Our Daisy is coming up on her 5th birthday. We bought her for a pet and train to visit hospitals, shut ins, kids etc. She is well mannered, highly intelligent and a happy, sweet girl. She is "open ticked" but we desired a pet not a show animal and were just fine with her recessive trait coloring. She makes each day a "bright and sunny DAY". Evenstar loves and cares for their dogs and pups like they were each their own. If you want a blue tick that is bred for the intelligence, beauty, love of the breed, and genuine love for dogs then this is your place. Evenstar is nothing more than a run of the mill puppy mill with deplorable conditions. The dogs are all underweight and live in small kennels with little to no exercise or freedom. The dogs are sick, malnourished and show signs of having been physically abused. Someone needs to shut down this filthy disgusting place and put the owners in jail for animal cruelty, neglect and abuse. read more

Evenstar Hounds is something special. Kim and her mother were very friendly and genuine. They had one of the most beautiful selection of Blueticks that you could chose from. After we had payed and received our little girl we stayed for probably an hour and just talked. They are truly just some good ol southern folks.
