"Absolute disaster. I am a returning customer who previously paid them $3999.00 on American Express in June 2025, but this recent job completely ruined my screen in concrete patio. The company only sent out One crew member who rushed through both the pressure wash and the permanent seal in exactly one hour and 15 minutes. By spraying immediately after washing, he trapped a wet red clay slurry directly inside the concrete matrix. The patio is now permanently ruined with awful, dark reddish-brown stains locked under the sealer. To make matters worse, the worker recklessly left my backyard gate wide open when he fled. CEO Steve Nelson and Director of Operations have completly ignored my emails. Thankfully, I have stopped payment on my check and frozen the deposit with American Express. Another one-star review. Everything went as planned back in November when our patio was sealed. I was happy that there was a 25-year guarantee, especially this part - "prevents root systems from pushing through concrete". Since weeds are popping up thru the concrete, I called about a fix - you know, the 25-year guarantee and all. Response - "Our sealant protects the concrete itself from root systems breaking through but cannot prevent root systems from coming through cracks or separation between slabs." So, apparently, even if they put their "top-notch" seal on top of concrete, it isn't strong enough to withstand a weed. Then why did I need this, again? read more

I used Ever-Seal to seal my three-year-old deck. The salesman told me it's in great shape since it's newer. The treatment team came in the day after the salesman-recommended contractor stripped and cleaned my deck, which was Dec 01, 2022. I inspected my deck after the stripping & cleaning and didn't see issue. Fast-forward to now (1.5 years after the treatment): I'm seeing dry rot appear throughout my deck, as well as some buckling. One piece of wood that was a cap (pictured) really rotted out. In looking at the end of the boards, I see wood that is dry and cracked, which looks like the "Theirs" comparison picture on their website. In reading the reviews here, I'm taken back by the responses of the company. In fact, one started out, "Normally, these are the types of jobs that we would not have accepted in the first place, or considered a can not do,' [but we took your money anyway]." This along with the over-explaining/excusing/accusing responses raises concerns about the honesty of their services. For those who are wondering if they should do this to their deck, there are top-bottom penetrative sealants that you can buy and even test first. I wish I had known this. read more

Maybe the large deck I have is sealed but it looks awful. 3 or so months after they supposedly did job, they came back because even the sales person was concerned because the deck looked worse than before. However, they only gave a "courtesy wash" this second visit. BUT left it looking way worse than they found it. My deck is natural wood bur has white wood framing. All the "liquid" dripped around and I was left with a bigger mess to clean. Not to mention having to pay someone to take all the furniture out of the deck. And put it back on. I most disgusted with EverSeal in Gallatin! My husband and I built a sunroom with lots of windows and cedar wood. When the salesman came out, he wrote on the document that they would tape the exterior windows and two glass doors. before they applied the stain. When the workers came, they did not follow those instructions. This left a chemical stain that disfigured our windows. The owner was not willing to make amends or take anything off the final price which was $3,206. I did not submit my final payment until they cleaned the windows. They can't get the stuff off the windows and they are taking me to court to collect the final payment even though they have not finished the job. read more

If I could give this place -100,000,000,000 stars, I would! This is the worst business I have ever had the displeasure of working with. They lie in their presentation, making promises of waterproofing, wood-eating insect protection, stain prevention, wood cracking prevention, and more. After spending thousands on their product, I reached out to Ever-Seal to ask why I was still seeing carpenter bees eating my wood, along with numerous cracks and black mold. Their response? "The cracks were present before application," which is completely false. There may have been a few hairline cracks before, but now I have large, open "wounds" in the wood. It looks worse now than it did before the treatment. Instead of sending a technician to inspect the deck, they had me send photos and then did nothing but make excuses for why it looks so awful. They do not stand behind their motto of "seal it once, forever." Now I'll have to pay even more money to someone else to properly seal the wood instead of spraying on the nonsense Ever-Seal used. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I was really impressed with the initial job. I waited five days to really look at it. Once I did I noticed there was areas that missed the treatment and I had a green mold starting to grow on my wood. I contacted everseal and they told me basically that it is what it is. They don't guarantee the wood, but I that is not what the salesman said and that not want my contract said. There is even a wasp nest still under my deck that verifies that poor job. read more

They advertise this product with photos showing stunning before and after treatments. The emphasis is on how wonderful everything looks. The salesman told me that when my driveway got dirty, I could just hose it off. What they fail to tell you is that in order to keep it looking so great you will have to keep up with professional cleaning. Anything that can stain will stain, just like before treatment. They do provide a list of what it does which is basically preserving the concrete, retarding oil,grease and salts from penetrating the concrete and providing "easier spill cleanup." I spent several thousand dollars on three walkways and a large driveway and everything is the same as before. My driveway is turning black and it will not hose off. read more

