    No guidance or support for our HOA board. Contractual obligations by the company were not fufilled. Very shady dealings.

We are talking broken toilet paper holder, broken dishwasher, refrigerator, cracked flooring. All had to be fixed and they were in and out for over a month. Fast forward to the first summer. AC goes out and it's over 100 outside. They say it's frozen just keep it off for a few days. Excuse me. No. But they refuse to fix it. Winter hits and we use the fireplace and it starts popping chunks of the insert out. We have them come out and do they fix it. No they screw a board over it so now we have an ugly board over a fireplace we can't use and they still to this day won't fix it. Next the electrical in the main bedroom keeps going out and you have to beat the wall to get it back so that one they fixed due to the fire risk. But the flooring is cracking again and it's because the foundation is sinking. Do they fix the foundation. No they throw dirt and cement around it so you can't see it from the outside and even the flooring company said this is a foundation issue so the foundation needs repaired. Now we are here at the 3rd summer and every single year so far the ac goes out. Once again the AC is out. It's 95 in the house and they are coming out today but I know they are going to refuse to replace it. I'm livid because they would rather cut corners than fix stuff properly.

The back spicket is broken and you can't connect a hose to it plus it's coming out of the siding. My fence is rotting to death. We don't use the pool anymore because adults aren't allowed to have fun. Ridiculous. I'm not talking be inappropriate. We should be able to bring a noodle? As a renter I pay for all of this. We pay over $2200 a month for 1600 square feet and that includes the garage. They care more about the land lord than the tenants. When the lease is up we are out. I recommend everyone do research before you rent. Rent is always negotiatable if you're dealing with honest people! I will not attack anyone 1 person. I feel that both renter and landlord should be happy not just 1 sided. Jon I have discussed these problems with you months ago and I texted you today around 11:50am and it's 5:00pm. You are the one who made the rules and said that the privacy fence is a privilege and your office says it too. In fact you have it in your hand book. You haven't solved any problems for me to write a good review. I told you I would not put a good review in until I see changes. No changes on your end at all. Don't come on here and lie. I respect honest people. You aren't being honest. This relationship will end on the last date of the lease and I will take care of everything you need from me to get out of here. I will end with that. Anything you say after this I will come back with facts. Let's leave it alone and just make it to next August. We are not breaking rules and taking care of the property with love and care. So I should have no problem getting my deposit back when we move! I already handed over my documents to a professional.     The manager of Preston Management is Karrie Preston. She does not respond to work orders. She does…read morenot have any compassion towards her elderly tenants and the leases that she draws up are not in accordance with state law so be very careful and mindful of details she puts in your lease and make sure they are in accordance with state law in Texas. My mother was in one of her properties for almost a year. She never paid her rent late. Never gave this woman any problems the whole time she was there even tho she refused to fix the AC in the summer and now that the winter has arrived she won't fix the heat. My mother is a senior citizen who was hit by a drunk driver in the past and barely survived. She has health issues that get worse when it gets cold and Karrie refused to fix the heat unless my Mother paid for it out of pocket which is illegal in itself. She has had to use space heaters and her oven to heat the house to attempt to stop her pain and to top all these things off Karrie decided she was not going to renew Her lease because she complained about the situation and the fact she has cameras mounted at her door for personal security. She is making her at fault for having security. I believe this woman is not only incompetent, vindictive but prejudice towards black people in general.
