TPE was highly recommended by a friend and I'm so glad we chose to work with Leah and Yoko! Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and everything stayed on schedule which is almost unheard of. Yoko is such a sweetheart and she's always a professional and calming presence both virtually and in person. I found these pictures of Yoko helping our 5 flower girls/ringbearers do a rehearsal before the ceremony - just an example of all the small details that TPE will take care of so your wedding day is flawless! She also saved us one of each dessert and brought leftover desserts to our suite because she knew I was looking forward to trying all the flavors. We started working with TPE over a year in advance of our wedding (yes, we were overprepared) so Yoko was our sounding board for every decision big and small. TPE provides a wealth of helpful Google docs on everything from vendor questionnaires to budget planners to decor packing lists, and they're extremely organized from start to finish. As a couple who knew nothing about weddings, it was so helpful to have Yoko's guidance - especially for things that people don't usually think about like transportation, hotel block contracts, and photo shot lists. Overall, it was such a joy working with TPE and our wedding wouldn't have happened without them!

Working with Two Perfect Events is always a true collaboration, and that's something we value deeply as a photo and video team. One of the things they do exceptionally well is setting clear expectations for clients, not just from a planning perspective, but with a genuine understanding of how photography and videography work, what we need, and how to support the creative process. They're incredibly attentive to their clients and guests, and to the entire vendor team. That level of awareness and care creates an environment where everyone works together seamlessly, helping one another when needed. That teamwork directly translates to a smoother wedding day, a better experience for the couple, and ultimately stronger images and films. This kind of approach requires experience, intention, and over-the-top communication skills, and Two Perfect Events consistently delivers on all of it. Their attention to detail elevates both the aesthetics and the overall experience, often in ways guests and clients never see but can certainly feel. Behind the scenes, weddings rarely go exactly as planned. What we appreciate most is knowing that Two Perfect Events plans for the unexpected. When things shift or challenges arise, they handle it with calm professionalism, clarity, and care. This allows us to stay focused on telling the story of the day.

Great, adorable venue with catered food, photobooth, open bar

Leah organized our 20-year high school reunion party and I can't recommend her enough! She stays so calm under pressure and respectfully listens to ideas while also adding input on what is best, given her years of expertise. It's the little things that matter, such as sending calendar invites for virtual meetings, that she does automatically that helped us stay organized. I'll never forget how she stayed up until 12:45am to make sure our logo for the photobooth was perfect! There was a lot of back and forth with the designer, but she kept at it until our vision was executed. The company she recommended we cater from was excellent, and we had go die for desserts as well. Book her company now for not just wedding but other events you need help throwing!

It's been exactly one year to the day that we got married with Yoko as our wedding planner as I write this. 365 days later we are still very happy with our decision to choose Two Perfect Events and we continue to be very satisfied with our experience upon reflection. Yoko was the most patient, kind, helpful and calm presence every single day we interacted. She is exactly the personality I needed as a person with anxiety! I remember being in the middle of the process and feeling so thankful that she helped move us along with our to do list because I would be on our Zoom calls tired after work, in no mood to make any decisions, and we would feel very motivated and purposeful after talking with her. And then the actual wedding day came and everything went perfectly. And it was because we had an organized and communicative team of professionals guided by Yoko to make it all run smoothly. I have attended weddings recently and it's become clear after my own that the wedding planner can make or break your wedding day experience. I left my wedding feeling depressed..... that I couldn't live that day over and over again. We love you, Yoko!!!!!!!

Only problem was, the playground was closed for renovations. Nicole and her team didn't let us know that the playground was closed although they arrived on-site 2 hours earlier. When I arrived, I had to scramble with the team to move the setup to the park next-door. Everything was OK at the end and even some of our guests offered help. One of the main reason we book with Nicole is that when things go wrong, I'd like her to step up and resolve them. But instead, she CHARGED US $300 for moving to the next playground. Wow, we were expecting apology, not a $300 bill. Even if you are a repeating and happy client of Nicole (like us), I advise you to start looking for more professional services with other organizers. We appreciate the many events she helped us until she dropped the ball completely and insulted us by charging us extra afterwards. -- Nicole responded by saying that they couldn't have foresaw that the playground was closed. This is false as her team showed me that they sent Nicole messages and videos of playground being closed before they setup anything. They could have communicated this with us earlier and moved to This is beyond surprising on how Nicole handles unexpected cases. Instead of trying to prove she is right, it would have been easier to say "shit happens" and make it right... Very surprising and weak response.

