I don't think I've ever seen a public rink in such a state. The ice was absolutely chewed up with deep ruts and divots. Because the ice hadn't been zambonied the picks of the ice skates caught continuously in the ruts making it difficult to skate smoothly for more than a moment or two. There is nowhere secure to put your shoes or purse. Despite signs indicating they'd play music, there was none and signs forbidding use of ear buds for safety reasons. And then there are the people with the "walkers". Mainly small kids but the walkers are left on the ice wherever people seem to feel like leaving them. Like the "lunch break" opportunity here! It's great. This year a group of us came and many (4 or 5) of the kids didn't get to skate, didn't have enough sizes ... That was sad. I did notice the skates need to be recycled rips and laces were in poor shape. Need a few more staff during winter break "lunch break" shift. read more

Skated here for the first time today! I have officially skated at ALL of the rinks in the NW Washington region. After today, this one lands pretty high on my list--although it's quite a bit out of my way to skate at on the regular. It is the least expensive rink in the region! I own my own skates, and it cost me $6 to get in. (Most rinks are $7.50 admission, Kent is $12.) The ice was in good shape. It is hard hockey ice (unlike Highland Arena, who caters more to figure skaters). I went for their Sunday afternoon public skate, and it was definitely the least crowded I've seen ANY rink on Sunday afternoon--which certainly added to its appeal. Staff was friendly, parking was easy--though I can see how it would get difficult during a higher traffic time than 2:30pm on Sunday... All in all, if I'm up north, I'll gladly go here again. read more

"Being a hockey player means I get to try all the beautiful ice here in Seattle and there is a lot! Everett is where I played my first game here, so it's a little special. It's in a good location with easy I5 access and parking garages. (good luck finding street parking) A good rink with decent ice. The ice itself is pretty decent and takes a while to get choppy. And the lighting is great here. Also large dressing rooms and easy access vending machines. The bleachers are a tad small and can get cold. So spectators bring a blanket." read more

ayayayayay! The roommate has season tickets to the Silvertips, as a result I get to go to... well pretty much home game, if I want to, which I usually do. This is a nice small arena, has good vendors, with a decent beer selection (plus one star!) and doesn't have too bad of food. I love the vibe in here on a game night. I'm still learning the rules of hockey, so I ask a lot of stupid questions, and it's not like being at an outdoor stadium on a hot summer day, but it'll do. I don't know what a perfect ice arena is, but this new one is pretty close! Things of note about this place: - Street parking, and it is kind of difficult. Try the south side of the arena towards the courthouse. - Long entrance line to pay. And it is the same line to rent skates. - Nicest bathrooms, but not big enough. - Lockers available. - Seating is limited and usually overtaken by little kids shoes and jackets. - Snack bar sometimes open. - Birthday parties available. I swore I was going to come here for my 21st, but that one came and went (a whole other story..) - Public skating music is so loud and tacky, but good thing I love Kelly Clarkson. - Public skating can be so painfully packed! I hate all the kids who can skate and the little ones who use the walkers and the boys going the opposite way. It you go, plan the time wisely. - Skating there makes you want to see Silvertips Games and the adjacent arena. - I never took lessons here, wish I did. read more

Ice skating rink is located in the Comcast Arena in downtown North Everett. Entrance to rink is on Hewitt and Broadway Avenue. Parking garage is on the opposite side of block near the courthouse but there are several complimentary parking spaces around and within walking distance of the arena. Staff was helpful. Arena offers open floor ice skating and lessons. Fun activity for kids. We've also attended youth birthday parties and the kids seem to really enjoy them. For the little ones who cannot quite ice skate in their own - they have little walkers available for the kids to take around the rink for stability. We have been here a couple times. Very clean place and lots of sitting room (bleachers). My boyfriend went into the pro shop to get his skates profiled. The owner Joe was very helpful about finding out what exactly my boyfriend was looking for. If you looking for profiling I would see him. Also, if you get hungry there is a bend ding machines that takes credit card. read more

This is a great place to get out of the heat. Since it is sort of new the rental skates aren't too skanky and during the summer they have what they call "cheap skate" which is $5 to skate including rental. You can get either figure or hockey skates and when we went they're was only a couple people showing off and taking up too much ice that I wanted to check into the boards. read more

I love everything about this rink, the only issue being it can be difficult to find parking sometimes, especially if there is a Silvertips game going on as well. Its very bright; I have a difficult time in darker rinks. The locker rooms are big, working showers with hot water. The benches allow for enough space for an entire team and the boards are very responsive for contact. One dissapointment though is they used to have a Sunday afternoon pickup session which was very competitive in its early life. They scrapped it after a year and don't seem to offer anything else other than stick and puck times read more

This rink is great...plenty of learn-to-skate classes for those just starting out, and daily Freestyle sessions for the figure skaters. My daughter skates there every day, and we've been really happy with the coaches, staff, and the quality of the rink in general. The only drawback is the lack of parking (street parking only), but we usually don't have any trouble finding a spot (we just have to walk a little farther if there's a Silvertips game going on). read more

Worst experience I have had in a long time when we got there for public skate there where 4 birthday party's bad planning by management way to many people. We brought kids that needed the support walker and they sold out becouse of the party's. When my daughter fell down I was told by one of the kids working there I could not hold her when she was crying. Needless to say I won't be back. Lynnwood is a better deal anyways kids are free. read more

A new arena for the area. Clean, bright, and open. Nice entry, but no parking lot. Needs better seating for putting on skates after rental. Played hockey here since it opened and the change rooms are great. There is a small vendor with snacks, but outside lots of restaurants close by. Seems to be less time for open skates lately. It is in the same building as the Comcast arena where the WHL team plays next door. Best thing that happened to Everett in 15 yrs. read more
