As we entered, the young man and woman behind the counter informed us, loudly, that they were closing at 6:00. We said hello to the man at the cash register and asked him how things were going, to which he replied "TERRIBLE!" At that point, we noticed that they had put away most of the meat on display, even though it was only 5:45. We felt very uncomfortable and decided not to stay. We won't return. We understand wanting to get home on a Sunday night, but if your hours are until 6:00, why are you packed up before that time and treating your customers like an inconvenience? Change the hours to 5:30, close the doors and you can get home by 6:00!

We were seated immediately. Nice corner booth. It was nearly empty so we had a very quiet, romantic atmosphere for his Birthday Meal. Our server, Megan, was very friendly and on top of things. We ordered crab cakes for an app as well as a cup of French onion soup each. We could make a meal on that alone. The crab cakes were fantastic and the French onion soup was to die for. INCREDIBLE! The pretzel bread with cinnamon butter is very tasty. The butter is so soft and filled with cinnamon. We then ordered the filet medallions with wild mushroom risotto. We love our steaks medium rare. These were cooked to perfection. Melt in your mouth goodness! The seasoning was amazing! Very delicious. The only issue was the one long strand of hair on the edge of my plate. I spoke to the server about it to make sure better care is taken in food prep in the kitchen. She said she'd talk to the manager. Husband received a free birthday dessert.
