    Rubal is truly a god-send to us. We met Rubal in Jan 2020 for a wedding date planned for July 2020. She was very friendly and personable on the very first meeting, wanting to know all about us from the very start. She was very easy to open up to and collaborate on the various events that we wanted as part of the wedding celebrations. Within a matter of a couple of weeks of the first meeting, she had all the ideas and plans on paper. She has very good contacts with vendors and was able to lock down dates and budgets which worked well for us. Unfortunately, Covid hit in March 2020 and we had to put all plans on hold. Rubal was very assuring during that time and made sure the vendors stuck to their deliverables for the re-plan. We had to work through a couple of more delays in 2021 and finally went ahead for dates in Apr 2022. Even though we went through a whole lot of uncertainty for almost two years, one thing that gave us comfort was that Rubal was there with us :-) Rubal's planning was great but the execution was impeccable. Everything went smoothly with no hiccups and our family/friends were just amazed with the whole gala. We just couldn't believe it that those 3 days of celebrations went by so quickly, filled with so much fun, love and laughter. We owe it all to Rubal. My wife and I dont consider Rubal as our wedding planner, rather we consider her as our family. Rubal is very detail oriented, organized, good communicator, resourceful and most of all very diligent.     Where do I start with Rubal? Even if there were a rating of 100 stars, I do not think that would be enough to exemplify the professionalism and execution that Rubal displayed during my sister's wedding this past week. We initially had a different planner prior to Rubal who was not bad in our opinion, but I don't think the level of communication was going through with her. So, my sister hired Rubal, that too being 2-3 months away from the wedding. From day one, Rubal did more than she could to help us secure venues, vendors, deals to make our experience easier just everything in our power to make sure we were getting what we wanted. Not to mention, everything that she had found, fit either within our budget or lower than we had hoped for which was super awesome of her. When it came to planning things out, Rubal made sure every detail was covered. We were on multiple calls a month prior to get all the final nitty gritty details finalized and even then Rubal kept on going to make sure we got those handled and sorted. At the time of the actual events, I cannot praise her enough as everything was executed PERFECTLY. There was not a single thing that felt out of place or was headed in the wrong direction. At times, we did fall behind in terms of time, but as an Indian Korean fusion wedding, those things are bound to happen. And even when that did happen, Rubal and her team collectively would instruct with the most professional manner to make sure we were back on track. I have never seen someone act so calm and collected even if things were falling behind. That shows how dedicated and passionate she is about doing this. Seeing her behind the scenes was truly amazing because there was not a single sense of panic or worry that came from her and to me, that speaks nothing but professional. I honestly commend her the way she handled herself in all the events. Thank you! If you're looking for someone who knows what they're doing, will listen to what you need and understands overall how a wedding or an event should be executed, Rubal is your girl. She will spend as much time as she can so that your dream event comes true.     Planning an Indian wedding can be very stressful. Especially during a global pandemic and with a tight timeline (6 months). My husband and I were quickly overwhelmed by the number of decisions and moving parts so we went out in search of a planner to help us. Rubal was a lifesaver. From venue and date selection all the way to day of co-ordination, Rubal was there every step of the way to help make our lives easier and our day truly special. She simplified vendor selection by gathering our thoughts and requirements beforehand and presenting us with a short list to choose from with clear pros and cons. She made sure to keep us within budget and on schedule with payments. And when the big day finally came she kept things running smoothly from start to finish so we could enjoy it without stressing. I highly recommend Rubal to anyone who needs help with any part of the wedding planning process.

    Rubal is an amazing wedding coordinator and really helped us throughout the process even though she was technically only hired to be our day-of coordinator. Neither of us have family on the West Coast, so planning and organizing and working with vendors was extremely difficult and time consuming. Rubal helped keep us on track, wrangled my family, and kept my anxiety at bay. On the day of, everything pretty much went as smoothly as possible and I don't think a lot of this could've happened without her. I highly recommend working with her!

