This school, which was started way back in the 70s has come along way, it's moved from a small two building rental spot to its own campus off white road. It's flourishing with families eager to keep the faith the most important thing in their child's life and you can tell by merely visiting the campus on a school day. The education is top notch, with teachers from every background helping these kids attain their goals of being the best versions of themselves. Sports is also offered in the competitive level starting in the 5th grade for both boys and girls. The well rounded education has produced a lot of successful business owners, doctors,nurses ,lawyers etc , you name it, we have a graduate that's done it. Not only are the academics AMAZING, but the amount of love that is there truly makes it feel like home, and the satisfaction of knowing I'm being taken care of is a blessing. I truly honor the Principal, Pastor Eddie, for always trying to find ways to improve things and taking time out of his day to make sure the kids are enjoying what they do. Pastor Eddie cares for these kids like they are his own. He takes the time to make sure kids are fed during lunch, he makes sure students emotionally are doing ok and always takes the time to listen to people's concerns and does his best to make changes. Don't think about dropping it off to the office. They rather your kids starve for the rest of the day. No microwave or hot water dispenser for the kids to warm their food from home or bring a cup of noodles. Why? They say because they're kids and they run around which can be a liability? So they want the kids to act like young adults, but they won't allow a microwave or hot water dispenser for food. Sounds ridiculous! All the surrounding schools allow for lunches to be dropped off. Understandable if they don't want DoorDash showing up, but if a parent wants to drop off a forgotten lunch, they should be allowed to. It's not a lot to ask for. Do BETTER quimby oak!

What I appreciate most is the care and dedication of the teachers and staff. My children have been encouraged academically, spiritually, and personally in an environment rooted in faith, compassion, and service. The school also has a beautiful multicultural community where many families from different backgrounds come together and support one another. As a working mother balancing many responsibilities, it has meant a lot to know my children are in a place where they are known, supported, and encouraged to grow with confidence and kindness. I loved high school, it was one of the most memorable periods of my life because I made great…read morefriends who I still talk to today, the activities that this school puts were great, and from my experience there wasn't an obvious sense of social stratification, ... though people did hang out in certain groups/cliques but this school was so diverse that you could make friends with anybody from a wide range of backgrounds. I was part of the thunderously hip Japanese Program, I took part in F.A.N.T.A.S.T.I.C.S., homecoming, I wish I had joined some clubs but I made a great group of friends, and that's the greatest accomplishment one could ask for. I don't know which teachers are still teaching. But Okuda was awesome, Cervantes was knowledgeable, Hall was scary at times but definitely a GREAT teacher. This school was awesome and I really miss high school bc of how fun it was for me. So if you want to make your HS years memorable, MAKE IT memorable :) Make the best out of it.

They have a pretty awesome principle named Vito who really goes above and beyond and there is a lot of students who genuinely seem to care for each other. If you're kid is planning on going here, don't worry about its former rep. It's really become something important to the community.

Mrs.Dora is a great and helpful director. I always feel welcomed each morning, greeted with a smile and a warm hello! It's always nice because when I drop off my daughter, I leave ready to tackle traffic and a long day at work but with everything I endure first thing at daycare, I'm able to have a smile, I'm able to feel secure and safe as I leave my child. It sets the right tone for my day, thank you to all the staff and specially our teachers Mrs. Juanita and Mrs. Daisy. Some professional areas I love about the school are the academics, the social skills and manners that my daughter learns daily. She comes home singing and is overall happy. The classrooms are clean, the school and church are very clean. The rooms are filled with art work, and are always decorated with each holiday and or season for that month. I would 100 percent recommend East Valley. We love it so much, I am currently enrolling my son into their elementary side!