Do not recommend... Maybe this product is good for wood. My concrete has not returned to its original state as marketed and sold. They pressure sprayed some paint off a wall in my garage and pressure washed paint off my front stoop columns, but it states they don't fix or repair their wrongdoings. I'm somewhat disappointed that the branding did not match the end result... especially after 3k down the drain. Now my concrete has different colors of white and gray when it rains. Update to Business response: Please see signed contract under work to be completed which states "clean, restore, concrete to original look". Also the $100 dollar discount mentioned in owner reply was for a just under 3% "military discount". As much as I enjoy wasting time to collaborate with their team. I choose to inform other potential customers of other options based on what they seek. Maybe it would be a good business move for everseal to diversify their product line by applying top coats as well, vice becoming defensive/reactive to customer feedback. Ever-seal "sealed" my walkway. Before the third anniversary of the product application, there was discoloration and what I believe to be mold regrowing on the walkway. I inquired and sent requested pictures but was told it was only dirty and I should use a Krud Cleaner product. I asked to have someone come out to evaluate the walkway but was told I should just clean off the dirt. Very dissatisfied and disappointed that a product guaranteed to work for 25-30 years didn't even work for 3 years. This should serve as a warning to others to get a written guarantee without the fine print indicating they will provide satisfaction to you if the product does not do as advertised. First of all, AMAZING customer service. From the moment I called to request an estimate to the final payment, the ladies in the office 10/10! Very helpful with my many questions and concerns and they explained the warranty thoroughly when I did not understand it at first. The representative that came to my home to provide me with a quote was very professional and polite, he also answered all my questions. The day of the installation the crew came to greet me and explained what they were about to do, I left them to do the work and I was amazed by the beautiful results! Waste of money!!!! This product does not work, we paid 8k to have roof leaks fixed with everseal and our roof still leaks. When called they tried to blame it on the ac unit not being sealed around it. Umm isn't that your job to seal around it since the ac is on the roof!!! They said we have to call a AC company to come out and seal around it on the roof. Why wouldn't they disclose that before taking our money and say by the way you're still going to have a leak until you get an ac company out here... They are liars and scam artists. So far I am very unhappy with the jobs done on my pavers. I have spoken with your office and my sales person and if this is not right after the 90 days, I will have to dispute my charges of $1,200.00. I was told by my salesperson that my pavers will look like they did when new but they do not. Very black still and your system took out most of the sand between the pavers. This company is unbelievable! I am a new widow who they took for $5,966! Did not even finish pressure washing my driveway and no sealer used. That 25 year warranty is not worth the card it is written on. My lawyer and BBB have tried to help and these people don't respond. We normally use thompson's water seal, but we saw this online. Thought it might save us. Some money they came out inspected gave us an estimate a little over $3000. This deck was just over one year old 25 year warranty. locks out mold, mildew prevents, cracking further cracking splitting rotting warping. We had them come out. July 2021 it is now 2024. We have bored riding splitting like nothing I've ever seen. If you called them, they say we bought wood that was already rotting when you look online at some of their reviews people are saying the same thing we are some kind of fungus is destroying the deck from their product they don offer any help except they will come out and seal the new boards we have to put up they don't stand behind their warranty. They suck. I would run before I let these people come out my property again. They are horrible. Don't recommend them to anybody. read more

They convinced me that they could remove stain from my pergola so it would match the work they did on the deck. They made a mess out of it and then told me that they wouldn't be able to do it. They took what they charged for the pergola off my bill but no consideration for the damage they did to it when they tried to remove the stain. There services are really expensive to start with. It would have been cheaper for me to have a painter reseal the deck every 5 years. For what I paid I could have had a painter do it 5 or 6 times. read more

Responding to a commercial to radio station WOKI-FM, we contracted with Ever-Seal, a company located in Hendersonville, Tennessee, to clean and "seal" two decks and a screened-in porch at our home at a cost of $8,086.00. After the first subsequent rain, we were surprised to not see water standing on the decks as would be the case if it were sealed with a normal sealant. Upon inquiry, we were told that the Ever-Seal process does not actually seal the top of the wood but seals the inside wood fibers. Some months after the process was completed, we noticed signs of dry rot under the smaller (10' x 20') deck, the first deck treated. When contacted by us, the Ever-Seal representative inspected the damage and stated in the presence of witnesses that the damage due to the fungus was caused by the failure of the Ever-Seal crew to adequately clean the spray equipment prior to applying the sealant, and he stated that the damaged material would be replaced under the warranty. When no action was taken, we followed up by telephone and were told that the warranty would not cover repairs to the deck, but they would "reseal" the deck again after they were made. We followed up with a certified letter demanding that Ever-Seal make good on their warranty guarantee to "harden and strengthen the wood by up to 25% and to retard mold, mildew, and fungus". Ever-Seal did not respond. We had to have the decking and floor joists on the deck replaced at a cost of over $2,000. read more

This company shouldn't have any stars. I'm a former employee and they are by far the most shady company I've ever worked with and personally ever witnessed. Most of the jobs I've worked on was simply done with some soap and a lot of the time we didn't use anything but just water and pressure because that's all that was needed before applying the sealant. But they will tell you a chemical which is more expensive is needed for it to be done right. And that's not fair to any customer. They also aren't loyal to their own employees and are very shady with pay. I've asked numerous times for a paystub because my paychecks were not adding up and 2 months later I have yet to be shown any proof of what I was getting paid for and what was taken out . After I decided to move on only 4 people were left and it's not surprising why that is. DO NOT GO THROUGH THIS COMPANY.
