Well after…read morea recent hip injury I reluctantly let my mom talk me into going to her chiropractor to get it checked. My experience there so far has been amazing. First visit I had to fill out the unavoidable paper work but once that was done there was almost no waiting around for the doctor to be ready. After this appointment I even got a checkup call later that day to see how I was feeling after an "adjustment" had been made during the appointment. Since the first visit, the experience has been delightfully consistent. No waiting, everyone is exceptionally nice and helpful, and I don't feel out of the loop on my medical condition. I can't say it's changed my opinion of medical services in general, but I will certainly not dread any time I have to go back to Associated Chiropractic!

Hmmm, maybe this will do more good than I thought! That is quite an understatement. It has done a world of good for this old 80+ body! I was convinced my problem was in my joints which had already been revealed to be arthritic by x-ray and an MRI. Turns out, the greater problem was due to neglected muscle from my hips down. I had "babied" my left hip for the past two years due to a severe bout of sciatica that sometimes required a walker or at least a cane. Bummer! Anyway, the good folks at Springfield P.T. assessed my situation and diagnosed my problem as more muscular than I thought. They were spot on! Even though the pain from the sciatica was gone, I had still walked with a limp, Turns out, that leg had become very weak due to my favoring it. The team at S.P.T. went right to work and each day resulted in some improvement that was noticeable. I now put on my socks and get in and out of the car without pain. These people know their stuff and I do not hesitate to recommend them...and highly. A congenial and professional staff, pleasant surroundings and a ton of equipment and gadgets that appeared to be state of the art. Now, I need to also write my MD a thank you for prescribing the PT. Took 2 weeks for them to call and tell me that my insurance denied me for the nerve block. But yet my insurance said it was covered. Then they gave me tramadol which does nothing. Then I get my bill, $929 for the office visit and almost $400 for my urine test. This is such an overcharge I cancelled my next appointment. they are taking advantage of people in pain. Then they did not help me. I will go back to my Orthopedic doctor and let them know all this. i will say the staff I spoke to on the phone are very nice people along with the doctor. Sharon R.
