They have been taking care of my pool since July for me and for the past year for the real estate company before I purchased .flew down from up north. Pool was clean. check the chlorine and pH was dead on. Asked for a heater to be installed and clean up the piping and install a new timer. Everything was installed in less that a week . Something was wrong with my pool and it was difficult to even find an electrician in August 2022 but Everclear came out and solved the problem by replacing the motor. A very popular pool supply company told me they couldn't even make an appointment until September. There was lots of rain and lightning and in September 2022 the motor was under warranty and it died. Everclear was so prompt and professional and replaced the motor no questions asked. I have used this company before and I would highly recommend them. read more

Worse pool service ever. Had to terminal service. For 3 straight weeks, the person maintaining my pool left the same dead frog in the pool w/o scooping it out. He would spend the most 2-3 minutes servicing the pool. For $90.00 dollars look elsewhere. read more

Office sucks, lazy girls working up front they can't answer the phone or even communicate with customers and technicians. They don't even have enough equipment to full service pools. If you want your pool cleaned I'd suggest you go somewhere else. read more

We have had Everclear Pool Service a couple of years and only great service. Since they now have new owners our service has gone down hill. We are scheduled to have our pool serviced on Friday's. Again another Friday has passed with no service and no phone call from Everclear. Our chlorinator is empty and temp's are warm and no one answer's the phone at their office. Last week shock was added on Friday and the water didn't clear up till Monday. I guess we will be looking for a new service. read more

Due to the previous positive reviews, we signed up with Everclear for weekly pool service starting in early January, and prepaid for one month in advance. Service was agreed to occur between Thursdays-Saturdays, at their Convenience. Except no one showed up. I called, and was told they couldn't provide service on these days. Ok, understand- but what about my prepayment? Asked that my check be returned or a refund issued. Was told the bookkeeper wasn't available. Well it has been two months, several phone calls, and an email. No response. Don't do business with these people! They are NOT as good as their word! read more

Kevin has sold the business to someone else and it has fallen apart . Reliability isn't there. Had 3 no call/no shows in the last 2 weeks to have work done. Each time Michelle at their office has promised to have someone come out and each time no one shows up. Each time i have changed my work schedule to be here to go over things with them. Was told by them they have had people quit and fired during this transition. Tired of waiting around to get work done. Currently have a green pool and now I'm moving on. If you are considering using them, don't go by past reviews because they were only as good because of Kevin. read more

I have had Everclear for 3 years. I have gone thru numerous of technicians. They seem to last about 6 to 12 weeks at the max. My days are constantly being switched. They were supposed to service my pool on Friday last two weeks never showed up no phone call. And when Monday comes nobody calls me to explain why they weren't here I have to call them and let them know nobody showed up today being Friday second week they have been showing up I called the office left a message with Stephanie at 4 o'clock and no one has returned my call and they are gone for the weekend. My landscaper saw the technician drive-by park at the end of the block for five minutes and then drive by my house if they came in as promised and didn't blow me off and bill me for a service that they didn't use I would say overall they're a halfway decent service. They do send you an email as soon as they service your pool so you have that proof that they came and you could do online payments. Seems since the new management came over something has changed very unhappy with of Everclear I will be looking elsewhere read more

I wish I had seen all the one-star reviews before I hired them, I would have kept looking. If you cannot depend on your pool people to do the job and support you when equipment has to be replaced, and then when you do it on your own, give your pool to someone else without even discussing it, you need to find someone else, and I am. They let the pump burn up (18 months old and working fine) and then wanted TWENTY FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS to replace it. Um, no. (And I don't look stupid so I don't know why they thought I would go for that.) I have gotten the exact same pump I had, which will be easy to install since the fittings are all the same, but CLINT refuses. So I am talking with my plumber and should be able to get it running for about 1/6 of what they wanted. At least this time they asked. The last big fix they said they needed to do cost me just under $200 and I didn't know that until the deed was done. I could have done what they did (and have, in the past) in 30 minutes. BTW, I didn't know they had fired me until I received an email this morning. But then, they guy they "transferred" me to got fired by them at the drop of a hat a couple of weeks ago. But... he can take care of my pool but they wouldn't have him? There's something wrong with the mom and son who are running this company. From the reviews it looks like they were good, once. Maybe. I have been using Everclear for four years with no complaints, until they were purchased by a new owner. First they raised the rates without notifying me. Next they stopped showing up on my regular cleaning day and popped by whenever they could work me in. A bad move on their part as I have a very large, protective dog who has to be in the house when they come. And today was incredible, two young men brushed the sides of my pool, took a net and "skimmed" the top and left. They didn't test the chemicals, they didn't add salt and they certainly didn't clean the filter. I have no idea when that was last done! We are retired, so most times someone is home when they come to service the pool, so I know I am using the word "service" quite loosely. I truly wanted to do a review on their website, but I couldn't access it. I wonder if that is intentional. I left them a message today and will call them if they don't return the call, and I will be looking for a new pool service. read more

I had a great experience with Everclear up until the new owners took over. My regular pool tech, Raul (who is fantastic) was out one week and sent a substitute. First, she was late after saying she would be there in 30 minutes and right after they left, I went to go close my automatic gates. These automatic gates take a remote to close them. I walked down to the gates and they were closed already and the alarm sounding. They were forced closed and when they are closed, they lock. I was unable to open them with the remote at this point. I called Everclear immediately and was told I would be called back. No phone call. I was locked in for the night. I called the next day and was told that the owner would be calling me back and that they would be paying the repair bill. The repair to the gates was $125. I called Everclear 3x and each time I was told the owner would be calling me and then I was told they were not going to pay the bill and they were not going to finish out the month that was already paid for (on the day he was supposed to be here). I indicated that I would take it to small claims court if it was not taken care of. I received a phone call later from the office (not the owners) that a check would be mailed for the $125 plus 1/2 of my month's payment for services that were not rendered. I was paying $90 a month and the new owners chose to lose a customer over the $125 repair bill. They did finally reimburse me and the owner did finally call and leave a message, but only after he saw my review, because he asked me to take them down and told me that what I said in my review was not true. The owner should have called me the day it happened, like I was promised and came to see the damage instead of assuming the customer is lying. I do not recommend. It's a real shame the old owners sold, at least Kevin would have called to find out what happened. This new owner did not even give me the courtesy to tell him how I know that his substitute tech forced closed the gate. read more
