I had my floors replaced in my living, dining, and bedrooms, as well as my steps refinished. The molding was also replaced throughout the house. The most unprofessional company I have ever worked with and their workmanship is not great either. Robert is the worst person to deal with. I had to call him over 20 times to get my job done at my house. I will never use their services again nor recommended them to anyone. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!- We are taking them to court for damage to the floor they installed. They damaged the floors with their own equipment and missed the installation of some molding. They promised to return and fix the damage and never showed both times we took off from work and waited for them. They do no return calls. The promised a refund that we have never received. read more

This company is awful!!!! I'm still waiting for a call after 2 weeks. Appointment was on a Saturday at 9 am. Never showed never called. Had a excuse said they would come at 2, never called never showed. We called later and they said they couldn't make it. Said they would come on Sunday. Never called never showed. We called them and they said they would be there at noon and I'm still waiting 2 weeks later. I would give them a 0 if I could. Got a different company and are very happy. read more

Would not recommend them to anyone. These guys damaged my whole baseboard hot water heater pipes. It shows that they are not at all trained to do the work they do. They installed the baseboard molding and damaged the whole water heater pipeline in the wall. It was obvious that there was pipeline inside the wall and they just nailed the baseboard molding without thinking about the pipes. Now that I have to fix my pipeline, it is going to cost me double the money. If you want to get good quality work without any additional damage then do not hire these guys. They just want to finish the work as soon as possible and earn the money. Bunch of amateurs. A big no no to these guys from me. read more

Excellence---I think not. Unfortunately, I think Helen K was a family member of these people. They were the worst!! They confirmed a Sat morning appointment, on Thursday. Then after scheduling my day around their alleged 9am arrival-they were a no show. I called the same "Robert" the last reviewer spoke of and he claims that they didn't come to my house at the confirmed time because "they thought I wouldn't be home". Why would I leave when we had an appt?!? Perhaps they thought that because they operate very UNPROFESSIONALLY!!! So when speaking with them (after moving all of my furniture out of the rooms I'll add) Robert informed me that they would meet me at noon. Needless to say, they didn't show up. BEWARE!!!!!!! Called for an estimate and measurements. Robert started that they don't provide measurements - standard rate anything under 400 sq. ft. $600, anything over $1.50 per sq. ft. I told him that the measurements I took are around 350 sq. ft. We scheduled an appointment and he had his team come out. Towards the end of the installation (good not great work) one of the installers expressed that I had about 20 sq. ft. of work left to complete but not enough materials. Robert called me in a frenzy was very rude - he asked me if I'd like to have the guys locally purchase more materials to finish the job. But I told him that my flooring materials wasn't sold in stores and that I'd have to reorder online. Furthermore, that's why I initially requested professional measurements. He then started ranting, "Well you always should order more than what you measure." I was in disbelief at his unprofessional tone. Once he stopped speaking over me and realized that I was in total shock, he then began to adjust his tone, retract his approach and offered that once the additional materials were reordered and delivered he send his guys back out to finish the job for an additional $50. I agreed. The materials came, I made the appointment, Robert confirmed via text the night before and at appointment time he was a no call, no show. This is my first review on yelp. I just purchased a home and used Excellence Hardwood Floors for my refinishing. They have really competitive prices and that includes dust-less service. To be fair, there is still some dust, but that is to be expected. The workers were polite and professional and answered all my questions, especially Robert the owner. The only small knock I would give is that some floor stain showed up on my base molding. Nothing a little touch-up can't fix. Overall, very much recommended and would use again. read more
