My order didn't take too long to come out and when it did, the presentation was neatly plated with heart shaped rice on each plate. I really appreciated that small attention to detail and felt they really put a lot of love into the food. I thought the food was excellent. They nailed the texture on the chicharron bulaklak and I devoured everything. Towards the end I saw they had cassava cake (my personal favorite) and was really excited to order it but was told they had sold out. Regardless, it did not take away from my experience. I thoroughly enjoyed it and will make sure to make this a regular stop whenever I'm in town for work.

I don't leave many reviews on grocery stores, but I had to with this place! It looks a little tinier than most grocery stores, but I'll bet you they have everything that you need if you're cooking African food up for the night. I didn't get his name, but he's the son of the owners of the store, and he was super helpful! I told him what dishes I wanted to make, and he even searched up the recipes on Youtube and pointed me to the ingredients I needed. Y'all, I 100% didn't know what half of these ingredients, and he very patiently told me what they were and how it's used! Super helpful and kind. I love learning about other cultures, and I especially love learning about their food. He shared that his family was Ghanaian too, so I guess I'm going to go down the rabbit hole of Ghanaian recipes now!!
