I'm going there mostly for films development, and never had any problems ever. Also I used to scan my films there , it's not the greatest scans ever, but was working for my need, till I got my own scanner. I would especially recommend film camera owners to try him instead of a storefront that is less familiar with older cameras.

I really appreciate this because getting my passport photo taken is always something that I dread . It always looks weird and then I'm stuck with it for 5-10 years. I needed a photo for a piece of identity, I initially took it at a pharmacy, but damn, that was…read morescary, it looked like I was returning from a sleeping deprived experiment. Call me vain, but I was not ready to look at myself in that piece of ID for the upcoming years looking like that. So I waited that this studio was ready to open. Desinfectant was at the door, spots on the floors were there to help with physical distancing and the 2 ladies that were working were super welcoming and also very surprised that I was the 9th customer coming for the exact same picture, I guess everybody took this time off to update their paperwork. They used proper lighting and light diffusers and showed me several takes to choose from. Honestly all of them were perfect. The difference between the old photo and the new one is huge. As someone who was just getting into film, I wasn't ready to spend upwards of $700 on a camera. We found this shop on Google and decided to stop in. It's a small spot, filled with cameras and equipment. There was one other girl there grabbing more film. We didn't catch the guys name but I'm assuming he was the owner. He was very sweet and helpful from the minute we came in. I didn't know what I was looking for so he asked some questions, what did I want to take pictures of, stuff like that, and then pulled out three cameras. He walked me one by one through what the differences are of each. I ended up going with a Minolta SRT-201. He showed me how to shoot for different lighting, and how to put the film in. It was very reasonably priced. I got the camera and two lenses for $275. He told us we can come back to get the film developed and we can pick up physical prints or he can email it to us. He clearly loved what he did and wanted to share that passion.

What a great little photo shop in westmount square! We went in a few days before Christmas because…read moremy daughter wanted to make a framed photo collage of family pictures for her grandparents. They have a good selection of nice frames of different sizes at reasonable prices. We were able to pick out a frame and print our pictures from her phone on the spot. Not only that, but the nice salesman in the store volunteered to place the photos in the frame and hang a picture wire on it for us, thus saving me about 30 minutes of work at home and doing a much better job of it in the process. I know it's usually easier and cheaper to send things off to Walmart or similar, but for something special there's no substitute for expert and professional service at a place like this.
