastic solution... they gave us a suite with an adjoining room for the same cost. The suite had an extra room with like a living room/office area micro wave and all. (Note the smaller rooms don't have micro waves... something to know if you are staying for a while) It was a much better plan then we had originally and from then on our stay was great. The restaurant in the hotel was closed for breakfast and lunch and only open for dinner Wednesday through Sunday. But their limited menu was good... hamburgers, wings, humus and a few other offerings... the wings were actually exceptional and my kid liked the burgers. The staff, after our first experience was phenomenal. Very kind and helpful all the way through our stay. The location was fantastic!! Right across from the Avalon area which is filled with shopping and places to eat. Over all it was a great stay! read more

EVEN Hotels is the newest group of IHG hotels. IHG has a fantastic rewards program. The focus at EVEN is on health with in-room fitness equipment, unlimited workout videos through their TVs and an outstanding fitness center. The Nautilus weight machines are incredible as well as the treadmills, bikes and ellipticals. Daily yoga classes are offered. The hotel will launder your fitness clothes for free. Rooms are contemporary with large screen TVs, colorful LED lights and glass shower doors. Really nice fire pit a d seating area outside, large lit parking lot and spacious lobby. The on-site restaurant isn't open all the time (some days only dinner, other times just for breakfast). The food and drinks are good and prices are typical of hotels. We enjoyed our 2 nights in May and will be returning in December for another stay. read more

Clean, modern and fairly new hotel near the Avalon shopping area. The rooms were clean, the staff was professional and accommodating. I really liked the safety precautions taken during this time (considering the pandemic) masks & gloves worn by staff & plexiglas at the checkin-in desk. Signs encouraging stair usage and urging to avoid crowding into the elevator were also appreciated precautions. Down side- No microwave in the room, the hotel not currently serving meals and restaurant closed due to pandemic, no daily house keeping due to pandemic. This is all understandable BUT I just want to share this info so guests can be prepared. Also, the hotel is about a year old and a bit off the Main Street, better signage would be nice. Overall I would stay again. Oh- there is a pet fee. I believe it is $ 100.00 per stay. read more

I was surprised when I receive the email a couple days before giving me a upgrade to a king suite. However, when we arrived, there was an issue. the issue was resolved within 35 minutes and they were more that apologetic and the room was amazing and worth the wait. The food in the restaurant was great. The King suite has one half bathroom and one full bathroom in the master bedroom. The master bedroom has its own television. The living room has a deep sofa, but it is not a pull out couch. There is a workout bike. The living room has a television as well. You can cast from your phone as well to both television read more

This is the easiest hotel and so positive! There is yoga equipment in the room for you to use, the design is soothing, and the bathroom is loaded with shower gel, lotions, shampoo and conditioner. The bar downstairs is moderately priced with a decent selection. I'd stay here again. read more

We stayed at the EVEN Hotel Suites due to having no power at home from Hurricane Zata. We picked EVEN Hotel suites, because it was dog friendly for a $100 fee. This is very high because this basically doubles the cost of the room, but we were just glad to have our dog come. We felt very safe and comfortable throughout our stay, even with COVID-19 going on. Masks were required throughout the hotel room when not in your room, though there was no one enforcing this. Our room had two queen beds, and a spa-like restroom. The hotel is kind of fitness-based and there is lots of workout equipment in the room. I felt like the room had been cleaned very well for the most part. The rooms are very well designed, and have huge TV's, as well as a dry erase board. There is also a really cool set of LED lights above the bed that can be adjusted using the remote control on the nightstand. My kids loved those! I was a little suspicious about the pricing. I saw online that rooms started at $84, and called over the phone to make reservations. The woman on the phone said that the lowest rate was $104. I asked her about this and all of a sudden, the lowest rate was $94. Definitely ask about the pricing, otherwise they'll try to overcharge The atmosphere of the hotel is very nice, but it gets pretty suspicious at night. We went outside to walk our dogs around 10 PM, and there were two men smoking pot in the parking lot. I know the hotel really had nothing to do with this, just wanted to include this to let everyone know to keep your kids in at night. read more

If you are looking for a decent, new, and clean hotel near avalon, then this is a good option. Because covid was still affecting travel, many things were altered like the food service and even the daily cleaning was not offered. The grounds and lobby were immaculate and the customer service at the front desk were very friendly. I found the rooms to be a little on the small side, but that is only my impression. The bathroom were nice and I liked the overhead shower head option. The bedding and comforter were very comfy. There is included workout and yoga supplies, but i did not use them. Overall, a good option for reasonable priced accommodations. read more

I stayed here back in May for a friends wedding and the staff was SO accommodating even though I booked through a 3rd party site. They took the time to make sure when I extended by stay by another day-- again through the external site-- that they kept me in my same room for the most convenient experience. But the real kicker is that when I left my Apple Airpods in my room, not only did housekeeping find them, but they held onto them for literal months for me while I got caught up with work and kept forgetting to send them the information to ship them back. My many, many thanks to Tammy and her housekeeping team for their character and customer service. They went above and beyond and I am very grateful. read more

This was a great stay! We were looking for hotel in the Atlanta area and we chose this one! A lot of hotels in Atlanta seem to have a common issue but this one didn't! When you walk in it smells like you're walking into a spa! They offer a healthy selection of hot breakfast for two! Oh and every room has workout equipment. They only thing however was the elevator! It was only one elevator for the entire building! The elevator on the right needed maintenance. But other that this was a great stay and in a great area. read more

