It was a long hard process with a 91 yo gentleman at her desk, who had a very difficult time getting there a remaining there due to pain. She was very competent, kind, understanding and showed she cared. Took us through everything to be sure we were well informed and understood every aspect of what was going on and gave us many options. She also gave us other ideas to help in general for things to do when someone is scammed. Covered all the bases. It was a hard process but she made it seem like it was it was no problem. My father felt safe and assured after we were finished, as did I. This Credit Union is fantastic. Everyone was so very kind. Thank you!

When she got back she went to the bank and picked up the check to send to Toyota Financial. Then she saw her due date is in 10 days. She called NFCU and the man said he would extend the date out one month. A few days later her due date on the loan never changed and when she called back she got nothing short of absolutely total rudeness and they said you signed the contract, and if you dont like it then you can withdraw the loan and go through the application process again just to have the due date one month from today. I did my loan through PenFed. Much better service. I asked to have my first payment pushed out a week because my car was being delivered to me and they extended it an additional 4 weeks in less than a minute. The choice is clear who im doing business with from now on, Yes to PenFed, heck no to NFCU.

She answered all my questions and made me feel at home. My son preached about their ways of banking and how they help us become ready for retirement. I was also told by other Publix employees that it was the best place to go. I was very happy and notified of all my options and responsibilities and I felt so secure and felt like someone finally cares about their members lives and helps. I am so pleased and very satisfied with my visit. Please make sure Debbie gets recognition for her being so gracious and helping me with my issues. You made my day Debbie !!!! Thank you !!!!!

When my son's tax return check came in several months following his death, Suncoast would not cash it, deposit it, hold it for 6 months, any of the suggestions I had, this after 3 trips to Suncoast after having the check reissued on their suggestion, yet they still would not accept it. I gave up on Suncoast and in a last ditch effort, ended up sending the check to my granddaughter (his daughter) in Knoxville who deposited it into her checking account by photo from home. No issues.

Avoid Courtesy Toyota at all costs! I decided to give this place a second chance after they tried…read moreripping me off years ago and apparently their corrupt morals have not changed. I went in for my free oil change package that I got with the purchase of my car. They let me know that I needed a transmission flush amongst other things, to which I declined because I am not in the financial position right now to spend thousands of dollars. I understand that they need to make their money too so no hard feelings about pricing. I simply decided to have my brother in law who owns a mechanic business do the work as he has lower pricing. My brother in law advised me that they drained about 3 quarts of transmission fluid and he could tell the plug was tampered with because he marked it last time he did it, leaving my vehicle susceptible to serious transmission problems. I walked under the lift myself to confirm that the cap was not on correctly and I had no leaks. The time they tried to scam me before, they said my steering rack and hose was leaking "very bad" and I needed it replaced ASAP. Again, I took it to my mechanic father as well as another mechanic shop for a second opinion and they both said it was fine. I don't know what kind of slum lords are running this place but it breaks my heart to think about all the innocent people, especially women and the elderly, that are just trying to get by and are getting ripped off and their vehicles destroyed by this dump. Courtesy Toyota can have the rest of my free oil changes. I will never step foot in that place again and I'm telling everyone I know about my horrible experiences there.

BUYER BEWARE, SCAM ALERT I purchased a 2007 Chevy Tahoe LS…read morefrom Check Auto after being told it had a clean 5.3L Vortec engine that had been recently inspected and was in great condition by the owner. I paid $400 for transport and an additional $1,000 deposit via Zelle. Within 45 minutes of delivery (about 20 miles of driving), the vehicle overheated and the check engine light came on. A mechanic inspection revealed the vehicle did NOT have the advertised 5.3L engine--it had a mismatched "Frankenstein" 4.8L engine with no coolant, incorrect spark plugs, engine misfires, and clear signs of poor-quality repairs. I was told the engine needs full replacement, costing $5,000-$6,500. A second independent mechanic confirmed the same. The pictures were also deceiving as the car had multiple peeling clear coat areas not shown in pictures. When I contacted the dealer, they dismissed the issue and claimed it was essentially not their problem because the car was sold "as is." There is also no signed purchase agreement because the paperwork was returned to me by UPS because of an address error. Despite clear misrepresentation, they have refused to work toward a resolution or refund. I can't, in good conscience sign the paperwork as it was not the car I paid for. I've already spent over $1,400 trying to diagnose the issue and even offered to compromise, but they have refused all reasonable solutions. Based on my experience, and similar reviews from others, this appears to be a pattern. I have filed an official complaint with CarGurus as well as the Florida Motor Vehicle Field Operations Office (Region 6) at DmvRegion6@flhsmv.gov. If you've had a similar experience, and by looking around it seems many have, I strongly encourage you to do the same.

UPDATE: 9/23 - No card, no tracking, no idea where the card is. Was it ever printed? Was it ever…read moresent? Guess we'll never know. Went into the branch a few days ago and asked for the manager -- 2 hour wait. I was waiting for the joke, but guess what...it's me, for trusting that a reputable establishment would resolve an issue regarding my money, idk. Definitely should've checked the reviews before driving 40 minutes to this branch with the expectation that I'd get my issue resolved in real time. I'd like to start by saying a 1 star is generous. I went to get a replacement debit card on Friday, 9/6, because my chip malfunctioned. Before verifying that a card could be printed, Dillon both deactivated and destroyed the card that I had. So, printer is broken, I either have to wait indefinitely, or he can "do me a favor" and overnight it, I'll receive it on Monday, 9/9. Today is Wednesday, 9/11. No card. No tracking number. No record of it being sent to me. And, to add insult to injury, he didn't even properly reset my pin, so I'm walking around with a digital card that's getting declined because Dillon failed to do his job. Imagine having to go through all of the accounts your card is attached to, change the number, then find out the physical card doesn't exist, so the customer service line offers to "waive the fee" to send you a new card, thennnnnn, you have to do it all over again. I trust Navy Federal solely based on affiliation, which I now know makes me an idiot. Update from NFCU: Card wasn't even PRINTED until Monday 9/9, by someone with whom I didn't even interact when I went into the branch. Who is Diamond? Certainly not the white boy I dealt with...Not only was it not printed until Monday, they didn't even have the decency to expedite it, so now USPS has it and it will possibly be delivered by SEPTEMBER 19th. Approximately 9 business days after I was assured it would be overnighted. Imagine how pleased I am. I'd highly recommend NOT going to this branch, and based on the reviews, it ain't just me.
