I was waiting to get rid of my monthly power bill. But still needed reliable power to live comfortably. The owner/ guy that took advantage of my disabled and that I had cash. He kept telling me about this hybrid system that he had on his home and how he sold power to the power company. I told him that I was not interested in buying anything like that. I wanted batteries and to be totally off grid it was my late wife's and my dream when we bought our land and home. He told me that he would take care of my needs and gave me a $22,000 plus price and he asunder me that his company was a upstanding company and he would be there for me. I was not able to get out of bed because of my gout for days. So they did not install the panels in the correct place so I only get the sun shining directly on the panels until afternoon. They decided not to help me in anyway moving a small toolbox on wheels and a smaller gang box so that they could install the electric control equipment on the side of my home so the water from the roof runs right onto the equipment. Not to back where it is stated in the contract to be. Mark the owner decided that He knew what was best for me and will not move the equipment so I can finish s skirting, or putting the porch that I've already planned and starting the add to my home. The system has not worked correctly since day one. I have turned Omaga solar power company into the Attorney General Consumer Protection. That got there attention and I posted a bad review on Google and they called asking me to take down my post and give them a chance to come and fix it. I said I would take the post down and I did. They brought out 5 new HEATED batteries and rewired some things and said that they would not charge me for the new batteries. I told Mark that I was not going to pay for the extra battery he brought because I didn't pay for the extra 5th regular battery that was brought out before. So with my father right there. Mark said that they were not charging me for the battery because they wanted me to be happy and with my complaint with the Attorney General's office. Things went downhill since. Mark the owner promised me that he would make it right and I he could make it so I loved the system. that his company decided was best for my family not what I told the other owner I wanted and the off grid system that I was expecting. This solar system is everything BUT off grid. Do not trust anyone who works with other for the Omaga solar power company that is basted in Little Rock Arkansas. They will not stand up for there product and make you feel like they did something nice for you. I have hundreds and hundreds of screenshots emails and text messages backing up every single word that I have said and more. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY I

I asked about reinforcing the roof due to the weight of the solar panels and he told me if it was necessary, he would do it as part of the job but it wasn't needed. A few months later, a contractor was up in my roof and he found several broken roof rafters due to the solar panel installation. It costed me $1,600 to repair the damage. Now, just over two years after installation, the electric company has informed me that my microprocessors have stopped working, the panels are not producing electricity and need replacement. Unfortunately, they do not recommend installers and they told me to call the person who installed my panels. Needless to say, I'm researching installers now. There is no way I will call Josh again. I suspect he used poor quality microprocessors and that's why they're failing.

I am one of those homeowners who will get multiple price quotes and do my homework on equipment brands, type of inverters and even seek out others in my area who have gone the solar route already for their experiences. I actually got 17 different solar quotes so I would recommend that anyone thinking about going solar would at least get a handful of estimates before making a decision. Some solar companies will offer you free stuff (like a bunch of LED light bulbs, a new thermostat, etc.) if you sign the contract with them but 'free' really is not free once you see that their quoted price is actually twice the price of the other companies. So I would highly recommend Ozark Solar for your solar needs.
