First, the showers are rarely cleaned and it shows. there are usually bugs, dirt, hair clumps that may remain for days before they are removed. On several occasions muddy boots have soiled the floor and it was days before the clumps were cleaned. Another negative issue is the blaring piped in music. During the day and evening, loud music may be necessary or desired to enhance moods or attitudes, but at 4:00 or 5:00 in the morning, most of the gym's users are annoyed by the music turned all the way up. As I write this, I can not hear my airpods well because the house music is so loud. Iy is 6:30. the people who work out this early are: a retired pastor, two teachers, a pair of mothers, a retired couple. These are not people who need grunge music played at 100 to accomplish their exercise goals. I have asked the owner repeatedly to consider lowering the volume, but he refuses to considers his patrons.

If you're a racing guy or someone who loves cars, then this was paradise. As you pull in here, there's a garage with a bleachers area that oversees the track. The track has some sharp turns making it a fun yet nervewracking experience if you're not familiar with the track. By my second and third laps in the car, I got the hang of it and decided to let it rip. Boy oh boy, I get why people are obsessed with vehicles and engines since the feeling from the acceleration is pure ecstasy from a thrill perspective. Depending what events are here, I encourage people to try this at least once for the experience. It's not cheap so be prepared to spend some cash for the need for speed!

Then there was today nothing wrong with the park or anyone at the park BUT there's a house off of E Murray St and they were shooting pelt guns towards the dog park. I have the full address if y'all want it. I yelled out to them to not shoot this was but they just showed me that I was #1 and kept on . I'm very grateful that my dog wasn't hit by a pellet and they're very blessed they didn't hit her with a pellet. As much as I love going to this dog park we won't be going anymore. There's no reason to shoot pellet guns into a dog park that takes a certain kind of Stupid to do such a thing. You can tell they truly don't care about any type of pet . See below: Neat dog park dedicated to K9 Cash, the first K9 officer of the Angleton Police Department. I like the tribute! The entrance is to the right of the Angleton Animal Control building, with plenty of parking. Make sure your pooch has it's shots prior to going and gets along well with others! They have an obstacle ourse for dogs made from recycled playground parts which is neat. There's a seesaw, a "jump through", weave pol, a tunnel, a slide, and a couple other things. There are picnic tables for the humans to sit on- be sure to bring your own water for yourself. There is a water fountain for the dogs (and one higher up for humans), but I'd still bring a bottle with me. There's also a small fenced off area where you can take smaller dogs, if the big ones are too rowdy. There's doggy waste bags at the entrance of the bigger part for the dog park. Sometimes it's empty, I'd let animal control next door know this because they usually have extras. It does get hot in the summer, but there's a small covered area. Bring bug spray if it's mosquito season and it's later in the evening. There's a dog park group for this particular park on Facebook, so you can set up play dates with other pooches. Works well if you have a bigger dog and want equal sized playmates, lol!

The guide was incredibly knowledgeable, answering every question thrown at them with enthusiasm, and they were so warm and great with the kids in our group. You could tell they are truly passionate about what they do, and it made the whole experience that much more memorable. My son about 5 minutes into the tour said he wanted to work there when he grew up. Don't sleep on the gift shop either! For a smaller store, it was seriously impressive -- packed with Wild Republic plushies in every variety, alligator trinkets, shirts, and so much more. Let's just say we didn't leave empty-handed! What also makes this place extra special is the heart behind it. Owner/Operator Chris is deeply involved in the local community, regularly donating to schools and welcoming student field trips. We saw a lot of crocs and gators which was awesome. We started out with Reagan as our tour guide and then got Mason. Both girls were great! My daughter also loved the baby goats they had that we stopped and saw after. I would say our only complaint was they did not feed the gators very much on their end to show us and they mentioned that they had had a busy day with field trips and were low on chicken. I feel like that could have been better planned so that we got the full experience regardless if there were other tours. Otherwise highly recommend to do the VIP tour vs self guided because the animals definitely know the keepers and are way more active than if you walk around by yourself.
