The room was beautifully decorated and lined with pink pedicure massage chairs the perfect size for kids allowing all girls to receive full Mani/Pedi's and Facials! Cotton candy topped mocktails surrounded by great music and shouts of "Happy Birthday" keeping the festivities fun and alive! This was a great pamper party giving the divas a chance to party and relax and wind down for their sleepover! The Dazzle Girls that facilitated the party were perfect and knew exactly how to cater to little girls! Well wouldn't you know, the wind whisked some off the strings, and either a door frame or a thorny bush deflated some others. Not only were most of the other party stores in the city closed, but the few that were open couldn't replace the large silver Mylar ballon letters spelling out L-O-V-E that I lost. Enter Balloons & Events Over Atlanta. Not only did the owner say she could replace the large letter I lost, but she agreed to leave her family on a Sunday afternoon, while her shop was closed, and drive through a torrential downpour (complete with flash flooding) to arrive within the hour. On top of that, she arrived with the smile and calm, pleasant attitude that I would never be able to bring under the same circumstances. She had me in and out in 5 minutes, and even affixed a sturdy weight to each letter so it wouldn't carry away in the wind. Moreover, instead of taking the time to boot up her payment system, she took down my credit card info and agreed to process my transaction an email a receipt Monday, so I could get back to my hotel and get ready in time for the wedding. Goes without saying, and it's already in their name, but I'll go ahead and say it: I highly recommend Balloons & Events Over Atlanta for any balloon and event needs all over Atlanta. As my (now) hubs and I were planning our wedding, I told him that having a photo booth at our…read morereception was an absolute "must" for me. And not just any random photo booth - I wanted a vendor who provides clear, high-quality printouts of the photos to our guests immediately after taking them. After attending numerous Yelp events and several wedding expos which featured various photo booths for rent, it was a very easy decision to select ShutterBooth for our wedding. ShutterBooth initially only featured actual, closed-in "booths," much like classic photo booths. However, they now have an "Open" option as well for taking "photo booth"-style photos! Basically, you can choose to have more space (hint: squeeze in more friends!) and not be limited to size of a physical booth. Awesome! After considering the four packages that were available at the time, we selected the "Memories" package, which included a Memory Book plus a Party Prop box and 100 bookmark sleeves. The bookmark sleeves are clear vinyl sleeves in which guests could place their own ShutterBooth printouts and take home as wedding favors! Although the ShutterBooth attendant usually brings the sleeves on the day of the events, I had requested to pick them up in advance from their Atlanta office so that I could tie our personalized ribbons to them. They had no problem accommodating this request! Additionally, since I had met Berlin Onumonu, the owner/operator of the Atlanta ShutterBooth office, at an open house for a wedding venue and I remembered ShutterBooth at the huge Christmas Yelp event in 2013, he was kind enough to upgrade my package to the "Open" option at no additional cost! I had a lot of questions before signing the agreement for ShutterBooth to be at our wedding, and all of them were answered by Johnny Rajbout (Sales Representative) via email. After we had confirmed them as our vendor, Megan Metcalf (Client Manager) helped us with our print layout customization. We have to state that customer service was excellent! Megan made it so easy for us to select the style and correct colors for our wedding print layout. On our wedding day, it goes without saying that ShutterBooth was a HUGE hit! All of our guests - including our parents and older relatives (like Ray's grandmother!) - raved about how they loved taking the photos with the silly, random props that were provided. They also enjoyed having extra copies of their printouts placed into our Memory "Guestbook," in which they wrote personalized notes for me and the hubs! Our amazing ShutterBooth attendant (wish I could remember her name!) went above and beyond by being (and staying!) super friendly and happy to provide the printouts (and extra bookmark sleeves that she brought along) to our excited guests and make our gorgeous Memory Book. Overall, ShutterBooth Atlanta gets a full 5 stars because I can't think of anything that could have made our experience with them better! Thanks SO very much to Berlin, Johnny, Megan, and our ShutterBooth attendant! We could only afford to hire her as a day of coordinator, but she went above and beyond to help us through every phase. She quickly understood what our vision was for the event was and did everything in her power to make it a reality. She is decisive (when you can't be), ready with a trusted vendor recommendation (when you need it), extremely professional and has a good eye for what's hot (and what's not). She also has a wickedly good sense of humor. She is also fabulous at negotiating prices with vendors so I suggest you get that package if you can swing the cost. We couldn't, but Ashley still helped us get a good price with certain vendors and even came to my dress fitting although I'd already used up the consultations included in my package. In response to the other reviewer: it may take her a little while to respond to emails because she has other clients with weddings taking place before yours. But she always got back to us in less than 48 hours with very detailed responses and her response time was even faster--mere hours--during the last month of the planning. I cannot imagine what the planning would have been without such wealth of information just an email away. Unlike some other planners I've heard stories about, Ashley worked behind the scenes on our wedding day to make everything ran smoothly and only came to us with questions when it was absolutely necessary. You have no idea how important this is. We got to spend time with our family, friends and each other instead of worrying about the small stuff. As a result, the entire event was a success and everyone is still raving that it was the most fun and beautiful wedding they have ever been to. We had a blast too! We would absolutely hire her again without any hesitation and enthusiastically recommend her. She is the best of the best!
