I've been seeing this dealership pop up constantly online, so I decided to finally check them out in person today. Based on reviews I read beforehand, my experience ended up being very similar. I did not purchase a vehicle, and here's why. First, it took about 10 to 15 minutes just to get assistance and have the car brought out. The staff didn't seem organized. The salesperson helping me appeared to be juggling multiple things at once and almost forgot about me and another couple waiting. Second, the condition of the vehicles was disappointing. The car I test drove was dirty, and it wasn't just that one. Most of the cars on the lot looked like they hadn't been properly cleaned or prepped. That already gave a bad first impression. Third, while sitting in the car before driving, I reviewed the Carfax. The vehicle had a reported accident on June 15, 2024 involving a sideswipe with damage to the right rear. It was listed as minor damage, but there was also a note about prior structural repair, specifically around the rear wheel housing. When I asked about this, I was told they don't really have to disclose damage like that. That response alone made me uncomfortable. Whether that's technically true or not, transparency matters when someone is making a purchase like this. Trying to downplay it and then saying other dealerships operate the same way didn't help. Fourth, during the test drive, the salesperson kept directing me to make right turns only. That stood out to me. I chose to make a left turn instead just to see how the car handled differently, and it seemed to catch him off guard. That raised concerns about whether they were trying to control the route to avoid certain driving conditions. Overall, between the lack of organization, the condition of the vehicles, and the way concerns were handled, I wouldn't recommend this dealership. The prices may look attractive, and they don't negotiate, but you get the sense that the target customer may be someone in a rush or not fully aware of what to look for. For context, I'm not someone who enjoys leaving negative reviews. I try to be fair and honest. But this experience was surprising enough that I felt it was worth sharing for others to be aware. read more

Visited Evo Motors Pre-Covid and this place was popping with people and so many great cars. Sadly when we visited Pre-Covid we couldn't make a deal, but were determined to come back. Unfortunately, the deals and people ran out the door too quickly. This place was a dump and the cars were even dumpier!! Every car on the lot I mean literally everyone had some sort of damage to the outside. It was actually insulting for the price to be listed for what it was based on the damages and scuffs to the vehicle. Why would anyone pay 10-20k+ they're hard earned money and it's literally not been taken care of. So don't be deceived online by how the car may look and the low miles. It was definitely not what it used to be Pre-Covid. We drove from Orlando to make a deal, walked the parking lot in around 30 mins looked at every dirty car and left with no deal. This place is junky, a rinky dink operation that caters to people who are desperate for a vehicle and will let themselves be talked into financing a car for more than they really need to pay for it. The business website also lures people in by temporarily lowering the price on a vehicle and then raising it a couple thousand by the time you show up at the lot. A 2025 Ford F-150 was listed for $2k less, 10 days before I showed up at this dealership. They wouldn't negotiate back down on the price and their dealer fees are higher than others. Dealt with a snotty attitude sales lady who couldn't speak clearly, she mumbled everything she said so we had to ask her to please repeat herself which apparently pissed her off on top of her rude demeanor - they don't work for commission apparently. Bought a 2015 Corolla cash. The buying process itself was OK. The sales person I dealt with was nice, I think her name was Jaday(?) . Unfortunately I had to buy a new battery 2 days after my purchase because the one in the vehicle dying/critical level. As well as 2 tires because they were in bad shape and 3/32nds each. I understand cars are sold as-is but the $900 dealer fee and upcharge on the sale price itself should cover some basic refurbishment like a battery or tire(s). UPDATE: After owning this car a 2 months yet another issue came up. Engine light cane on and the diagnosis was replacing spark plugs and ignition coil the work totaled about $800 making the total of additional repairs after purchase over $1300. I was not counting on having to pay almost 15% of the vehicle purchase price into the car within a few months. Very disappointing. read more

Great buy on used car. This was the third car I purchased from EVO. The communication was almost non existent after I purchased the last car. A part needed to be replaced and was told it would arrive on a certainty date. After no phone call, I called to get an update. I left at least three messages with a promise to return my call (no call returned). Finally, got to speak with a service person who told me the wrong part was sent and had to reorder. This was finally resolved. A week later I called to ask if they could repair an issue with the car and would like to know how much it would cost. Again, I was told this message would be passed on to the service manager and he would return my call--a week later still no call. COMMUNICATION is lacking. read more

