When I was picked up they sent a house manager to get me and he really started to ask question and seemed really sincere, when I arrived to the house I was greeted by some of my soon to be roommates and it was amazing how they all seemed to make sure I was good, alder if I needed food or go to the store? They pretty much made me feel very welcomed. Then I started doing the groups and learned a lot about myself! My one on ones with my therapist really made a big difference and I was able to get through a lot of trauma that was the underlying of root causes to some of my addictions. Since I graduated the program and starting to reintroduce myself to regular life. I have no cravings. If I think about using they come and are gone as fast as they came. I have to say that it was the development of the tools and all the classes and group settings. They really help me get through this and prepare me mentally to think of life in a different aspect and realize that I'm how much better person in sobriety than I ever was in my addiction and I'm grateful for everybody at Shoreline counselors therapist staff they all have made a big impact on the person that I am today and moving forward. This facility claims to be an inclusive and diverse community, but in reality, it feels like a "whites-only" club where people of color are made to feel unwelcome and invisible. The environment is toxic. The staff is vindictive and unprofessional, and the director is completely ineffective, allowing the women running the floor to walk all over him and the patients. It's clearly "vanilla" dominated, and if you don't fit that demographic, you don't belong. They didn't care about my sobriety; they only cared about the money. I came in ready for a 7-day detox, but they immediately pressured me to sign a 28-day contract. When I refused to be bullied, their attitude turned hostile. The attached photo of a phone number scribbled on a yellow sticky note was the only "professional" help they gave me. Don't go here if you are looking for real care. They talk about being an affirming space, but they treat patients like business transactions.

The entire inpatient program is virtual, there are no therapists on campus, no Drs, even yoga is virtual. The encourage smoking, your counselor will even smoke with you and end group early for longer smoke breaks. You are required to use your cell phone. And you will be able to call your family and friends while you're detoxing them just incase you haven't traumatized them enough. This program is a joke. None of the BFC staff is left. I'd appreciate if someone from the facility would contact me as I can't get in touch with anyone to file a grievance.

I was ready to get help and wanted to get options. I was told that I could only go to the one rehab facility she picked out (money wasn't an option). I later found out that she works with said rehab facility and gets kickbacks from them. Luckily my brother stepped in and got me to a proper facility that was not just focused on substance abuse but also depression anxiety and ptsd. I'm happy to say I'm 2 years sober after trusting my gut and not listening to Stranger. Also, contrary to what her website says, she never followed up on any of the parties involved for therapy

The moment we met Michael at the front lobby I was scared to leave home for a while the 30 days. But knew I needed sobriety and mental health monitored. I have been out almost 2 weeks and thriving no cravings! I felt so guilty and shame when I went in cause I had scared my family. Michael convinced me and our insurance covered all except $20O registration fee. Jessie the general manager was so organized and other facility like Amy... And Michelle were amazing and kind and efficient. There was no one I did not resonate with. Loved my therapist Renee and other facilitators like Bob..Curt too many to name Laundry and maid services come everyday. They work amazingly hard Shout out to Nursing staff! Nurse Kelsey was so good along with all nurses We were able to go to hikes..beach..kick Ball..rock climbing etc thanks to the kind and fun drivers. They made me get a flu test and Covid test, after telling them I didn't care if I had it or not. I told them I've been sick before and knew exactly what I had, but didn't matter. This all leads to the price. A Covid test and flu test cost nearly $500. $500 for tests I didn't want!! My insurance thankfully covered the $500 visit that lasted 15 minutes, but not the insanely priced Covid test. After speaking to billing, there's nothing they can do and I'm just forced to pay $500 for services I didn't want. I'll literally go anywhere else that doesn't try to add on services for no reason and gouge you on prices.

She was very kind and very helpful, but the other receptionist was very stuck up and rude, and I would never want to encounter her again. I hate when stuck up administration like that work as receptionist, especially Coming from my own experience and working in the same field for over 20 years people like that are the reason why quality care has been shut down and doctors don't get to see patients because these are the first people that we have to deal with in order to get to the doctors.
