I really enjoyed my stay here while I was in town for work. Very comfortable little space for just me. The bed was absolutely amazing! Best one I think I've ever slept in while on the road. The biggest issue I had was the lack of a microwave. When I'm on the road, a fridge and microwave are a pretty big deal so I can reheat meals or save costs a bit by being able to fix and hest meals in room instead of constantly having to eat out... especially if im staying a week or more, which was the case of my stay this trip. Perfect Stay/ Clean and relaxing with great Western hospitality This is the spot to stay

1. Not impressed. 2. The clerk gave me the internet password. She kept insisting that was the correct password. Asked which wifi to connect to, she didn't understand and got obnoxious. 3. The room, very dark, no lamps on the side of the bed. 4. NO electrical outlets in the bathroom (cant blow dry or curl hair) 5. I stayed three nights. The room was swept once, the bed was made once. 6. The full length mirror is on the opposite send of the room not near the bathroom. 7. The soap and shampoo was not replenished either. 8. What a wonderful little motel! Located right on the edge of the Main Street so walking to bars, restaurants, shops and coffee spots is perfect. The owners are super friendly and while it is an older motel, the rooms have been updated with comfortable new beds and furnishings. We will be back!! read more

Place is a joke. Could never get the hot water to get any warmer then luke warm in the shower and sink. Wasnt just my room. People i was staying with in their rooms had the same problem. Complained to the front desk clerk but that was a waste of time. The guy at the front desk is worthless. Dont waste your money staying here. read more

We enjoyed our overnight at the Evergreen Motel. Remodeled Old Style Single Story Motel. Rustic Decor. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Room was large with refrigerator & microwave. Able to park near your room door for easy unpacking car. David was very friendly at check in. Recommend staying here when in Libby. read more

We called last minute to see if they had a room available and they did! They even upgraded us to a king room no charge. Very clean, comfortable and spacious rooms. Our company sent us to Libby to work for weeks. One employee found the Evergreen after staying at a couple of the other hotels. Evergreen by far out scored the others with cleanliness, staff friendliness and efficiency. The rooms have been updated and have stylish sparkling white linen. Breakfast and hot coffee is always ready at 5am. I honestly thought about NOT posting a review cause I don't want to loose "my" room. Hahaha read more

Oh my gosh!! Perfect! Want to feel like you're in a rustic cabin with a view of snow capped mountains, buut still wanna be within walking distance to bars and restaurants? Lol let's not forget with modern amenities..Evergreen Motel fits both worlds. Ive stayed at the caboose motel before and it was very much outdated. This motel has new mattresses, pillows, fun sliding wood doors, and a full breakfast from 5-11. Suuper nice for those folks working with an early start. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. I also thought it was cool how comfortable the guests were to hang out in the yard grilling and enjoying the warm nights on the swing and around tables playing cards. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wishing to have a rustic Montana trip, but having standards from a bigger city. A+ read more

I was in town for work, stayed two full weeks at the evergreen. I got to experience a lot of different features on this stay. At first I was placed in the overflow accommodations across the street to the south. It was an old hotel that they remodelled but my room didn't have a tv and the bed was not long enough for me. But it was remodelled. The bed sank in the middle but I had read other good reviews so I was going to wait until I moved to the main establishment. In the hotels defends they don't like to put people over here because they like to keep the main establishment the motel space. I moved over to the main hotel and into a large room with a tv and a large bathroom, the handicap room. I was happy in this room. It had a refrigerator and a microwave which I needed for my long stay. I was here for about a week when I returned home one night and a note on my door saying that I needed to check out. The handicap room has been booked. I wasn't aware of this as check in. But no problem as long as I didn't have to go to the overflow. I moved across the lot and my room backed up against subway. This room was smaller but still had al amenities except a microwave. From the first night here the wall heater didn't work. It was getting chilly at night. So after that night I spoke with the owners they didn't know what was wrong and got me a base board potable heater. This worked fine for the night but the next day it wouldn't come on. Spoke with the owners again and said they would fix the wall heater. Apparently the potable heater blew the breaker. My wall heater was never fixed but the base board heater had my room warm. When I checked out they were working on a system to track the rooms and better meet the motel needs. I really enjoyed the hotel but the little quirks I had like the overflow, moving, and the heater were inconveniences. Overall I liked the remodel felt clean and cute. read more

