The guide was incredibly knowledgeable, answering every question thrown at them with enthusiasm, and they were so warm and great with the kids in our group. You could tell they are truly passionate about what they do, and it made the whole experience that much more memorable. My son about 5 minutes into the tour said he wanted to work there when he grew up. Don't sleep on the gift shop either! For a smaller store, it was seriously impressive -- packed with Wild Republic plushies in every variety, alligator trinkets, shirts, and so much more. Let's just say we didn't leave empty-handed! What also makes this place extra special is the heart behind it. Owner/Operator Chris is deeply involved in the local community, regularly donating to schools and welcoming student field trips. It's rare to find a business that gives back the way they do, and it makes supporting them even easier. A MUST VISIT if you are even within 90 minutes of the facility. 10/10. 5 stars. BIG RECOMMEND.

We saw a lot of crocs and gators which was awesome. We started out with Reagan as our tour guide and then got Mason. Both girls were great! My daughter also loved the baby goats they had that we stopped and saw after. I would say our only complaint was they did not feed the gators very much on their end to show us and they mentioned that they had had a busy day with field trips and were low on chicken. I feel like that could have been better planned so that we got the full experience regardless if there were other tours. Otherwise highly recommend to do the VIP tour vs self guided because the animals definitely know the keepers and are way more active than if you walk around by yourself.

I have the full address if y'all want it. I yelled out to them to not shoot this was but they just showed me that I was #1 and kept on . I'm very grateful that my dog wasn't hit by a pellet and they're very blessed they didn't hit her with a pellet. As much as I love going to this dog park we won't be going anymore. There's no reason to shoot pellet guns into a dog park that takes a certain kind of Stupid to do such a thing. You can tell they truly don't care about any type of pet . See below: Neat dog park dedicated to K9 Cash, the first K9 officer of the Angleton Police Department. I like the tribute! The entrance is to the right of the Angleton Animal Control building, with plenty of parking. Make sure your pooch has it's shots prior to going and gets along well with others! They have an obstacle ourse for dogs made from recycled playground parts which is neat. There's a seesaw, a "jump through", weave pol, a tunnel, a slide, and a couple other things. There are picnic tables for the humans to sit on- be sure to bring your own water for yourself. There is a water fountain for the dogs (and one higher up for humans), but I'd still bring a bottle with me. There's also a small fenced off area where you can take smaller dogs, if the big ones are too rowdy. There's doggy waste bags at the entrance of the bigger part for the dog park. Sometimes it's empty, I'd let animal control next door know this because they usually have extras. It does get hot in the summer, but there's a small covered area. Bring bug spray if it's mosquito season and it's later in the evening. There's a dog park group for this particular park on Facebook, so you can set up play dates with other pooches. Works well if you have a bigger dog and want equal sized playmates, lol!

For decades, it was an unincorporated part of the county with no local government or emergency services. It was a free, barren, no-man's land. It was a semblance of the Wild West and, we liked it that way! Nowadays, I believed it's been annexed by the Port of Freeport. Bryan Beach is a lot of different things. It's possibly the ugliest beach in the world. Definitely, the ugliest in Texas. At the same time, it can reveal great beauty (mostly when the lights are off). It's a quickly eroding coastline, barely able to drive on or pitch a tent on. Fishing is great. Of course, you might want to catch and release as the river mouth passes a terrifying amount of pesticides, fertilizers, and God knows what else. Rip currents and an abundance of sharks make swimming dangerous. There's also sometimes dangerous people there. It's really a blank canvas. You can make it whatever you want. I've had incredible beach parties there in the past. Huge bonfires, cooking up dinner, camping out, insane amounts of alcohol.... With the right group, you can have the time of your life there. Maybe it's a weird portal to another dimension. Who knows? Bryan Beach is what you make it.

Today 7/18/15 she is 4 lbs 7oz and a week or so from going home. My son and daughter in law have been at the NICU every day since April. Since today was the baby shower, I decided it was time to take my son fishing. Glenn came highly recommended by a family friend. With all of the flood waters flowing into the gulf the past two months, our expectations were low. Today was about having a "boys" day, not catching our limit. Glenn had taken another group out earlier in the day. He was hot and he was tired. But he was the best fishing guide any of us had ever been with. He knew the spots, he knew what methods would work and we caught fish. I use to fish a lot when I was younger, but I haven't held a pole in 15 years. If you want to catch fish, are willing to take expert advice and have a good time, I highly recommend calling Capt. Glenn.
