Indifferent, aloof, cold. I asked for butterfly needle because I'm a 'hard stick" (Literally, was labeled this by a RN in an emergency room in 2015). It's a smaller needle and less painful. She gave me some bullshit excuse of they can't replenish their stock and she was saving it for kids. WTF??!!?? So, she used a regular gauge needle and caused me so much pain to make me whimper. Also, she damaged the vein very badly that she had to draw another tube from the other arm. Yeah, NOW she used that butterfly needle. Because ~she~ needed it to finish the job that she half-assed. Completely unprofessional and unnecessary. Picture is my bruise 1 week old.

The appointment was at 8:15am on a Saturday and I didn't know what to expect (because I had been to other labs where the weekends are just jam packed). The lab was easy enough to find and the waiting room was somewhat on the smaller side and it was full of people. Once one walks in, check-in is available via a kiosk or there's the option to do it from your phone. I opted for the latter and took a seat. I then was called to bring in my paperwork upfront and after less than 5 minutes, I was called in and greeted by a sweet lab tech. The whole thing took overall less than 10 minutes so I was happy to be in and out! Efficient and zero time wasted. I also got my results within 2 days! Super fast. This will be my future lab for all testing needs for sure! Very happy.

The technician was a delightful, pleasant young lady who made me feel comfortable and was quick and efficient. She was very gentle and alleviated my any nerves I had. Bathrooms were large and clean. The waiting room is large and clean with 2 kiosks for check in as well. I've read some bad reviews about this place, but that was not my experience at all. This change of the seasons has my allergies and asthma really running rampant so I came here last week and today not all of them are like this place shortages of doctors, long waiting to see the doctor so don't think it's a in and out process. I made my appointment on their website last night, arrived & the wait time was average. The staff inside & in other suites throughout the building were most pleasant. For someone with a dramatically awful lifetime of passing out during bloodwork & having pain & hostile phlebotomists in clinics & hospitals, this was, hands down, the easiest bloodwork experience of my life. During my former experience on King's Highway, the worker took a PAINFULLY long time, all puns intended (felt like I was giving my entire body's worth of blood; what the heck?!). Here, I didn't even recognize the feeling on my arm & by the time that feeling was over, so was the bloodwork. Finished in record timing. Lovely considering my fear of needles. Go here for your medical tests, then treat yourself across the street. Highly recommended for an experience that I can't stand. P.S. Bummer that I have a tiny bruise on the site of needle. I would never have expected that 4 hours later considering my glowing review...... Bruise Iris still there 24+ hours later.
