I wish the rest of the overall experience could have gone the same as the initial experience with booking this rental. The Trailer was not up to par on cleanliness. Dirty linen on bedding. There were also some insect issues which resulted in us not being able to utilize appliances within the trailer or keep our luggage inside as well. Water tank was not full as expected, and we had to leave camp to buy 12 gallons of water to fill our tank just to be able to use the restroom. Customer service did handle the water situation our first day in a timely matter. The insect issue obviously couldn't be taken care of on our vacation. I suggest better inspection of the rentals prior to renting. Maybe also a quarterly insect fumigation for precautionary measures. We will not use this company for rentals in the future, because we cannot take the chance that we would run into the same issues with insects or low tanks.

Booked an RV with them through Outdoorsy. This is my first time booking an RV and when I explained…read morethat to them with some follow up questions about the reservation since I had to also rent a spot at the RV resort. They were extremely rude and said they won't be able to help me with the reservation at the resort when I just asked for the size of the RV and if it needed a grass or gravel slot of land. Onto the actual trip, the stairs to the RV were not set up correctly and they were extremely wobbly the whole trip. Additionally, there was a lot more damage to the RV compared to what was on the listing which suggests that they used outdated photos for the listing. After the trip, the host prematurely claimed the whole security deposit before even getting a quote on the damages and now I have to jump through a bunch of hurdles to get it back because we had insurance in case of damages. Over a month later, and I still did not receive an estimate but I am lucky to have booked through Outdoorsy for some protection. Overall, this company is greedy and will take advantage of any chance to get more money for themselves. I recommend you book with another company.

I rented the 36ft Coachman Mirada for 10 days. I was a little nervous as I had never driven or…read moreused a motor home before. I went big and decided on the Mirada! Driving was easy. A screen by the radio that showed me what was behind me... and when I signaled, the side cameras automatically switched to the side I was changing lanes. I didn't have a problem with any campsite I stayed in for 10 nights. Gas mileage. If you are concerned about gas mileage... just take your car/truck. . I didn't calculate gas mileage, but I am guessing between 8-10 miles per gallon. I went from 0 elevation to 7,000 ft so low mileage was expected. Learning to hook up, dump waste, set up and tear down the motor home was fairly easy. I had to text Jimmy on night one with a question, but he responded promptly and I was set! I will 100% be using Class A RV rentals again! I am already thinking about my next trip!

We own a travel trailer and a 5th wheel, but our tow vehicle was out of commission. Despite this setback, we had a camping trip planned with a few other families. We reached out to JaeBug Trailer Rentals and received a response immediately. Booking was super easy; they were incredibly accommodating, especially since we had many moving parts and I can be a bit high-maintenance when coordinating these types of things with other families. We rented the 36' Genesis Supreme toy hauler, which was in pristine condition! Even though we brought everything from our travel trailer, they provided all the necessities and even had the beds made up. It literally came with everything you would need as a starting point. Where we were camping, it was HOT (high 90s to the 100s) during the day, and the A/C was amazing! The "master" bedroom had a REAL mattress; it was so comfortable, I didn't want to get out of bed. Not only was the trailer itself fantastic, but the customer service was also exceptional. The RV park itself is peaceful, easy to navigate, and in a really convenient location if you're bouncing between Indio and Joshua Tree -- which I did. I even made it out to Joshua Tree National Park, and the drive from the resort was super smooth. The resort has plenty of space, good energy, and the overall environment feels safe and relaxed. Staff was decent and check‑in was easy. That said, the toilets definitely need a deep cleaning. Not terrible, but not up to the standard the rest of the park sets. If they improved that, it would elevate the whole experience.

Sandy Vans to the Rescue!…read more So... my original awning decided to pick a fight with the wind. The wind won. Turns out my Exclusive Outfitters-built Sprinter van had a VERY heavy electric Dometic awning supported by only TWO mounting brackets. And just to make things more interesting, those brackets were attached with riv-nuts drilled into the corner of my roof--which also happens to be a pop-top. I'm no engineer, but a giant heavy awning + two brackets + a pop-top roof apparently wasn't the winning combination we all hoped for. Enter Sandy Vans. I live in San Diego and needed a replacement awning ASAP because we're leaving for Utah in a couple of days. I contacted Sandy Vans and had an awesome experience from the very beginning. I spoke with Cindy two days in a row, and she was fantastic--super helpful, courteous, patient, and accommodating. When I came in to pick up the awning, if she didn't know the answer to one of my questions, she didn't just shrug and send me on my way. She immediately found someone who did. That kind of customer service goes a long way. Then came Braden. Also extremely helpful and accommodating. He handled my purchase and even gave me his cell number so I could text him if I decided to install the awning myself and needed some technical support. He did briefly mistake my Sprinter for a Ford Transit... I'll forgive him. My van has a pop-top, so it doesn't look like the 9-foot-tall Sprinter skyscrapers that make up about 90% of camper vans these days. Then Brian came out from the shop and actually took the time to look over my van and roof rack to figure out how I could mount the new awning. He gave me several ideas, explained different options, and made the whole project seem doable. Sandy Vans offered to install it, but apparently I enjoy making my life more difficult, so I decided to tackle the installation myself with a good friend. About 2.5 hours, some cutting, grinding, a few choice words directed at the old mounting brackets, and probably a questionable amount of confidence later... NEW AWNING INSTALLED! What impressed me most about Sandy Vans was that they were helpful even after realizing I might not be paying them to do the installation. They still took the time to answer questions, look at my setup, offer advice, and make themselves available if I ran into problems. That says a lot about a business. I highly recommend Sandy Vans for their customer service, knowledge, courtesy, availability, and willingness to actually help their customers. Cindy, Braden, and Brian were all great to deal with. Now hopefully this awning and the Utah wind can maintain a respectful relationship.

I finally got around to reaching out to Sandy Vans to see about getting a replacement and was told that "this item is outside of their return window" (which is 30 days) but they could offer me $50 off towards a new $200 bug screen.. which seems silly considering the first one fell apart. I'm not sure about their other products, but the bug screens are garbage! I declined their pitiful offer of $50 off a new one and told them I'd purchase from a company with a more durable product. I'd recommend anyone else thinking about buying this product do the same!
