I love going to farmers markets, it's an awesome way to support local! Eventually I want to check…read moreout all the ones in the Denver area. This one in Golden is particularly nice, less crowded that others that I have been to such as pearl street. Located right in the middle of Golden next to Clear Creek and the Golden History Musuem. It has lots of variety with the classic fruit and vegetable vendors, to coffee, bread, flowers, salsas, and jewelry. Some of the things that I got while at the farmers market were a white chocolate eclipse iced coffee from astro coffee, cheese bread from Bruna's since my son in particular loves Brazilian food since we used to have nanny from Brazil, some palisade peaches, a berry cheesecake pastry, a lemonade, some syrup from Daddy's Homemade Syrup, and a pesto and buffalo sauce from not bad cooks. (And we definitely could have done more damage here.) Definitely recommend adding this to your itinerary for Golden. We had such a nice day here starting with the market.

Something for everyone and plenty of food trucks to feed you! Do read up on parking rules around because a fine comes with parking in the wrong spot. About three or four true farms have booths there and a variety of other vendors so you have a nice blend of both worlds. The family and I visited mainly to pick up some quality hand soap from Mountain Time Soap. Awesome stuff! Check them out. The deals were good on veggies and my daughter picked up some pita chips and dip. Great morning in Golden!

There were quite a few clothing, jewelry, bag, tapestry and pashmina type vendors but Miller Farms was there selling fresh veggies and I also noticed a panini stand selling hot pressed sandwiches for around $7-9. Kettle corn too which smelled delicious. There was live music and a decent crowd with lots of strollers and dogs as well as some bouncy games for kids like bungee jumps, etc... I can't give any farmers market less than five stars because I want them to stick around and I hope to be back in Breck on another Sunday to explore this market more. You can park for free in the huge ski lot across the street and just walk over.

I'm not sure if it's because it was a holiday weekend that the regular food vendors and farmers were taking the day off, but it was certainly disappointing as it was how I had planned to enjoy my birthday brunch as opposed to a mediocre meal at a restaurant on Main. That said, it was still a pleasant festival to stroll around out and it's certainly work 4 stars. My advice is contact ResortQuest who puts on the market and make sure the market is happening in its entirety. That's what I'll be doing next time to avoid disappointment.

It looks natural and tastes better and is so fresh. Eggs, too! This one is definitely good even though it's on the small side. The booths are staffed with friendly folks with the exception of the dog trainer one. I asked him a couple questions and complimented his dog and he barely looked up from his phone, giving one word answers. Weird. Anyway back to the rest of the vendors....love love love! There was even a gluten free bakery vendor and darned if I can't remember their name but they make the BEST pumpkin muffins, I'm talking melt in your mouth fantastic. I'll update when I go back to replenish!!! There is a low key vibe and it won't take long to explore what is there. Not a big annoying crowd, it's dog friendly, and parking is ok but I will give a warning on that. The instructions looked easy but on the way out I had issues with how they said to first scan your parking ticket. If you park in the garage that is. I would say just skip that first step. I couldn't get any response from the machine when I scanned the paper parking ticket, so I tried to move to another one and ran over a curb accidentally. Oof! Make it easy on yourself and just scan the QR code at either end of the market, and then simply scan that barcode that pops up as you are trying to leave. Please don't do what I did. I spent too much time goofing up. Show the barcode that popped up and the arm will raise up for you to leave. Other than that glitch, I really like this smaller low-key farmers market.

Not sure if I found the correct farmers market - I heard this one would be the biggest in Denver…read more We landed at the Cherry Creek fresh market, which I thought was the same, but maybe it wasn't ? This one was in the parking lot closest to Macy's. It wasn't too big, but they had a nice variety of vendors, with food, crafts, plants, and artisan goods. That had a live band playing some chill tunes too which was nice. Absolutely loved the fresh baked bagel spot called Springs, they had this scallion olive oil cream cheese that was delish, and had their toaster on site to prep everything right there. Shame they don't have a brick and mortar location - they said they pop up at a lot of these markets on weekends and do catering (wonder what they do in the winter?) Also was tempted to get some permanent jewelry, there was at least 3-4 vendors offering these. Maybe next time! Had such a nice time here but it's very hot and the only shade are a few tables with umbrellas for eating that were mostly taken. Stay hydrated!
