We've used Evergreen a number of times and all has been great. Recently our family of 4 needed a ride to BLI. When I called to book I mentioned 4 people and the woman said we'd need _____ as a vehicle. I don't know what their vehicles are so I don't know what that means. We've always had the same car pick us up, even when there were 4 of us. We've never needed any particular type of taxi vehicle as we've ridden in both conventional taxis or minivan taxis. A towncar would have been fine as well, as we've done that as a family. They showed up on time (as always) in a giant SUV. As someone with a bum knee and auto immune issues which can make me really stiff, it was actually difficult to climb in and out of. We got to the airport in a matter of minutes as it was a 2.6 mile trip. I almost choked when he quoted me $60. We usually paid about $20-$23 and that was when we lived across town (8 miles) from the airport. The driver indicated that's their minimum charge now. I don't know if we were being hustled or what, but I would never intend to again pay $60 + tip for a 5 minute ride. I don't know if that charge was higher because of the SUV or what. Would not use again at those rates and would suggest if you are booking you confirm the rate. Evergreen had always been about the same as every other service so it didn't cross my mind to confirm a price, especially with us being so close to the airport. read more

"It appears your driver is a no show". - Evergreen owner to me after multiple frantic phone calls Imagine, if you will, traveling with an infant, a toddler and a new mom. Imagine spending hours over a period of a month preparing for that travel day, including booking a car service to the airport with Evergreen. Imagine calling them the night before just to be sure everything is in place and being reassured they would be there. Now imagine you are standing at the front door before dawn the next day with a sobbing baby and toddler and frantic spouse, all because the car service isn't there. Multiple panicked calls to Evergreen go to their voice-mail. You are stranded. It is almost certain you will miss your flight and lose days of your trip and pay hundreds of dollars of change fees. Unfortunately, I don't need to imagine this scenario, this was our reality. Evergreen's response was subjectively very dismissive (she did offer to pick us up herself, but acknowledged she wouldn't get there in time for us to make our flight). It was "a new driver" the owner assured us, as if that somehow made it more understandable and okay. But the true question remained unanswered; Why wouldn't they have confirmed with their driver, especially if they were new? Why wait to receive panicked calls after the pick up and when damage was done? Also, if this was a new driver, who are they hiring and how are they screening for these hires? Worrisome that someone this irresponsible was theoretically going to be in charge of safely transporting a young family. When we called a cab company in utter desperation, the cab driver said it was the second call they received that morning about Evergreen not showing up (and evidence Evergreen should have been aware their driver had flaked before we alerted them). This statement was in radical juxtaposition to the owner of Evergreen's proclamation that this was the only time this has ever happened in 12 years. Gently put, if you are looking for a service you can trust, I would suggest you look elsewhere. Maybe we were just that unlucky, but the kicker is that I decided not to post for at least 24 hours to see if the owner checked in to see how we were doing etc. She did not, which I think is more telling than anything else in my review. She knew her business caused an awful situation for a young family, but there was no follow up. read more

We flew into Bellingham to take a cruise out of Vancouver. Our driver, Brian, was waiting for us when we arrived with a luggage cart, grabbed our bags (which were first off the plane), and had us in the vehicle in 5 minutes. He was friendly and chatty and we learned a lot about the area from him. He had even already looked up which border crossing should take the least amount of time. Traffic was rough in Vancouver, but he had warned us there were no highways, so it would be slow-going in the city. Would not hesitate to recommend this company! read more

