The shoppes had everything from amazing chocolate dipped strawberries to baby clothes to wine tasting. There's even a cute carousel for toddlers that my daughter went on. I was happy to learn that there's multiple events going on here for the different holidays and upcoming weekends. The locals mentioned that the busiest time of the year was now through December . There's a holiday light show around December that they said to come back for. I loved everything about this place and will be back for the holidays. I did some shopping and got some sweets , newborn clothes and wine while I was here, can't wait to come back.

Just a carousel, s'mores, train ride ($4 per person for a 5min ride) and the talking tree. You can do everything in under an hour and everything is more fun after dark of course. I was very excited for the "light show," which was extremely underwhelming. There was maybe 20ish little trees made of lights, spread out around the lake area and they were flashing synced with songs. Seriously... that is it... Lake was dried out so maybe that took away from the experience ? Doubt it. My partner and I had a great time, but it is not somewhere I would like to visit more then once.

There were ships' lanterns (both antique and reproduction), cast-iron mermaids, furniture made from hatch covers, ships' wheels in a variety of sizes, bags of fish netting, old photos, old navigational tools, nautical signs, and various other nautical themed antiques and merchandise, all displayed in an un-cluttered shop so that customers can actually see them. The proprietor was helpful, and knew her merchandise. And one really nice thing is that the tags on items made it clear whether they were genuine antiques or reproductions. Seafarer is NOT trying to fool customers into thinking that a modern reproduction is and antique item, which I, for one, really appreciate. It's worth a stop if you are in the area.