Nice hotel for a quiet night's stay. The whole "wellness" thing seems a bit gimmicky, as does the place having only even room numbers. However, the location is great, near the amphitheater and tons of dining and entertainment options. The king room was very spacious (even with the exercise equipment), both the room and the bathroom. Nice shower, nice toiletries, friendly staff. Star deducted because the thermostat was either blowing super cold, or it was off and you were sweating, and it seemed really humid in the room. But it's Atlanta in August, and if the humidity anywhere is less than 1000%, you're probably lucky. read more

We stayed here a few times. Looked away at small discomfort's. But recently the stay was absolutely unacceptable. The room was so musty, such an unpleasant odor. The room was so hot with the thermostat set to 70. We could sleep , got in at about 10 hoping to shower, watch tv and get some rest. No way!!! The rooms oder, uncleanliness, and doors slamming all night was horrific. Such a bad stay ;( Hope to get a nice bright clean room at the Marriott for our next stay. If "LIVE, LOVE, LAUGH" was a hotel, it would be "EVEN". There are some positive, but maybe unnecessary words plastered everywhere including the bathroom. Others have posted photos so you'll get it. The place was simple and clean, and I love that they provide gym equipment in the room in addition to a gym. The room is spacious but my only wish is that they have warm blankets and a working remote (or instructions) for the LED lights. I'd visit this hotel again. read more

This is a new hotel line from IHG that incorporates a "wellness" theme into the stay. This is the first time in ages I have taken pictures of a hotel room, but the amenities justified the extra efforts here. Arrival and check-in was smooth and friendly, room was clean and nicely appointed with a lot of extras. Loved the work-out equipment located in the room along with ample space to stretch out. You should be able to get a solid work-out with the equipment they have supplied. The bathroom is very "spa-like" with a rain-shower head along with a hand-head shower head. Add to the wonderful shower, they offer Beekman 1801 shower gels and hair products...folks this stuff is really top quality bathroom products. Probably the most important of a hotel stay...the bed. Probably one of the most comfortable and plush hotel beds I have ever enjoyed providing a great nights rest. Personally...I'm a fan and while there are not many of these properties in the IHG line yet, when I am looking for a place to stay this will be top of list!!! read more

Carolyn, the manager, was so helpful, hospitable, and kind to us. She went out of her way to ensure we could get into our room early since we had a wedding get ready to attend. Room is clean and bed is super soft. We couldn't get the mood lighting in the room to work which we mentioned to the front desk. During our stay, the staff at the front desk constantly changed and each one was very different in attitude. Some were super friendly and others were not. If you wanted a late checkout, they were not happy about it. On our first day, we extended our stay, we had just gotten dressed to go out for the day when the maid walked right into our room and had no idea we had extended our stay. Breakfast was not what we expected. It is very bland and lacked in flavor. It was horrible combinations. Honestly, a breakfast bar with simple products would have sufficed, which is what we expected, but this was horrible. Prices for said breakfast are outrageous. I could easily go to a restaurant and get better food for a fraction of the price. Also if you have the free breakfast voucher that allows one entree and one juice (orange juice is not included, you have to pay for it). Safe to say our room was nice, but breakfast is not worth the price nor is it worth it being free. Update: the breakfast resulted in food poisoning being that was the only meal I had ate. read more

Checked in at night after a long day and the receptionist was so unwelcoming.. Makes me question, why EVEN? If you're wondering the same, I'll save you the hassle of having to spend your time and money. First off, no breakfast due to covid, although the do charge for breakfast while booking the room. No refund, no discount. Seems unfair? Not yet. They don't have a microwave in the room but they do have changing LED lights and a mini in-the-room gym with elastic bands, pole, gym ball etc. Now if I'm tired and hungry after a long day, I atleast want to be able to heat my food!!! read more

We had high hopes for this little cute hotel in Alpharetta since a friend recommended it, unfortunately we didn't get what we look for in a hotel which is housekeeping. My husband is the kind of person who likes to come back to his room after a long day and find the bed made. That's why we don't use air b&b. To our surprise, we came back and there was no housekeeping done, so I called front desk and the very rude guy tells me that they only do it like every 4 days and it has to be requested (why isn't this disclosed anywhere? When reserving, checking in...)Since we were staying only 4 nights, I requested for the following day after 10am. We left early, had a long day, came bk to the hotel to find there was nothing done again. We call front desk again, and not only we have to put up with Alex's attitude, but he gives us no solution after putting us on hold for like 10 minutes. We called mgmt instead and left a message. Management called back and made excuses for Alex instead of apologizing and figuring smtg out, they decided to argue with us and call us liars. They said that we never requested housekeeping... WHAT? hopefully they have the call recorded so they can see who the liar is. I've always stayed with Hilton with no issues at all. I couldn't book with them because their app wasn't working properly. I understand there's COVID but I saw one of the nice housekeepers in the hallway with her mask. I don't understand why they can pack up the airplane completely but can't clean a room. I didn't get a discount in the room because I'm not getting housekeeping daily. I book a room through hotels.com here at even hotel alpharetta. Obviously, I made a simple mistake of putting the wrong month. January 21 and 22nd when I really wanted the room for December 21 to the 22nd I arrived at the hotel this evening and met the gentleman at the desk. He brought it to my attention, the error. so I went back to Hotels.com and try to correct the mistake part of the process required hotels.com to verify there was available rooms to change the reservation to after they did verify, the room was available they told me that they could change it but They had to contact the gentleman that met me at the front desk for whatever reason he was unwilling to change my reservation from January 21 through the 22nd to today , this makes no sense that they would rather have a room unoccupied, and not allow me to change my reservation to fill it. The only thing I see is, it's clearly something wrong I think this time first time it is a racial situation. He saw my race because my unarmed friend did the same thing but they did change it for him. Hello read more