Evo is like Aldi-they have quality products at exceptional prices. Is this a fancy dealership where you'll be coddled? No, but you will save a boatload of money. You'll have to do your own research on your vehicle but they provide a car fax. Evo also offers warranties (which I've never purchased). The buying process is quick and easy with no pressure or haggling over price. Paying in cash or using their financing gets you the preferred price. Their interest rate was comparable to my credit union, so no worries. The first purchase we made from Evo as a family was about three years ago when my daughter bought a Rogue. She had been looking around for a while. At Evo, she saved approximately $2000 to $3000 over a similar car at Carmax. My son bought his vehicle, a 2022 HRV about a year ago. Even our mechanic was impressed with the quality of the vehicle and the price that he paid for it. Yes, Evo is busy, especially on weekends, but it's well worth the wait to purchase a quality vehicle at an excellent price. read more

After spending 16k on a truck for our business (Hometown Electric) on 9/30/2024 we find out we need another 8.5k for repairs on 10/4/2024. This is from our mechanic, will never buy from here again. Technician Notes: technician findings in regards to client concerns are as follows : issue - headlamp operation : inspection of the vehicles headlamp assemblies finds the drivers side front low beam has become severed from its respective mounting position resulting in thermal damage to reflector due to headlamp contact with pcv. cause : general component failure / incorrect headlamp bulb installation. recommendation : replacement of headlamp assemblies (2). clients rear tail lamp repaired (bulb replaced). issue - radio screen will randomly go black : technician has determined this vehicle issue is a result of internal component failure therefore requiring replacement of the vehicles human machine interface (radio) this will require c.i.p coding of software variant + programming of immobilizer. issue - multi-point inspection : inspection of clients vehicle reveals the following : oil leaks - technician finds (2) obvious oil leaks wit the first being a combination of the engines valve cover gasket + vacuum pump seal (located on back of cylinder head) and the second being from the transmission cooler lines @ manifold connection. for remediation technician recommends replacement of valve cover gasket + vacuum pump seal in conjunction with replacement of the engines spark plugs as well as replacement of the transmission cooler manifold connection gasket in conjunction with performance of a transmission service (replace filter , pan gasket , hardware & fluid). technician also recommends replacement of the vehicles tires (4) in conjunction with performance of a comprehensive alignment @ client discretion. read more

Word of warning, this is not a "dealership." This is more like a few people got together, decided they wanted to buy cars at auction, park them on a lot, do nothing to them, then try to sell them a KBB dealer value. The place is super unorganized. The staff know nothing about the cars they have on the lot. When I say nothing, I truly mean nothing. The staff member that went on the test drive with me didn't know the trim level, what regenerative braking is, how the car charges, and the list goes on and on. The staff member played on his phone the whole test drive and seemed genuinely uninterested. After returning from the test drive I did a thorough inspection of the car. The doorhandles were all loose and broken, it was dirty, the car had never been charged in 200 days (Electric car) so it was WAY down and they only had a trickle charger, and even the knobs to pull to put the back seats down were missing! They were not aware of any of this! Zero effort put into checking the cars they buy at auction. When I got back to the office I went into the shed that serves as their sales office. I had done my research (Thank goodness since they hadn't) and decided I would like to purchase the car if I could get it for a decent price. It said on their website they accepted cash or cashiers checks. I pulled out my checkbook (A valid form of cash) and they told me they can't take checks. (Never heard of a dealership not accepting a check.) I tried to explain that a check is a form of cash, I could verify funds, and they could even call my bank but they were not interested. They had the car on their lot for over 200 days and I think I see why now. If you are interested in getting an auction car that has not been checked, serviced, or even researched then this is the place for you. This place has good used vehicles at good no haggle prices. That's where the good ends. The customer experience is horrid. Prepare to spend hour after hour. Whatever you do, dont go on Saturday because it's a total zoo of people looking to save a few bucks and not deal with traditional dealers. You must do your research and know what you want because you won't get any hand holding here. They have a staff of mostly young kids fetching vehicles for test drives etc. Nobody really knows anything about cars, so don't ask. They buy all their stuff at auctions and a lot of it is former rentals and leases. Not too many one owner vehicles on the lot. They only carry the best sellers and that means mostly Japanese and Korean with a scattering of domestic. I came to buy on a weekday and only took one test drive. Even so, i spent 4 hours there in terrible heat. The lobby is cramped and uncomfortable. They only take cash or cashier's check so you need to come prepared. That means you probably need to visit twice to check things out and return with your check. You can also finance there which i suppose they prefer because they make more money. You wont need to fend off last minute upselling for warranty etc. They actually did come up with a possibly false issue involving a supposed toll charge which prevent ed my plate transfer. Magically, if I just paid $300, they could issue a new plate and keep the sale on track. I think I got jacked on that one, so beware. But you do need a large chunk of time in order to make this place serve your needs. It's pretty unpleasant but other places are much worse. read more