If you are thinking of using this service i would consider other options. This service is extremely poorly run. I worked for them from summer through January 2023 and here's just a few of my experiences and observations. The service had a decent reputation when it was run by the original owner who has since passed. The company is now being run by his wife and I can tell you she out of touch with her customers and i would argue she could care less. I found this person to be very dishonest and has no idea of how to run the business or how to treat people. Here is a small sample of what I experienced with this company. This person had us illegally picking up passengers from Seattle international airport for months. You must be licensed commercially to pick up passengers there and we were not. I wasn't aware we weren't legally licensed to pick up passengers until one day she wanted me to pick up a passenger from SeaTac going to Vancouver BC. When I arrived at the airport office to pick up the required sticker that allows me to legally pick up passengers it wasn't ready. The passenger just arrived from New York trying to get home and I'm stuck trying to get her paperwork completed. The passenger was furious he said he paid good money for a ride and because she is incompetent it wasn't his problem. I informed her the passenger was very upset her response was for me to fix this. REALLY i then asked her what did she want me to do? Should I come back another time to get her required permit and just pick up the passenger? This is when I found out we had been picking up passengers illegally for months. The manager there said I can't pick up a passenger without the license to do so. I was stuck she should have submitted this paperwork long before she did. Finally the faxing back and forth they finally finished the paperwork. The customer was extremely upset and frustrated he had to wait for her to do her job to be legal to pick up passengers. The straw that broke the back for me was this. Firstly I want to say I have driven many more miles than the average person and I had 1 speeding ticket I think in the 70's. I have driven coast to coast for many years without an accident of any kind. I went to pick up the vehicle she wanted me to drive while she was standing there with me I did a walk around the vehicle before ever taking possession of her Surburban. I pointed out the bad condition of the vehicle it was dirty it had many small dents and scratches all over it. In addition it had a large dent in the plastic bumper which I pointed out to her and I took pictures of. She told me one of her other drivers did this and it was ok. I took the vehicle home and spent two days of my time taking out dents and scratches to make the vehicle as professional as possible inside and outside. I begged her to repair that front bumper as it didn't look professional picking up passages with the big dent in the bumper. After constant asking her to fix this she relented and told me I could go to Maaco to get her an estimate. I got her the estimate they emailed it to her and she said absolutely not she's not going to fix it. Months later after I had been asking her repeatedly to please fix the bumper I received a text from her with a picture of the dented bumper accusing me of putting this dent in her Surburban. Needless to say I almost fell out of my chair you are kidding me right? Unfortunately she was not i really don't know where her head is but something is wrong with this person. After a couple of days I received a text from her saying she looked at all the past pictures that were taken and that the dent was in the vehicle before i took possession. You would think one would apologize for accusing someone of something like this but not this lady. I spent hours of my own time waxing and polishing her vehicle free of charge because it represented myself not just Evergreen Towncar. Her cars go out regularly without being at least wiped out and in my opinion not presented as well as they should be. Every time I picked up a passenger my car was spotless inside and out but she could care less about this. I believe to this person the service is like a high price Uber just pick them up drop them off and give me that credit card. There was an incident when a driver just didn't show up for a pick up I think at 3 am to go to the airport. I suggested why don't you have a call in a hour before your pick up time to avoid this from happening again and she had no interest in doing anything. If your business plan is to pick people up at all hours of the day and you have no way of checking if the driver is going to be there or not it's not the best plan. It is my opinion what this service is lacking in fundamental ways that should be addressed.1 Always be on time never be late and don't miss trips. 2 Arrive with a clean vehicle inside and out. 3 dress and look like a professional not like someone you picked up off the street. GOD SENT. Writing this review a month late, but my situation was pretty complicated and they helped me out so much. I am an international student coming from Seattle and my dad and I (both non-Canadian citizens) drove up to the border to move me up to Vancouver. The border agent told us my dad could not cross the border, but I could, as I had a study permit. I had no way of getting to Vancouver without my dad, so we drove one city down from the border to figure out what to do. We were told I could Uber or Lyft across the border, but there were none to be found in the area. It wasn't until my dad found Evergreen Town Cars and gave them a call. They picked me up and we transferred all my belongings into their car, and off we went to the border. Superb service! Asked for a pickup at the Anacortes ferry terminal and the driver patiently waited even though our ferry was almost an hour late. Our driver was pleasant, professional and careful on a snowy/freezing drive! Email and phone communications with everyone at the company was warm and friendly. I spoke to Jenny who was very pleasant and made arrangements to have me picked up at 5:15am for my early morning flight. I recently scheduled a service with this company to pick my wife and I up after our wedding in Mount Vernon, WA at Maplehurst Farm on 9/3/2016. I made my reservation on 8/30/2016 with James, and received an email confirmation per my request. Fast forward to the night of our wedding, and the scheduled pickup time of 9:30pm and we have no town car service. I called and spoke with dispatch, only to be told that they didn't have me in their system. The dispatcher was very apologetic and advised that he could have a car available in 30-45 minutes (it was already after 10pm). We needed to be out of our venue at 10pm, and instead of exiting as planned with a nice black town car, we made our exit in the backseat of our friend's car. This company was a complete let down. I specifically called them per the reviews I read online, and their testimonies on their webpage. I was told by the dispatcher that I would receive a call from the owner, and that they would make sure to put something together to accommodate us. I have yet to receive a call. If I was the owner of this company, I would have called the next day... My guess is that they didn't get the message either. I would in no way recommend this company for any planned events. read more

The car was first class, clean, tidy, and roomy. Our friends commented on the high quality of the service. Bad business practices- One of their un named representatives, booked a roundtrip ride for myself, some family members including my elderly parents to and from a wedding venue for this New Years Eve. She voluntarily offered a mode of transportation they apparently don't have in their fleet subsequently taking my credit card and personal information. I was then contacted by April this evening at 8pm saying "the owner" contacted her and asked her to contact me and cancel. In this scenario it would have been appropriate for the "owner" to contact me personally, and at least offer some sort of alternative solution, or information to assist in a remedy, instead of cancelling flat. I have been calling Evergreen Towncar for over two years. I got tired of taxi's that were unreliable, dirty and unfriendly, but I didn't want to pay limousine rates. Evergreen has solved that problem by pickigng me up on time in a Lincoln Towncar or Cadillac and getting me to my flight on time...every time. I fly ever few weeks so I use their services often. And their drivers are courteous and care to get you to your destination safely and on time. The driver, Marv Bennett, took the time to tell me about the areas we were passing through as I am not from this area. They were fine picking us up and bringing us to BLI a week ago. We told the driver at that time that we were coming back in a week and would need a pickup then. He said to just call them a bit ahead and arrange pickup for our return. I figured that was protocol, even though we knew when we were coming back and could pre-arrange our pickup then. Tonight I called for our return pickup a couple hours ahead, and was told they did not have a vehicle for us -and that the dispatch person should have arranged our return pickup when we first booked our trip to the airport.