    When we set out to begin planning our big day, my partner and I became very budget conscious. This was particularly true after the first few consultations with venues and various vendors. Let's face it, San Francisco isn't a cheap place for anything let alone a wedding. We decided to roll up our sleeves and do what we could to get plans in order while controlling the costs. We were doing well and quite happy with the local vendors we found through referrals, which certainly helped ease the sticker shock. After a few months of emails, meetings, and stressing, it became obvious that no matter how much planning we put in, it still seemed like it was a never ending to do list. Although we had many of the important items checked off, we would still need someone to help execute and bring everything together. Being the scrappy planner I am, I turned to Thumbtack to see if I could find a local planner to do just that. Many of the quotes I received were way out of my price range and many businesses that reached out seemed way more interested in our venues over helping us. Then there was Rubal... From the start Rubal seemed to be more about the big day and uncovering our needs and wants. Her first question on our initial phone consultation was something to the effect of, "Tell me about yourself and your partner, what's your story and what are your hopes for the wedding?" She appreciated the diversity of our vendors, respected the fact that we were trying to own that part of the process, and recognized what her role needed for us to have our "day in paradise". Throughout the whole process, Rubal was nothing short of amazing. She was willing to negotiate a price we were comfortable with based on the amount of work we had already put in and although we had some outstanding vendors, she jumped in made sure we had a list of backups to fill any gaps. She was full of tips and tricks when it came to logistics and cost savings and would send us reminders of the little things we should think about that were outside her perview, but important none the less. She even showed up to the décor walk through the day after she was in an accident leaving her car totaled! With Rubal, our big to do list was finally shaping up to be an event we could imagine. The other thing about working with Rubal was her listening abilities and compassion. I even joked that she was my wedding therapist. Wedding planning is stressful, especially when you have a fiancé that likes to insert their opinion, but won't necessarily follow through with getting things accomplished. It can be a strain on any of your relationships whether you realize it in the moment or not. It was invaluable to have Rubal call me up, listen, and figure out how she could help not only get the task accomplished, but leave me feeling like was going to be okay. On the big day, everything went very smoothly. Rubal made sure if we were falling behind schedule, that we moved along so we could catch up. There were so many people and things going on that we wouldn't have been able to deal with without her. We ended up hearing stories and feedback from guests that we had no idea happened that night because Rubal would step in and resolve the issues before it got word to us. Not to sound cliché, but we were so lucky to be afforded our dream wedding and I can confidently say that it would not have been anything near that without Rubal and her team. I would happily recommend Events by Rubal to anyone looking to actually enjoy their wedding. When she says, "stress no more", she truly means it.

We were kindly welcomed by Leah and introduced to our planner, Yoko, who was amazing, carefully guiding and making our vision a reality, accommodating our preferences and budget, and helping us with the design and layout of the big day with all of our vendors. She provided multiple vendor options, communicated closely with them and us throughout the bidding and hiring process, and ensured we were all on the same page from planning through the walkthrough and up to the day of the event. One of the greatest things about this process was the clear, concise communication and organization that made planning, payments, and decision-making understandable, step by step, rather than a labyrinth of crossed wires and deadlines.  The day of our wedding was as effortless as could be. It was great to have the team from Two Perfect Events, along with Yoko and Leo, there to assist with setting up and taking down decorations and rentals, help guide guests, event staff, and our vendors, and ensure everything, including our deliveries and rentals, went according to plan. We also appreciated that our planners kept an eye on both of us the entire night to ensure we were doing well and enjoying the festivities, getting our food, making sure we were at the right place at the right time, and saving any items for our personal requests. We did not expect that Two Perfect Events would take behind-the-scenes photos and videos of the entire day and the in-person walkthroughs, which gave us a chance to reminisce on the process and quickly provide a glimpse of our families and friends outside the eyes of our wonderful wedding photographers.  We appreciated that our vendors were all in sync, and the coordinators ensured our entire process minimized the stress of planning, which was what we had hoped for all along. They provided us with good advice on choosing vendors, insurance for our wedding, and what to expect when working with multiple parties. It was evident that Two Perfect Events had considered multiple contingencies and scenarios in which snafus or unexpected issues may arise throughout the process, and we were glad that Yoko was always prepared for them, including giving us enough buffer time due to traffic delays so our guests could arrive on the big day.  