Allow me to start off the review by stating that I did not buy a car from Evo Motors, but I want to write about the experience, because there's a little bit of a misunderstanding from some people who view this business as a "dealership." It's not really a dealership in the traditional sense. They are in the business of buying off-lease, used, or cars in prior accidents, and then they sell them for sometimes significantly below Kelley Blue Book. Sounds reasonable. Depending on the damage and the CarFax, you might be able to get a great ride that will last you a while. I can't speak to that experience, having not bought a car from them. A few times I've been tempted to buy, after reviewing the CarFax and their inventory. Their prices are definitely attractive. However, their buying process was enough to turn me away. Early last year I was looking for a car for my girlfriend. We test drove a VW Jetta on a Saturday morning. It took about 45-60 minutes just to pull the car around front for a "test drive." They don't seem to have car-knowledgeable workers - really just employees who move people from one spot to the next. Don't expect this to be a traditional dealership experience, but that might be a good thing for some people. They do not pressure you into buying, but they do not really have much useful information to begin with, especially when it comes to technical questions. This business seems disorganized from start to finish. The "waiting room" is a joke. It actually reminds me of a DMV building straight from the 1980s. The cars could use some more detailing (and probably inspecting). I am actually actively looking for a car now, and I have to say that every time I see an "Evo Motors" car pop up in my Autotrader search, something about it always turns me away, even with the price being the way it is. I highly recommend you do your car research, prepare for a day of waiting, and be prepared to use their financing to get the dealer advertised price. (By the way, who exactly walks around with a $25,000 cashier's check?) I understand that they do not haggle, they do not pressure, etc etc. But the bottom line is that you get what you pay for, and I mean that in more ways than the car price. I lost my car in hurricane Ian on FMB, so this was a distress sale. I am a retired single woman in my late 60's. My friend helped me find a used 2016 Toyota Rav 4, with low milage at EVO. It had some issues that needed repair, so we couldn't pick it up until late on a Mon. The battery was dead, and I was told I was given a new one. I just had a service done on the vehicle as the maintenance light came on and was told I need a new battery. I was lied to. And, being a woman I didn't check. Very unsatisfied, I bought my 2018 Nissan titan through Evo Motors in March 2023. Month after month I had an issue with this truck from blown speakers to camshaft. In June I noticed my truck didn't start some days out of the week, fast forward to now in December my starter completely blew out. Went to this place with financing already in place. Found a really nice vehicle. Evo would not release the vehicle because for some reason they wouldn't accept a check draft From the bank. Fast forward to the next business day. I hand delivered them a check from my bank. When it was time to hand me the keys, I asked about the second key. I was told that the car didn't come with two keys and it was a MYTH that all cars came with two keys. I then asked him about the extra key they were trying to program the previous day. His coworkers immediately piped in and saved his outright lie by saying that the guy didn't know it was there. They were SOOOOOO SHADY. The car is great so far. First I had to put my name on a "list" to see the car I wanted to buy. 30 mins later I'm still waiting and guess what, no car. I asked 2 times and they said they were getting it. I couldn't tell who anybody was. No sales person ever approached me. They were all shirts untucked, couple guys smoking in the lot, nobody acknowledging anyone. Went to Evo looking for an Infiniti Q50 2015 for my son bc their cars were priced lower than other dealers. Test drove a few different cars around the block but asked to go on the interstate in the car we wanted to purchase. Yes, I printed out the Car Fax before we went there so we picked the ones that had no accidents and had routine maintenance done. After we went for a spin on the interstate, we stopped at a red light and the Infiniti almost died on us. Wow. Their cars come with a 5 day warranty (LOL) and are obviously not inspected before they are put on the lot. We dodged that bullet and bought a 2017 Infiniti Q50 from Hertz Rent to Purchase program for the same price as Evos 2015 Infiniti with new tires and a 12,000 mile/12 month warranty. read more

