I highly recommend Everlasting Renovations. I requested several quotes before starting my project, and their quote was very competitive. They came across as very professional. The quality of their work is good, and communication was great throughout. Early on, I wasn't satisfied with a few finishes, so I spoke with the owner. They immediately addressed my concerns and reworked those areas. After that, everything went smoothly, and I even requested to do some additional work around the house. In summary, they offer great value for the money, quality, and communication. I will definitely use their services again in the future.

We have been wanting to paint our house for years and reached out to Everlasting Paining & Renovations. The process was pretty painless and they quotes us a great price. The painters were great and had the job finished within a week. I highly recommend these guys, they did a great job with our home. Thank you!

After receiving threatening text messages from Mathew, owner of Everlasting Painting and Renovations, of a lawsuit for libel and slander based on a less than 5-star review which is articulated in a clause I overlooked in his contract, I removed my review. Subsequently, I consulted legal counsel and have since learned Mr. Swavely and Everlasting Painting and Renovations are in direct violation of California Civil Code 1670.8, also known as the Yelp Bill or Right to Gripe law. The bill sought not only to protect consumers from unknowingly giving up their freedom to speak freely about their consumer or service experiences, but to also prevent them from being intimidated or penalized for doing so. My review in no way portrays "personal feelings" as the contract calls out or libel and is solely based on facts and events for a recently completed job to paint the inside of our home, baseboards to ceilings. See Civil Code 1670.8. https://leginfo.legislature.ca.gov/faces/codes_displaySection.xhtml?lawCode=CIV&sectionNum=1670.8.#:~:text=(a)%20(1)%20A,concerning%20the%20goods%20or%20services. (a)(1) A contract or proposed contract for the sale or lease of consumer goods or services may not include a provision waiving the consumer's right to make any statement regarding the seller or lessor or its employees or agents, or concerning the goods or services. (a)(2) It shall be unlawful to threaten or to seek to enforce a provision made unlawful under this section, or to otherwise penalize a consumer for making any statement protected under this section. Fact: The Everlasting Painting and Restorations painting crew (the ones that do the actual work) were phenomenal and we really appreciate their professionalism and attention to detail. Thank you, Noe and team! Fact: We contacted Mr. Swavely at 7:30am on Wednesday, day 3 of the job, when his crew was already onsite to discuss concerns with the high wind (not a "little wind") and significant amount of ash due to our one-mile proximity to the recent Airport Fire. He was dismissive, condescending and after 10 minutes informed us, we were "contacting him outside of business hours" and that he's "not married to his business." His solution was to keep the house closed and breathe the paint fumes all day, which for us was not an option for the health of my family, pets and frankly his painting crew. Or charge us a half day of labor for his team. Fact: Mr. Swavely never checked in with us to see the how the project was progressing or, whether we were satisfied upon completion. Fact: Upon leaving a less than 5-star review, Mr. Swavely still did not reach out to understand our concerns, but instead immediately threatened me with legal action via text message and referred to me as "pathetic," all documented. A clear violation of 1670.8. (a)(2) referenced above. We previously had a good interaction with this company which is why we returned. However, because of our most recent experience, we will no longer use Everlasting Paint and Renovations, nor can we in good conscience recommend them.

We selected everlasting renovations, Inc., after reviewing a dozen other painting contractors. They came through very professional, licensed, insured, bonded they started the job, super professional, showed up on time, completed the exterior painting project to our desired choices of colors selected. The foreman connected with me every morning asking any questions they may have. The project was completed in five days as our contract was supposed to be done in six days. Highly recommend this company for your next exterior paint project.

I went with Everlasting to repaint the entire interior, build a new partition wall to make room for a large tv, regrout the shower, epoxy the garage, and replace carpeting in two bedrooms. The living room, stairs, and kitchen have wood floors which were in excellent shape so I planned to keep them. I was assured that the floors would be protected during the remodel. The carpeting, new wall, and epoxy of the garage came out great! The painting was ok (they don't use a sprayer, they use rollers and brushes), the regrouting looks pretty bad in my opinion, but I can live with it. However, the thing that really irritates me is that the floors are destroyed. They tried to fix some of the deep scratches but it still looks like crap. I'm going to have to replace the flooring completely which is something I wasn't planning on doing. In addition, the marble countertop and travertine floors are scratched up pretty badly as well so I hope I can find a good stone guy to polish it. So much for "protecting" my floors. Could've just kept insisting that they fix my floors, but what would be the point, they're not flooring guys. I just wanted this bad experience to be over and done with. *** Update 3/21/23 *** So I took down this original review because Matthew contacted me and said he would take care of floors. Well, I'm a reasonable guy so since he promised to send an actual flooring professional I was ok with that. The flooring guy came today to take a look and said that the scratches were pretty bad but he would be able to fix it. The only right way to do this would be to replace the panels. Then I was contacted a few hours later by Matthew as he reneged on the repair. Maybe he didn't realize how much it was going to cost? I'm not sure. If he actually looked at the damage he might have had a better idea and understand why I'm so upset. He offered me $600 to which I told him to keep his money and that I would hire someone to fix this myself.

