Also, I experience a loud noise a couple nights ago and was worried I could have had loss of hearing from that. All of that led me to look on my insurance app for an ENT provider and found them. I gave them a call at 8:30am on a Friday and they were fully booked. I explained my situation and they were super kind by fitting me in. They took a look and it appeared that there was compacted wax blocking the ear. To rule out anything else did a hearing test.