Everyone complimented us on the evening, and it went by so smoothly. They commented that this was the least stressful and most fun wedding they've been to in a long time, which conveyed the vibe we were going for. We wanted it to be a fun yet intimate evening where everyone enjoyed getting together to celebrate, and we were delighted to celebrate that day with them. Gina was our top pick, and we were beyond relieved when she confirmed she was available for our wedding day! We booked her for the full 15-hour wedding day, and let me tell you, working with Gina was an absolute breeze! She's super organized, fun to be around, and made us feel completely at ease. She shared so many helpful wedding tips, was familiar with both the Catholic church ceremony and the Chinese tea ceremony, and guided us every step of the way. Gina was exactly what we needed to turn our vision into reality. We DIY'd all our decors, and she and her team set everything up perfectly within the tight schedule. The level of support she gave us was unreal - from venue walkthroughs to our weekly/monthly check-ins leading up to the big day. Immediately, I felt a sense of relief because Li quickly created a thorough design proposal for us to follow, communicated with the florist, and gave much guidance, which was something I desperately needed. Li has such great taste and vision. All the weddings she plans turn out beautifully. Li took what I had in mind and made it a reality. The only thing that could have been better was communication during the month of the wedding. Understandably, Li was juggling a lot of things because of all the postponed weddings in 2022. In the end, Li and Michelle (her coworker) pulled through and did an absolutely amazing job on the wedding day. On the day of, Michelle was our main day-of coordinator and she knew exactly what to do. All that needed to happen went seamlessly. If something went wrong, she took care of it and we didn't know about it. Li was also there for part of the day to help! They're both easy to work with and superb at what they do. Both of us are extremely busy re: our jobs and knew that we wouldn't be able to dedicate enough time to truly planning an event of this scale. If you're on the fence, go with Amazae. My husband, before we hired Amazae, was on the fence of whether or not we needed planning services. I told him that if we did not hire someone that there would be no wedding. By the time we had finished our venue search, he knew that I was totally right re: the amount of help you get by leveraging someone else's expertise. You do this once (hopefully) in your life. Amazae does this all the time. Amazae knew all the ins and outs of every venue that we could possibly think of in the Bay Area, Carmel, and Napa. They were able to tell us who was beer and wine only, who had a 10pm end time because of noise ordinances, and who required you to use certain caterers that were $x per head. This will save you SO much time and save you visits to random places that don't meet your requirements. Vendor sourcing - they are super good at this re: figuring out (or making you figure out what you like) who matches your style for every vendor, then finding one that fits in your budget. Most importantly, they will make sure everyone shows up (join any wedding FB group and read some horror stories). They will help you with all of the contracting and the collection of COIs, etc. Again, this would have been IMPOSSIBLE for myself and my now husband. We literally do not have the hours in the day to do this. This team is on top of everything - they will chase you down if they need to for answers for pieces of your event. They can make anything happen - from the weirdest requests to the most mundane. They are so professional, and they really make your wedding super personal. Amazae designed and executed a beautiful event from beginning to end that felt so authentic to us. Day of, they were there to take care of everything, and it was truly a flawless day. We could not asked for a better planner re: Crystal, Kaila, and the rest of the team. We put full trust in them re: the design of this event and the day of. Example: I honestly did not know what florals were going to be there, but they were so stunning. The strength of the Amazae team is in their ability to bring you and your personality into an event that is mostly structured a certain way. They also make your day as stress-free as possible. I cannot say enough positive things about this team and their ability to make your wedding great. If you're down to hand things off to someone else, I would say hand it off to them. It will be better than what you could have come up with yourself.

    Planning a wedding during a pandemic is hard, even a micro-wedding. You don't want to be cake…read moretasting or menu tasting, so you rely on experts. That's why we decided to hire an event planner for our daughter's wedding in January 2021. Even though it was a small backyard wedding, we wanted it to be memorable and elegant. We interviewed 3 different event planners, and got 3 rough quotes, all around the same ballpark. Amazae's quote, however, was the most detailed, breaking down a high & low range for each item (food, florals, rentals, photography, etc.) It was an easy choice to contract with them. Crystal came onsite for our first meeting, and I really didn't have a lot for her to go on. My daughter isn't the Pinterest type, so I just told Crystal the wedding colors and showed her pictures of the wedding gown and bridesmaid gowns. The rest of the planning was all done via zoom, emails, and a few phone calls. We worked mostly with Caitlin, who is an amazing planner. Each step along the way, she gave us several options to choose from. For example, she provided a list of 4 photographers, their quote for the day, their profile, their gallery, etc. Once all of our choices were made, she put together a design deck that gave us a preview of the entire wedding. It was more gorgeous than I envisioned. On the day of the wedding, Lisa came out to set everything up. She even picked up the florals and wedding cake to save us the delivery fees. It was a little hectic when I met her, and I probably spent 5 minutes with her showing her where everything was before we left for the church ceremony. And when we came back, she was driving off, leaving behind a magical transformation of yard. Everyone was stunned. The catering crew then took over and prepared a "Top Chef" level meal. And when they left, my kitchen was as clean as when they arrived. My husband commented, "Whatever we paid for this wedding, it was