They are now light and fluffy. My only gripe? The estimator, while very pleasant, ghosted my follow up question like a teenager avoiding chores. Also, despite my very specific request to contact my husband on paint day, they still called me--maybe they just missed my voice? That said, the quality of work was so impressive that I can forgive the slight communication hiccups. Would I hire them again? Absolutely. Would I bet money on the estimator replying to my follow up questions next time? Let's just say I'm not a gambler.

The quality, as promised, was lacking where the high gloss paint was used, and not done to our satisfaction. Yes, there was a problem, but there was also a happy ending! Based on past experiences with other companies, we figured they would push back against our complaints, and move on without rectifying the situation. Luckily, that was not the case. One of the most important qualities in any company's owners, is integrity. The owner here stood behind his work, and had a very experienced painter come back to completely redo the high gloss areas that were done incorrectly. It looks beautiful now! He also explained that since this job, they have taken steps to change some of their practices to improve in the future. Every company should take advantage of learning experiences, take accountability for mistakes, and put the customer first. Stubbins Painting is one of those companies. This sort of real integrity is rare, and is what makes me comfortable in recommending them!

The house had not been painted since before we bought it 10 years prior, and the paint it had on it when we bought was already not great.we had a ton of dry rot, sections poorly filled with bondo by the prior owner, and old termite damage that had been filled with bondo. We did our due diligence and got several quotes. The painting quote itself was in line with most of the quotes we got, not the cheapest, but definitely not the most expensive. However a few things really stood out to me. First, All of the other quotes seemed to not actually include the cost of any of the fascia boards being replaced. 1 quote wouldn't touch them, 2 others said they would but on the actual quotes it just said "repair and fill with bondo". Mark was the only one who was straight forward. He said " look, idk what it's gonna be exactly and we won't know till we power wash, but in my experience based on what I'm seeing, you should budget an extra X amount for just wood replacement." When I called and asked the other companies I got quotes from that would repair paint they were weirdly cagey on this. In the end, we did infact need more wood replaced than what was originally planned for but the final product was well worth it. Which takes me to the other point. When it came time to finalize exactly what pieces needed to come down and the extra cost of the unplanned rotted wood, he gave us options. Options that included places we could forgoe a change in one area to balance the cost of the wood replacement in another. He didn't try to sell us on anything unnecessary, or weirdly extravagant either. He gave recommended paint colors based on what he painted his own house and gave advice on how to best pick the colors we wanted. Once we got into the project his team took over and were a pleasure to work with. They were hyper responsive to texts and calls and questions, and fixed things or helped adjust stuff as needed. For example we wanted a very specific color for the front door (Tardis Blue) and they got it custom matched for us. A few small places where I noticed something that needed a quick adjustment that I called or texted them for was fixed the next time I looked. They moved all of our outdoor furniture, grills, etc and put everything back exactly as it was when they started. They didn't leave any trash or mess as is often the case with multi day home reno projects. In all, the project took 2 days longer than originally anticipated but we had more work than anticipated. All in all, the experience was good enough for us that we ended up hiring them to do some painting of our interior doors that we just had replaced, and we'll likely keep them in mind the next time we need any painting.

Communication and quote started out great with Dane but the workmanship was lazy and as you can see in the photo did not last at all. I am assuming they only put 2 coats of finish on and didn't prep correctly since all of the finish has already released after only 4 short months. When his team was "complete" I could tell they did not do the job I expected. I asked them to come back out and place one more coat on....which they did but didn't make much difference. I have since refinished myself after spending over $2k for their crappy work. It looks great now.....after a real complete strip and 4 coats of the finish I originally asked for. My advice is do it yourself or go elsewhere.
