I went in to get pricing details and stayed for a sample lesson, going into the woman's office we sat down and she asked me questions about my heritage and my name Nancy and my parents. The woman proceeded to ask isn't Nancy a white persons name? Implying that my name did not match my Hispanic heritage. It is disheartening to witness such biases in an environment that should promote diversity and inclusion.

She didn't do well in gymnastics or swim but she can most definitely follow along with the spinning and twirling in the toddler class. The classes are only 20 minutes, which is great for little ones attention span. Highly recommended if you're looking for a fun, short dance class for a toddler around age 3 :)

I couldn't wait to leave my thoughts. In the past 5/6 months with Encore, we have been welcomed in by every single person at the studio. Bonnie and Wendy, and all of the instructors/personnel have been so incredibly kind, informative and supportive of all the kids! Every detail of their policies and procedures have been well communicated, trust me I have a million emails to prove it! Haha. I knew what to expect the whole time with costume fees, fundraising, and most importantly what to expect of my time. As a single mom, working her way through nursing school, struggling to keep the bills paid...I know that every bit of my sleepless nights to work overtime in order to pay for my daughters way has been worth every bit of it. I would gladly pour into my daughter's passion for dance at this studio. Ms. Mikayla was so patient and supportive of the combo class kids and challenged them to never give up. Her coreo was amazing, along with all of the other instructors and their routines. The amount of friends we have made at the studio has made the experience so enjoyable. This past weekend was tough, because that's the nature of performance but it was worth all of the hard work everyone put into it. When my little girl (7 years) stopped to take everything in on the stage after performances and broke down in tears to thank me for bringing her to Encore, it made me feel like all of the hardships her and I have endured couldn't touch us. I think that says something about a studio. They aren't an institution that steal money and couldn't care less about the families who attend. They make you their family. As cliche and cheesy as that sounds, it is true to the core. I am looking forward to all the many more sleepless nights to keep my baby happy in a place that she finds purpose. I can not thank Encore enough for the joy they have offered us.

I highly recommend these classes for anyone who is looking for a different and fun way to challenge your body. The girls who work there are really nice and encouraging. Also, the girls that attend the classes are fun to be around and will cheer each other on in classes. It feels like a nice community for women to express themselves and feel empowered while getting fit.

Everyone in the course is friendly - like a gathering of friends more than a class. The course may seem slow at first, but they spend the time on the most important aspects: the fundamentals - something that really pays off once you get to the later lessons. If you're hoping to learn flashy tango like you see on dancing with the stars, go elsewhere, this class is for genuine Argentine tango. The type where you dance all night in dance halls full of other tango-ers. I'm glad my girlfriend's mother got us our first lessons as a gift, my girlfriend and I are really enjoying ourselves.

The studio itself has a relaxing aesthetic vibe that feels welcoming. Classes are intimate and rejuvenating. The team are all so kind and genuinely have a passion for the work that they do. This particular class focused on yoga for back pain, so the movements were very gentle and aimed at relieving tension and tightness in the back. I really enjoyed the class and found it helpful. The only downside for me was the air conditioning. I happened to be near a vent, and every time the AC kicked on, a strong blast of very cold air hit me directly. I felt chilly for most of the class, and the cold air dried out my nose and throat--especially during breathwork exercises--causing me to cough a few times.

We are now going into our third year at K2 Studios, and my only regret is not coming sooner. Our second year competing was with K2, and the growth we've seen since then has been phenomenal. I have two girls who both compete and train here, and the training they receive is truly exceptional. The studio has clear rules that create a safe, structured environment, and as a parent, I appreciate the direction and consistency. They also re-evaluate and assess students regularly to ensure they're placed in the right classes, which shows how much they care about proper development. The technique taught at K2 is simply outstanding--far beyond what I've seen elsewhere. On top of that, they offer a wide variety of classes and training options, which is a huge bonus. Overall, I cannot say enough about the quality of instruction, the supportive environment, and the incredible growth my daughters have experienced here.
