Good prices, good selection of things from vegetables, snacks, Indian beauty items, etc. highly recommend the samosas (they have a little take out restaurant attached to the grocery store). This is a great hole in the wall (almost literally) Indian takeout spot. There is a small dine in space, but it's really a takeout restaurant. They do not like black people. I went in here to purchase some fruity drinks as I am pregnant and cannot drink alcohol like everyone else and the lady told me $10 minimum purchase so I asked for 5 samosas and she could not look more disgusted. I wondered what I did because I KNOW I pronounced it correctly but she still tossed me the receipt and wouldn't hand me any of my things. I had to reach across the countertop (pregnant and all) to get my stuff from her end. And no I didn't get a bag :). The look of disgust on her face the entire time I was in front of her was so embarrassing and when I told my family, they reminded me that most brown people are indeed racist and cannot stand black people. Worse service and treatment by the owner of this store. He is a big miser who charges more money than the cost specified on the product. When I questioned him, he gave some silly reason. He and his store is a piece of a shit. I got samosa here with flies. The store has issues with cleanliness and hygiene. I wish I could have negative rating. read more

Horrible service and poor management. Issue 1: I had to wait for 30 mins to get my order. Random people walk to the food counter and take the to go orders meant for others. Totally unacceptable behavior. Issue 2: there is no clear direction on where the checkout lines are. People cut lines and no one in counter has a clue who to take next. Very disorganized. read more

Everest is a rice and spice that has a small eat in/ takeaway restaurant. Not the best Indian food I've ever had, but delicious nonetheless. You would find pretty much everything here w.r.t. South Asian food/grocery.. Most Indian brands are available along with fresh produce.. You won't find a lot of choices in produce but yet will find Indian choices. They are opening up a restaurant inside the store as well and have done some rearrangement of aisles.. read more

The attitude of the owner isn't good, very poor service. He doesn't treat his customers well and even tend to yell at them at times.

I regularly visited this shop, never checked the price, never checked the expiry totally relied on them, one day unlikely bought one two minute cooking food and by chance looked at the date and it was expired, quickly called the shop, he did not admit that I bought it from his shop, in fact I was suspected that I bought it from somewhere and was trying to return them. No costomer friendly, no fresh veges, unfair billing. read more
