I've been seeing this dealership pop up constantly online, so I decided to finally check them out…read morein person today. Based on reviews I read beforehand, my experience ended up being very similar. I did not purchase a vehicle, and here's why. First, it took about 10 to 15 minutes just to get assistance and have the car brought out. The staff didn't seem organized. The salesperson helping me appeared to be juggling multiple things at once and almost forgot about me and another couple waiting. Second, the condition of the vehicles was disappointing. The car I test drove was dirty, and it wasn't just that one. Most of the cars on the lot looked like they hadn't been properly cleaned or prepped. That already gave a bad first impression. Third, while sitting in the car before driving, I reviewed the Carfax. The vehicle had a reported accident on June 15, 2024 involving a sideswipe with damage to the right rear. It was listed as minor damage, but there was also a note about prior structural repair, specifically around the rear wheel housing. When I asked about this, I was told they don't really have to disclose damage like that. That response alone made me uncomfortable. Whether that's technically true or not, transparency matters when someone is making a purchase like this. Trying to downplay it and then saying other dealerships operate the same way didn't help. Fourth, during the test drive, the salesperson kept directing me to make right turns only. That stood out to me. I chose to make a left turn instead just to see how the car handled differently, and it seemed to catch him off guard. That raised concerns about whether they were trying to control the route to avoid certain driving conditions. Overall, between the lack of organization, the condition of the vehicles, and the way concerns were handled, I wouldn't recommend this dealership. The prices may look attractive, and they don't negotiate, but you get the sense that the target customer may be someone in a rush or not fully aware of what to look for. For context, I'm not someone who enjoys leaving negative reviews. I try to be fair and honest. But this experience was surprising enough that I felt it was worth sharing for others to be aware.

My husband and I wanted to help our son with shopping for his first car. Car shopping, according to…read moremy past experiences, can be very stressful, scary, and frustrating. We live in the Clearwater area and my son knew he wanted to shop around for a Ford Mustang. After visiting many local dealerships, he did a search online which led us to take the trek to check out Trusted Motors in Tampa. When we arrived on the lot there were many very nice looking luxury vehicles for sale. He spotted the Mustang right away and took it for a test drive. We were able to take it to a mechanic for a complete inspection, and it checked out in great condition. It was a pleasure working with our salesperson, Raul. He made the whole car buying process very quick and simple. My son is very happy with his purchase, and we will definitely look at Trusted Motors for all our future car purchases.

Starting out. I'm currently a cars salesman at a national car chain at one of the busiest stores…read morein Florida with one of the top selling brands in the world. I have been selling, buying, and working on cars for around 30 years so I know a little something about them. Now for the car in question. My wife and I drove there yesterday to look at a 2009 Audi A5. In the add online it looked really nice. And when we got there it was as well (on the outside visually). At least at first. However. We kept finding things wrong with it and those added up fast in repair bills. Front passenger headlight out and potentially needed a whole new ballast, the headliner curtain for the sunroof was missing, the sunroof had been left open at one point and the headliner got water damaged, and the material was stained and coming off the ceiling, and the brake pads and rotors needed to be replaced, the rear armrest didn't open (come down). And only 1 key fob. Even though the car drove nice I didn't think it was anywhere near worth the asking price. The lady that helped us started out nice, but when I tried to bring everything wrong with it up to her she kept trying to avoid the issues. The ONLY thing the owner was willing to help us out on is taking off $250 from the price for us to be able to go to Audi and buy a second key fob. This car was an Audi Dealership wholesale car. When I kept explaining to the sales lady how once a trade in comes in to the Audi dealership (or any major dealership) if that car needs too much work or is too expensive for the dealership to take on they wholesale the cars out to dealerships like this place. This was one of those cars. But the sales lady kept telling me "Oh. Well it's an Audi and since it's an Audi it was well taken care of. SO. I asked for a copy of the Car Fax to look at the history she said I would have to buy the car first. WHAT???? Why would we buy a car and not know the history before making a decision right? Well she said we could pay for it and they are a small time dealership and it's an extra expense for the dealership. And she kept trying to talk over me and tell me the car is worth the money. She showed me the JD Powers Price compared to what they are which means nothing to me since I do this all day long and know how the values vary from most market value sites. But with about $800-2,000 minimum in repairs that needed to be done (depending where I can get it all fixed, and if that's all that needs to be done) the car was probably going to be above the higher JD Powers price so not worth it. We decided to think about it but ultimately decided I don't know if I can trust this place with the way the SALES LADY kept trying to change the subject instead of listen to me as a customer and hide the car history with no car fax (and she kept getting flustered since I actually knew what the heck I was talking about) , etc we found the same car at another dealership and are going there today to buy it. Better condition with a Car Fax, no issues, and 2 key fobs. And they are willing to work with us on any issues I find on the car. Moral of this review. Do the homework first, take your time looking at it and make sure everything works, and at places like this make sure you take the car to a trusted mechanic to have it inspected before jumping in to buying it. $150-200 inspection could probably save you $thousands in expensive repairs by not having it checked out. I would for sure say go to a reputable large nationwide dealership and pay a little more for a car fully inspected (with an inspection report from the dealership) and have a piece of mind.

My boyfriend and I had an awesome experience at this dealership. We were helped by Baja (Cristian)…read moreand Jaryd, both of whom handled our purchase, questions, and concerns with the utmost kindness and professionalism. This place was a breath of fresh air compared to other dealerships we visited previously, it was low pressure, and we left happy (and with a new car)! We can't thank them enough, and we are extremely appreciative to Maus for hiring the right people for the job.

It looks like dealership's reviews need some major updating. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! (Both…read more sales AND service). While my wife and I were considering purchasing a Nissan, (and we were not in the market right at that moment), one salesman quickly became two, and the two then became THREE, all ganging up on me, all acting like they were my new best friends, saying "We really would like to see you in a new car.," flattering me and trying to charm me into giving them a yes, all while they were trying to pit me against my wife. A TOTAL TURNOFF. I don't need three people trying to convince me to make a purchase, especially threeA desperate sales people. (I say this from he point of view of having been in sales myself, so I knew their game.) But the service department was even worse. On two separate occasions, they attempted to bully her into getting additional, very expensive service that her car did not need. She was very suspicious because they were very pushy about it, so she took her care for a second opinion at Complete Automotive, a company that has a superior rating with Yelp and will not offer a service that a car does not need. They agreed that Maus was playing games with her. On another occasion, my wife wanted one thing done for service that only an authorized dealership would be able to do. I don't know exactly what was involved in it, but while doing their work, they came up with a list of numerous additional items that they said needed to be serviced, totalling around $6000. When she refused, the woman working with her became snide and pushy, and gave he an entire list of all that needed to be done, then insisted that my wife sign each item stating that she was refusing the service, WORSE, the woman told her that they would not return my wife's keys until she signed the papers. YOU CAN'T MAKE THIS STUFF UP! The commercials make the owner of this dealership look like the nice guy next door, but it all starts at the top. We noticed this type of behavior at BOTH of their stores, one in Brooksville the other in Pasco County. If he has true integrity (which I doubt), he would fire EVERYONE at his stores, from sales managers, to sales, to service managers and service workers and start from scratch. It would be great business decision and good for PR, but when has this dealership ever had integrity? STAY AWAY FROM MAUS!
