Not many of the ladies speak very good English, but they are all so so sweet. The first time I went I took a German speaking friend with me to explain what I wanted. I later decided to purchase it from the feel and look. When I went to check out they didn't accept Amex and I had only €20 on me. So they told me not to worry and took only my €20 while I told them that I'd leave the balance at the hotel. (It was a holiday so 3 days went by they were closed). On my last day I decided to take the money over myself and they accepted it gladly almost as if they had written it off as loss. They were very grateful and surprised I'd brought it to them. I asked if they had anyone available for a blow out and the manager fit me in kindly. She herself washed my hair and Sasha squeezed me in juggling a client as her curlers set. The salon next door was also great but I just felt more pampered here.

The staff is nice enough -- like what you would normally expect at a hair salon -- but I THINK they are way too set on what they think is the best haircut or color... I paid almost 500 euros and walked out looking exactly the same. When I came back to tell them, they basically told me it did not look the intender way because of two hair masks. So I bought them (around 85 euros together), and... no difference when i went home. I ended up going back to Copenhagen to have someone else look at my hair, because there was literally no change at all... Not much else to say except i personally dont think its Worth all this money for a color. The haircut was good enough, but that's really it. i usually dont write these reviews but i think its important to be honest.

We had gone here for three years and then one day they claimed we missed an appointment and must pay. To cut it short, we had no record of the appointment nor did we receive an notification on the days leading up to, or the day of concerning the alleged appointment. But that's not the real point, nor the basis for the rating. When I called to have a civil discussion that there may be a mix-up, the owner was extremely rude, and said some unbelievably disrespectful things! I understand that sometimes German businesses get a bad rap for customer service...but the owner will dispel those myths without a moment's notice. Stylists? Great! But I would say, given how the owner truly values his clients, you will be mich better served to find other options, of which there are many.

Thee website states to book an appointment by phone, but I messaged the salon on Facebook and Steffi got back to me right away and I booked an appt by Facebook messenger. When you first enter the salon: you'll hang up your coat, have a seat, fill out an information sheet/contact info, and then Steffi will ask what you would like, get your hair washed and conditioned, then Steffi will cut your hair. I was pretty flexible and just wanted to get rid of the unhealthy part of my hair since I hadn't cut my hair in over a year. I wanted to keep as much length as possible along with long layers and angles to frame my face. She provided input when I asked and she repeated what she would do which is always reassuring. She even showed me exactly how much she planned on cutting. Steffi's English is amazing and there was no language barrier. After Steffi completed my cut, Ally (Allie) blew my hair out straight. Ally is steffi's colleague who is American and she has a total of 6 years experience. She was very sweet and it was easy to carry on a convo with her. My hair came out pretty well. I almost wish my angles were alittle shorter to frame my face better, but in their defense.... I'm sure Steffi would have cut it shorter if I requested. I honestly didn't notice that it was still pretty long until after it was blown out. (My hair always looks different wet vs dry.) It's no big deal though. My primary goal was to chop off my dead ends, so mission accomplished! This place is a bit pricey compared to the states, but I think it's relatively fair for Germany. I will most likely return in 4-6 months for another cut!