The Evergreen Motel was a lovely place to stay. All of the staff members were super friendly and accommodating. There was free breakfast offered every morning with a nice variety of foods. The rooms were recently renovated and super clean! However, each room is different so be sure to call ahead to book a room for your specific needs (ex: in-room microwave). We greatly enjoyed our stay here. We got two rooms, one for the kids, while visiting family. The rooms have recently been renovated and they were pretty good. The sliding bathroom door could have closed a little better but the beds and pillows were fantastic! The staff was great, too. Fridge, microwave, tv... and they clean daily unlike most hotels these days who have used Covid to continue to not clean rooms well past when it was appropriate. We will come back. read more

I loved this place until they decided that money is more important than life i have a 10 year old daughter and waiting for our house to close in escrow we talked to these people before we made reservations 6 months ago and now because of ignite the nights they want to raise my rent from 2000 a month to 4300 a month i dont make enough im a single mom but i guess peoples well being n my daughter having to start school living on the streets means shyt to them... but dont let them fool u i have photos of a neighbor selling crystal meth out my kitchen window.... So im glad Karma sits on my sholder because when the lord watches over me n ive given my all, a money hungry family that puts a lil girl n mom on the streets when ive paid full n on time since the beginning oh n dont let me forget the fact i found 4 different HOBO spiders in my bathroom n they do nothing about it... N just to say when it was 109 degrees outside I had no air conditioning until the heat wave was over so it was 114 in my room with a child, n they forgot they lied n said I'll be there tomorrow only 5 days later did they show up n say oops I forgot we have it to the sand man hotel that they own too.... Very cute and we'll maintained motel. The landscaping in simply amazing and relaxing on your porch is like sitting in your own back yard! I love the country new decor in the rooms. Very classy and nice/friendly caretaker. Oh and the fresh cherry tomato plants and real house plants were a very nice touch. Definitely will come back to visit. 5 stars well deserved! read more

We stayed at the Evergreen Motel on our way home from Glacier National Park. The motel has recently been updated and was a nice, quiet place to stay. The mattress was comfortable, the linens and sheets were clean. I was a bit concerned about the door being locked properly since our door seemed to not seal tightly. I had called the motel directly to book our room and was quoted a price for the king room, they only have 1 king room, and the price was agreed upon. When we arrived I paid the room rate, received our keys and went to our room. When we got to the room we had been given a room with two queen beds. After going back to the front desk to ask about the room change I was told that the quests in the king room decided to extend their stay and the queen room was all they had. There was no offer to reduce the room rate, since queen rooms are quoted cheaper. Oh well, lesson learned. Just make sure you get the type of room you paid for. read more

This is a cute cozy motel just off Hwy 2. Our room was very clean and quiet. Faces away from the highway for less noise. They have a continental breakfast and Bbq grills available. Friendly people. Walked down the street to the local brewery. Loved all the flowers in baskets blooming outside the rooms!! read more

My husband and I stayed at the Evergreen Motel in Libby, MT this past August (8/17 and 8/19-8/24 -- the only reason that we didn't stay there over the weekend is that they were booked due to a special event going on in town). I see that there has been a scathing review from a person that stayed there for 1 night about the same time we did. It's too bad that this person had such unreasonable expectations from both the motel and its staff and maybe he should stick to the big chain hotels in the future. My husband and I have both traveled extensively for both work and pleasure most of our adult lives and have never stayed at a small town motel as wonderful as the Evergreen Motel (and that includes hotels I stayed in in Europe while there on business). The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the staff very friendly and accommodating even though the motel is currently undergoing extensive renovations. We will be staying at the Evergreen Motel on our future trips to Libby -- and there will be many more as we are buying property outside of Libby and building our retirement home. I can't say enough good things about the Evergreen Motel and its staff. One queen bed, 2 adults and 2 dogs for several nights. read more
