It was Christmas Day, I looked up my policy and it said nothing about increased deductible on Holidays. I showed them my card and they argued with me. She tells me BCBS will refund me. After this the Doctor goes, there is no xray so I can't even subscribe you additional meds with out you driving 45 minutes away for an tray. I am coughing so hard, driving there was a challenge. The lack of compassion was unreal. I am sitting here, coughing non stop, head, body hurts. I told them I had asthma on top of whatever this crap was. I walked out with out paying the co-pay because charging me more than what is listed on my card is not legal.

This is my go-to lab for blood testing. The phlebotomist who usually works here is wonderful. She…read moreis calm and comforting and so helpful with suggestions for someone like me who has had some negative blood draw experiences. She recommended that I drink a lot of water before I arrive and she has a table where patients who tend to get light-headed can lie down during their blood draw. This has helped me so much! Now I don't dread blood tests anymore. I have had to go to a different ECHN lab (on Hartford Turnpike in Vernon) while this one was under renovations (until June 2018 I think) and it also went very well. I asked to lie down for my blood draw and was totally fine. The phlebotomist was another very pleasant person and I had a great experience there. I would highly recommend either of these ECHN outpatient labs.

The phlebotomist on duty both times I visited was an absolute gem! She's kind, gregarious, and efficient. She's the type of person you wish you could just adopt into your family immediately, even after the needle part (which she's great at!). My only complaint is the wait time, as she seems to always be the only person there. She does her absolute best to get people in and out while still maintaining an excellent standard of care, but the wait would be significantly less if there were two staff members working. Totally not her fault. Overall, I highly recommend this location, as both of my experiences have been wonderful!

This was bad for a number of reasons: They charged me $250 plus my copay 6 months later on an FSA card that wasn't used anymore (new year and 6 months later!) They refused to refund that unless I gave them a new card. They filed the claim wrong with my insurance. And they didn't follow up with my insurance... they just billed me. Their customer service person was very rude to me. She spoke down to me and was very unkind and frankly disgusting in how she talked to me. And finally, any time we have gone there they have been effectively useless. My daughter went this time (6 months ago) and was vomiting uncontrollably. They gave her 3 zofran. Enough for 1 day of medicine. I had to follow up the next day with the doctor which makes the service irrelevant . My husband went in with a swollen (sprained ankle) and wanted to make sure he hadn't broken it and they diagnosed him with a fungal infection hahahaha. It was ridiculous. Turns out he had a minor fracture. But that urgent care said it was fungus that made his ankle hurt and swell up. This place is a joke.