I booked a Tuesday evening class during winter break. You get a confirmation email and that's it. I was worried about prep but they prepare everything for you and thought up everything as well. Small parking lot. They had us wash our hands when we arrived and then each kiddo had a color sheet with crayons. Nice touch but defeats the purpose of washing our hands first. The two of us shared a table with another mom with their toddler. Each toddler had their own set up to make 6 cookies. Everything was pre measured and it wasn't too messy. We were able to bake 6 cookies and use whatever toppings - she got to choose between chocolate chips, m&ms, white chocolate chips and these dried fruits. They read a book to the kids and then made milk shakes as a group. Each kid got a small cup and to place chocolate chips/m&Ms in. The cookies were really delicious and my child loved the milk shake. One thing is that you can't stop other kiddos from touching your items/food. Would return.

Pros: The shared table experience was great for meeting new people and having extra sets of brains for multitasking. Cons: Seating is random and the experience is shared; ie: one burner for 4, and the end products are shared. Our dish ended up being over-salted, and our experience was halved in interactive-ness due to the luck of the draw of seating. Never have I had a spoon or spatula taken away from my hands so fast before. And most certainly never have I had someone critique the knives and actively give the duller knife to us. This shared table experience was essentially a fight for all (for us). BUT this is just dependent on the attendees and who you're seated with. The other shared tables didn't seem to have such issues. For a more interactive learning experience, I recommend the private table to avoid the risk of randomization. On the bright side, we got to see how other couples interact, whether it was actively taking items from their partner's hands because they were doing the task wrong (ie: mixing eggs wrong??) or the couple next to us taking cute photos of each other and sharing drinks while enjoying their time together. The structure of the class was decent, organized, and well-paced. All ingredients were measured and prepared. Baking, cleaning, and chilling items were taken care of by staff. Prepping the dish (ie: battering items, mixing ingredients) and active cooking were the only things needed to be done. The instructor would explain the ingredients provided and the instructions during the instruction period for the dish at hand. Following the instructions, prep/cooking occurs while the instructor supervises and provides aid or guidance as needed. All in all, I had a great experience. The staff was nice, especially the instructor, and I felt taken care of during my cooking class experience. Would return for pasta night-- most definitely for the private table experience.

I recently had the absolute pleasure of working alongside Andrea for an extravagant, Wicked-themed birthday celebration at the Grand Bay Hotel in San Francisco. As a DJ, I've been part of my fair share of complex productions--but this event? This one had layers. We're talking immersive design, multiple performances, theatrical moments, choreographed timing, lighting cues, and the kind of attention to detail that would make Broadway stage managers sweat. And yet--through every twist, change, last-minute curveball, and behind-the-scenes chaos--Andrea stayed calm, composed, and genuinely joyful. That smile never left her face. It wasn't just impressive; it was inspiring. What struck me most was Andrea's emotional intelligence and natural leadership. She wasn't just checking off a list--she was reading the room, checking in on vendors, comforting the family, and still had the foresight to ensure every beat of the evening landed with intention. For us as DJs, a successful event relies heavily on the planner's clarity, timing, and communication. Andrea excelled at all three. Her cues were crystal clear, her flexibility never compromised the bigger picture, and her collaboration felt seamless. It's rare to find someone who can hold both the creative and logistical sides of event production in perfect harmony. Andrea is that rare gem. And beyond the work, there's a real human connection there--a warmth that draws people in, makes vendors want to go above and beyond, and creates the kind of synergy that guests can feel, even if they don't see it. After this event, I'm not only grateful--I'm inspired. I genuinely hope to work with Andrea and Mia Emma Love Events more in the future. I believe that if we continue to collaborate, we could create experiences that are unforgettable, meaningful, and consistently next-level. Andrea, thank you for the trust, the kindness, the professionalism, and for being exactly the kind of event partner every creative hopes for. I'm honored to have been a part of this one--and I'm already looking forward to the next. With deep appreciation, DJ Brandon Beach