Very happy very pleased car buyer. This place is my new go to for car buying. No haggle no harassment no games. Simple strait forward and you know what your getting. I love that they have just about every type of car you could possibly want all in the same place and they are all unlocked so you can look all day long without having to go ask for keys and have a salesman standing over you while you look. You simply go look and when you find something you like you go inside and they bring it to you and you can test drive it. If you like it you apply on a computer by yourself and then they sit with you and go over your terms. If you like their terms then you move forward. Yes it's time consuming because they are busy. They are busy because they have great prices. If you take the time to look you can find a really clean car that was one owner and clean car fax like we did. The car we bought was show room clean. We think it was passed over because it was smoked in and that is an issue we feel we can over come because other than the smoke smell this car is pristine! I don't think any passengers were ever in this car. Based on the car fax it seems one owner that drove very few miles and had a minor fender bender one time. We looked at other similar cars and they were dirty and used the way you would expect. The one we got was very very clean. There were some bumps along the way trying to get this deal done and drive away in our chosen vehicle but trust me it's worth the hassle. When we first sat down to buy this car there was a title issue and we had to walk away. But after a few days it was cleared up and we came back to buy. The process was simple and strait forward. No pressure. The price is what it is then add dealer fees and tax tag title, they offer warranty as well but it's optional. The staff is pleasant a nice. Easy to work with. Very helpful and they work hard to get you what your looking for. We left with what we feel was a diamond of a car that got passed over because of the smell. But it's low mileage and super clean and a very good price. We will be back to buy again very soon. Just as an update we did come back and buy a second vehicle. We are very pleased with both purchases!!! This time we got a SUV and it's been 6 months and both our cars have been issue free and run great! We will be back. read more

I had been searching for cars for about a week and cars from their inventory kept showing up. They have a vast selection of many cars, and their prices are lower than anywhere else I've been. All cars have free carfax reports so for me that made the search even better. The sales people don't hassle you, they let you take your time and browse, all I had to do is let them know what I wanted to test drive. No pressure whatsoever. Once I decided on what I wanted it took maybe 30-45 minutes to do my paperwork (the guy working with me had to keep answering the phone or it may have been shorter). WARNING*** don't let this company take your car to the dealership for you.... I purchased an SUV with the extended warranty from Evo motors at the beginning of the year and was showed exceptional service. However there was an issue with sunroof visor and Evo told me they could drop it off at Rivard Buick and GMC to have it serviced. Not only did it take almost 2 months to replace this part but during the wait my current vehicle had broken down on me. I called The dealership explained to them that I had an extended warranty and asked if they could issue me a rental vehicle, they said absolutely and they did through enterprise. Once my vehicle was ready I drop the rental off and picked up my SUV at Evo motors. Immediately after dropping off the rental there was an issue with who was going to pay for the rental car. Simply because Eva motors made the mistake of putting my SUV in their name, the dealership couldn't use my extended warranty and therefore did not want to pay for the rental car even though they made the reservation. Enterprise car rental told me that they would take care of it and fight for the dealership to pay for my rental. But now several months later in July they're charging my card $589.27 and nobody from Evo motors has called me back I've left several messages and in regards to Rivard Buick and GMC still refusing to pay for my rental. Please be cautious when using these services! I will not buy another used car any where else but from EVO Motors! All the sales people where friendly and helpful. I worked with Fred Farha but mostly with Mac Farha. There was never any pushy sales pitch. I asked to test drive a few vehicles and was able to do so quickly. The cars have clean records and they have no problem showing you the past info on the cars. I had many questions since this car was a major upgrade for me and unfamiliar to the new technology. Mac was wonderful! Also I had gone back after the car was purchased not sure what it was. (Again not familiar with the new technology.) Havier Rodriguez was very patient and explained things where I understood. This is an amazing place to buy a car with no hassles, gimmicks, pressure or worry if you bought from the right place. Bought a car the following day it was flashing malfunction. Dealer did not want to help take care of the issues. Owner yelled at me I'm front of his children and wife and made my wife cry. She came from a funeral to do business and the owner said do you want to compare dead people and that he had buried more people than us in the last few days.