worth every penny." Haha. True. Although we did not purchase a full package from TDE, Carina and Jackson worked seamlessly with the rest of our chosen vendors. They (and the TDE team) were extremely organized, communicative, and supportive. One thing I really appreciated was that my husband was cc'd on every single email so that I wouldn't have to play middle man to relay every message to him as well. On the day of, Carina and Jackson went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. They were so thoughtful and considerate throughout the entire process. We got so many compliments from our family members about Jackson's MCing. Our wedding party also really loved how Carina kept everyone organized and on schedule. Otis was kind with great attention to detail from the start. Ultimately, we decided with the glam package and our contract was very clear to understand with cost breakdown for removal of specific services / add-ons. I updated it many times with Jessica, our planner, as we made changes throughout the months, and she was always so patient and clear. Our MC Otis did a wonderful job with maintaining flow of the program. Otis was also working as DJ for a good portion of the evening, so props to him! We had closer to an hour compared to 1.5 hours of open dancing because we were behind schedule, but everybody was on the dance floor and he kept the party going seamlessly. Weddings are hectic and there are so many moving parts; we did get behind schedule but we were still able to do everything we wanted to do. Our photo & video services were set to end, but Otis was very professional in discussing with us if we wanted to extend our video services, communicative on additional cost, at the moment. Our photographer, Ben, along with the team Stanford and videographer, Christina, were so fun to work with. Ben was great at providing direction, which is especially helpful since we were not used to posing. I have not received photo & video yet as it has only been a week, but from an experience standpoint, they were attentive to detail, communicative, and glided effortlessly through the event. My makeup artist, Vivi, is the sweetest person. She was super attentive to detail and my particular skin type. I was worried about makeup because I don't wear heavy makeup often. I ended up paying for a make-up trial, and I was so happy working with Vivi that I had no worries for the wedding day. We also added-on make up for our mothers, which Vivi did the morning of. The reception decor turned out so pretty! Everything was set-up as scheduled. I was really happy with the welcome backdrop and name sign. It was also great to take pictures with guests with the backdrop since we had time during cocktail hour. We asked TDE to incorporate a large screen as the backdrop of our sweetheart table, so we found an example from a previous wedding they did, and it turned out exactly as expected. We added the photo-booth, which was so popular with the guests! There were so many cool props and our guests were having tons of fun with it. Only problem was, the playground was closed for renovations. Nicole and her team didn't let us know that the playground was closed although they arrived on-site 2 hours earlier. When I arrived, I had to scramble with the team to move the setup to the park next-door. Everything was OK at the end and even some of our guests offered help. One of the main reason we book with Nicole is that when things go wrong, I'd like her to step up and resolve them. But instead, she CHARGED US $300 for moving to the next playground. Wow, we were expecting apology, not a $300 bill. Even if you are a repeating and happy client of Nicole (like us), I advise you to start looking for more professional services with other organizers. We appreciate the many events she helped us until she dropped the ball completely and insulted us by charging us extra afterwards. -- Nicole responded by saying that they couldn't have foresaw that the playground was closed. This is false as her team showed me that they sent Nicole messages and videos of playground being closed before they setup anything. They could have communicated this with us earlier and moved to This is beyond surprising on how Nicole handles unexpected cases. Instead of trying to prove she is right, it would have been easier to say "shit happens" and make it right... Very surprising and weak response.

The vibes felt right, and we loved that she would help us bring our vision to life by including design. We picked the partial planning & design package but honestly, after working with her, we wished we had just done full service planning. In our first meeting we gave her an idea of what we had envisioned for the day, including a shared pinterest board. From there she made a design deck that really brought our day to life. Alex provided the best vendor recommendations (including for some with whom she had relationships and discounts), thoughtful design ideas, and guidance on the overall flow of the day. She joined us for our food tasting, met with us in person to pick out our rentals, and she coordinated a site visit with the vendors in preparation for the wedding. We didn't think we needed a content creator, but she even provided us with one and it was a great addition to capturing the memories of the day! Throughout the planning process, Alex was easy to reach, responsive, collaborative, open to feedback, and genuinely easy to work with. On the day of the wedding, Alex brought everything together seamlessly. She handled every detail behind the scenes, even things that didn't go as planned were handled quickly and professionally. I'm sure you were not sick that day because I watched your Instagram stories that day and you were at another event, maybe a bigger event than mine. If you were truly sick I'm sure you would have to communicate it to me. This whole day was a disappointment since I loved your work on your social media that's why I booked you. But seems like money is what you value more. You offer to pay me to take my post down yet you don't respond to my emails. So at the end of the day, it's you who can't communicate. You choose not to respond and now you want to act like this, years later.
