This is just not a good study program. I was studying for the nursing Med-Surg exam. The questions here are very outdated. There is very little, if any, explanation. These questions are not typical of the exam. I stopped using the program and went to other very good apps, and did pass the exam :). Exam Edge staff is not doing their homework ! Save your money. I would give this company 0 stars if I could. I have been an educator for over 25 years. I've been part of committees where we create official exams. The Educating All Students (EAS 201 in New York) exams I purchased for my son were no where near the quality of the actual NYSTC exam. I purchased stories and my son answered reading comprehension questions. There were NO pedagogical content or strategies asked in ANY of the 3 out of 5 exams I purchased. I told my son to stop wasting his time because a fifth grader could answer the reading comprehension questions. At no time, while taking the exams, did my son answer questions about children with special needs, English language learners, or highly gifted children. I took their AGACNP practice test. I am currently licensed and board certified as an FNP and pursuing certification as an AGACNP. The level of practice questions were not consistent with an AGACNP exam; more consistent with an NCLEX level test. There was a question which showed a newborn/pediatric x-ray which is outside of the scope of practice for an AGACNP. More than 90% of the questions pertained to outpatient care with very little pertaining to critical thinking in the inpatient setting. The wording of the questions were not consistent with board examination questions. I would not recommend this company to anyone pursuing certification as an AGACNP. To the companies credit, their Customer Service department is very responsive and helpful. read more

I bought Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) 10 practice exams (1000 questions). My issues are: a. A lot of the questions seem to be irrelevant to the topic, almost dumb to a point that you'll question if they just threw that in just for the sake of asking. b. I also find LOTS of questions are repeated from other exams. So instead of getting 1000 unique questions, you'll get 100-200 questions that were asked from other exams. c. Few misspells. d. Over half of the test was based in nursing and not in surgical technology, they are two completely different roles in healthcare! I recently used Exam Edge to prepare for the Certified Case Manager Exam (CCMN), and I passed on the first try. They have a live chat option on the site and someone always answered my questions right away. I wish I would have read these reviews first before I bought this for the Ohio Assessments for Educators (OAE) for school counseling. Half of the questions and their explanations have typos which I could have looked past. However, after having to research why some of the answers were incorrect (their explanations just restate which question is correct without actually doing any explaining), I come to find out that the information they provided was completely false. If you are studying for an exam, don't purchase test prep that is going to teach you the wrong thing. None of the practice questions are remotely close to actual test questions. They also have a no refund policy, so after you get ripped off, you get to stew in it. I took the VI EXAM. For background I've been a tech about 20 years, I'd done Ct about 5 of those years I think and now IR for about 4 years. I did the ASRT modules and some blue IR review book I found on Amazon. I had less than 2 weeks before my exam when I purchased 5 tests from exam edge. I did those and realized there was more I needed to know so I ordered an additional 15 with one week to go. Basically, I would do the tests on answer mode, answer the question, open the answer, and if I needed I would screenshot both question and answers to use as flash cards on my phone while I was in between cases And look up anything I needed to lookup and study. The last 5 tests I took untimed, cause I couldn't always do it in one sitting, but no answers, so I could get an accurate grade. I was scoring around 72-75 when I started the tests and on the last 5 I was getting 75-89. It was a lot to do in less than 2 weeks but I was worth it to me. I passed with an 86. I will say it helped that I hung out with my ultrasound friend and learned from her over the years for a couple questions. And there are A LOT of typos. And a few questions that were worded so weird I didn't know what they were asking. All in all exam edge practice tests definitely helped me pass my VI exam. read more

This company (www.ftcepractice.com) sells online practice tests to prepare for FTCE teacher certification exams. If you look at any of the sample exams or materials through more reputable companies, you will find the questions are very similar to the real tests. The official test prep materials given by the state are solid as well. But these questions look nothing like what is on the actual exams. In fact, they look much more like older versions (1990's) versions of the FTCE exams. In some places, we found questions that appear to be from other tests. For instance, I was taking PK-3 language arts and reading subtest and found about 10 questions that were clearly math prep questions. Many of the questions also had just plain wrong answers. After speaking with dozens of teachers at my school, all of whom have taken the PK-3 test in the past 2 years, none of them have ever heard of some of the stuff that is on this practice test. It asks about theorists and researchers. Some questions look like you are being tested on the names of who came up with certain concepts. I only used one practice test, so I contacted the company to see if I could get a refund for the remaining three unused tests. I didn't want them and had not used them. The company can tell I have never opened the content, so there should be no problem honoring the product. THEY REFUSE TO REFUN ANYTHING. They do not stand by their product and they steal your money. I PASSED WEST B Mathematics with a score of 272 out of possible 300 (passing score in WA state is 240). I was beyond thrilled when I received the official score on March 1st. I knew I passed after taking the exam, but didn't know my exact score. I genuinely credit the practice tests on Exam Edge for that (and NO they're not paying me to say that!). I had previously purchased the CIRRUS Study guide which contains information and practice for all three of the WEST B exams. But I wasn't feeling confident, I still had a lot of questions...especially about Math. So with a dedicated week to studying, I purchased the 5 practice test bundle from Exam Edge-for math. I found the tests to be rigorous, but in a good way. In fact, when I took the actual exam, I had a moment of thinking the WEST B was easier than the practice tests :-) That's how prepared I was. One of the best features Exam Edge offers is the detailed explanations of how to solve items that were incorrect. That was very helpful. I'm giving this 4 out of 5 stars because: 1) The practice test were set up as 90 minutes and the actual WEST B is 120 minutes [although it worked out that I had time to spare because I studied and practiced based on 90 minutes-so on more difficult problems, I felt comfortable taking an extra minute to solve it]. 2) When I clicked "next" to move to the next problem, the problem number often did not change. I had to click "previous", then "next" a couple of times for it to register the next problem. I highly recommend Exam Edge. It was worth every penny! read more

ARRT Radiography-ordered 10 exam pack & completed 2 so far. Found many questions repeated and/or don't apply to x-ray at all. Specific questions about meds (thyroid, sedation, anticoagulants, pain, seizures & diuretics) will NEVER be given by an x-ray tech. Out of our scope of practice. Specific questions about different methods/types of sedation all either apply to nursing or CRNA. Again, out of our scope of practice. These exams are a total waste of my money and time. I purchased the 5 test package for OAE Biology 007, and used it as a base for studying. I used all 500 questions to create a comprehensive study guide and then went online and researched further on the different subjects. At first, I felt somewhat confident going into my test. After the first few questions I realized that nothing I had studied was on the test. Out of 500 questions I did not feel that there was any overlap in any deeper information. For example: there were questions on mitosis in both, but the historical figures and important moments were completely different. I found multiple errors (both gramatical and conceptual) in the questions. Needless to say, I did not pass. I feel that it gave me a false sense of preparedness. read more
